Pros: Clean room, clearly recently renovated or decorated.
Cons: Didn't like having to phone our arrival time in advance.
Pros: size of the room, dinner and breakfast, staff , bicycles friendly, calm and quiet
Cons: insonoriaation of the ceiling in the room is weak
Pros: Friendly staff. Nice room.
Cons: No water cooker in the room.
Pros: great room, even better bed!
Cons: the staff was very distant / even unfriendly. This might be cause they are French and we as Belgians have different ways of social interactment. But we didn't feel very welcome.
Pros: It was clean and good for the price
Cons: the personal was not so friendly and we had the impression children were not welcome, specially at the bar/restaurant.
Pros: Very quiet and relaxing. Lovely little gem of a hotel in a quaint village just on French border of Ardennes. Fantastic dinner and breakfast at hotel very reasonable price. Highly recommended. Spotlessly clean and modern. Hotel owners only speak French but wasn't a problem as my partner speaks enough to get by on. Lovely little touches with water, tea and coffee making facilities in room which most European hotels do not include. The best hotel and food we have had whist on our trip. Thank you for being lovely hosts and providing a lovely hotel. We will be back
Pros: Lovely high quality and spacious rooms very recently built with all mod cons. Great shower and comfortable beds. Very quiet. Great restaurant with very good menu. The breakfast was basic and ok but didn't live up to our high expectations after our restaurant experience as it had had limited choices.
Cons: The bar closed too early and there was nowhere else in the village to go. No USB charging facility.
Pros: Nice and clean.
Cons: Good internet!
Pros: Basic, clean 2* Hotel, the rooms we were in are across the road from the main building. Staff were friendly, no English speakers but luckily my wife speaks a little French. Really nice restaurant.
Cons: The town it's located in is a bit run down and quiet so no shops or cafes nearby just a pharmacy and an average bakery. As there's nothing nearby, apart from the hotel restaurant, some coffee/tea making facilities would help. 8 EUR per person for a breakfast.
Pros: New and clean Fab restaurant location by river Great beds
Cons: When we arrived dinner was not served anymore -
Le point de Chute is located near the Belgian border at Tournavaux, 25 minutes from Charleville-Mézières and 40 minutes from Sedan. A continental breakfast is prepared every morning. Guests exploring the region by car will appreciate the convenient and free on-site parking.
Pros: Excellent! Can't wait to return
Pros: Staff very friendly and helpful (they were also bikers).
Cons: Greater selection of beer would have been good.
Pros: Located close to Les Hautes Rivières. Quiet. Good food. Nice breakfast. Orval.
Pros: Nice Location. Friendly staff.
Cons: Won't number of beds on advert. Had to sleep on a mattress on the floor.
Pros: Bathroom ok
Cons: Reasonable room, small beds. Don’t expect too much from the restaurant/bar. Small village without any facilities. Booked for 3 nights but left after the first one.
Pros: It was fairly quiet and the location was ok for us. Dinner tasted quite good and was well served, looking good. Though the food was little and quite expensive.
Cons: The breakfast selection was terrible - four types of meat, one type of cheese, old and stale fruit salad (couldn't eat it), an old pie/ tart with sugar on top and a bad taste (couldn't eat it either), two types packed sweet pastry. No eggs, no vegetables and no cereals. Also the whole place was not particularly clean. And what about the dogs there? There was one in a room upstairs always stuck at the window, sometimes barking, and two others tied behind the bar. It can't be healthy for the poor animals to be living like that.
Pros: Everything, superb rooms In a beautiful location and perfect hosts!
Pros: Friendly welcome by both owners and staff. Location was great and very pretty. Food was excellent. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return.
Pros: Le Point De Chute is a great place to stay in a remote, quiet village. Biker friendly owners too. The food was great and they stock plenty of different beer, which was good for us.
Pros: It was in a beautiful location. The restaurant stayed opened late for guests which was great as there were no options nearby on our arrival day.
When you stay at Le Franco Belge in Montherme, you'll be 8 minutes by car from Roc de la Tour. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Friendly flexible service. Clean room.
Cons: Room a little on the small side.
Pros: The room had 2 aparte rooms
Pros: Good breakfast, comfortable rooms
Cons: Staff doesn't speak English
Pros: Great staff, good food. Free WiFi, free parking. In very scenic area.
Cons: Room was a bit dated and various things were a bit wonky. Old style 2 pin sockets, sink taps moved about, very small shower if you used the curtain. Just needs a bit of modernising to suit today's tourists.
Pros: It was an excellent place to stop while cycling along the Meuse River, just off the Voie Verte and with a secure storage place for the bicycles. The hotel had a very homely atmosphere, it was clean and with a good internet signal. Restaurant served traditional, local dishes where I discovered the hearty cacasse à cul nu(!)
Cons: Nothing much to complain about, but I wish I didn’t have to hold the shower and I missed a bedside table or shelf.
Pros: We were so pleased with this place we have decide we will certainly go back there again. The town is a lovely place to explore.
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful, the breakfast was generous and the room was well kept and clean.
Cons: Great reception, well appointed room, friendly staff and excellent cuisine, highly recommended.
