10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, free parking on the street, spacious room and bathroom, very clean. The owner was as helpful as a friend, even walked me to the local churrería. Always gave advice on where to visit and best route to get there. I will definitely use this hotel again if I travel anywhere within easy driving distance from Baeza.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I was travelling by bicycle and got there an hour before check in, I was leaving a. Orr to say I would return and the owner came out and checked me in. You could not ask for a nicer guy and the place looked brand new. Everything was so good. And being just a short walk to the center made the hotel nice and quiet!
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location in a quiet street with parking close by but a quick walk to all the sites. Spotlessly clean rooms and very comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Two of the nicest, most helpful hosts we met on a 25-day trip through Spain; very comfortable and modestly priced accommodations, adorned with the host's oil paintings; within reasonable walking distance of town and restaurants
Cons: We wish there had been on-site parking, but the street parking was adequate and free
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location was great, only ten to twenty minutes to the sights, room was neat and tidy, very clean. Owner was very helpful ,thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will be returning again this year.
Cons: Parking was a bit difficult but the owner asked a neighbor if I could park outside their house easy for a motorbike, I would imagine bit more difficult for a car.

Cons: Parking difficult
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff. Great location. Excellent price. Fantastic to have the use of a pool with an excellent bar too.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: For a Spanish hotel, this was extremely quiet. The door fitted properly, which helps, and the TV noise from the bar didn't reach us. The breakfast set-up was simple and decent value. The bed was comfortable but it did have nasty sharp corners on the legs which were almost designed to catch your shins as you moved around the room. As other reviewers have noted, the rooms are small (smaller than they appear in the wide-angle lens pics). However - there was so much plastic waste built in: The soaps and shampoos, which could have been in a dispenser, were in hard-to-open sachets (truly impossible with wet hands) and if you didn't use them all, the rest would leak away - wasted. Vast amounts of plastic, from the sachets to the plastic bags on each water cup would be thrown away. This really is not tenable or sustainable, and would put me off returning.
Cons: see points about plastic waste
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent customer service, especially for the morning breakfast. One of our guests is celiac and they went out of their way to even clean a toaster for us with gluten-free options. The bed and the pillows were extremely comfortable. Bathroom was large and everything needed was supplied. Also, there was AC in the room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location... very helpful and polite staff... excellent breakfast. Highly recommended. Comfortable beds and pillows.
Cons: Toiletries not practical...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was spotlessly clean. No noise. The pool was a godsend. The staff were helpful and friendly and helped with requests whenever they could. Overall -Excellent
Cons: Absolutely nothing
7.5 Good
Pros: The place was very clean and the location was great.
Cons: The room, and especially the bathroom were small. The foam mattress was very uncomfortable. Breakfast was disappointing as the bread and pastries were stale.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: In the historical neighborhood of Baeza. Great value for money. Excellent breakfast

Featured amenities include a computer station, express check-out, and complimentary newspapers in the lobby. Event facilities at this hotel consist of conference space and a meeting room. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect, the room was clean and very comfortable. Excellent breakfast and we were lucky to get a parking spot in the hotel carpark. There is a public carpark a short walk from the hotel as well. Baeza is a really lovely place to visit. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby and we had the best (free) tapas of our whole trip! During July and August it is very quiet with hardly any tourists. Of course it's hot, but so are Seville and Cordoba and they are still busy during the summer months. We loved it and will definitely be back.
Cons: Nothing, all good
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was very clean and comfortable. Huge bathroom with excellent water pressure. Soothing views to the cloister from your room. You can also enjoy them at the bar.
Cons: Nothing to comment.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Central location, close to monuments and restaurants. Hotel parking was cheap and staff was friendly. The rooms was clean and the air conditioning worked like a charm.
Cons: Wi-Fi didn't work. Parking spaces are very limited (about 15x for 80+ rooms), car park access is quite tricky and you can end up scratching your vehicle quite easily.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location in the centre of Baeza, with underground car park (ideal for small cars and short people!) Staff were friendly and helpful, room was a decent size, and the breakfast selection good.
Cons: The orange juice at breakfast was disappointing, unusual in a Spanish hotel, where it's often fresh.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is perfect to visit Baeza.
Cons: Parking options.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location.
Cons: Garage access a little difficult.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: Breakfast buffet decent but a 4-star hotel should offer freshly-squeezed juice (especially not orange juice from a machine dispenser). No complimentary bottle of water. Shower is located in the bathtub which does not contain an anti-slip mat or anything to hold on to when exiting the bathtub. Both the closet & safety deposit box are placed in an awkward position which gets very little light. You are basically fidgeting around in semi-darkness.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, helpful and friendly staff. Would highly recommend.
Cons: All good!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: everything
Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: TRH Ciudad de Baeza was excellent in every respect

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The orthopedic bed mattress was excellent. The outdoor area with our room was a lovely feature We were not aware there was a breakfast facility so we went out to eat. The hotel location was excellent being in the centre. The hotel appearance as you entered was very good, decor etc and you knew someone cared about the hotel appearance.
Cons: The fact I couldn't speak Spanish but only English. That however is no fault of the hotel!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: It was close to the centre of town and within walking distance to many of the local historical attractions.
Cons: It was a shame that they had no restaurant facilities but in the end this didn’t matter as they had a good link with a local cafe that did breakfast (cup of coffee, glass of freshly squeezed orange juice and half baguette toasted) for €2.50!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything we wanted for a comfortable night ... with even a little fridge to keep our bottle of water cool.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Third visit to Baviera. Although rooms are small they are very comfortable ( traditional spanish style). Good secure car park (extra fee). Love Linares, lively city with great shops and bars. Very convenient for motorway (about 10 kms)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything else
Cons: Some noises during the night (room 108) and the receptionist not speaking English at all.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location,easy parking lot
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel deserves easily 3 stars. The gentleman on check in was very friendly and welcoming. The room was small but comfortable and got everything you need for a short stay. The bathroom was our favourite - new, modern, with a big rain shower. We definitely would stay in the baviera hotel again.
Cons: For a longer stay we would book the mini junior suite as the double room was quite small and the window was facing the corridor, so no direct air access.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very central, clean. Nice little terrace attached to the room. No frills, but we just needed a place to sleep and shower, and for that it was very good.
Cons: The toilet and bath tub could do with an upgrade.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location.....so convenient. Acommodation by the staff...they put a mini-fridge in our room! Great advice about street parking and bars.
Cons: We wanted 2 beds and paid for 3. Regular rooms 40€ a night, we paid 50€...for a tiny, windowless (sky-lighted) room.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: All the staff were very friendly and willing to help. The rooms were very comfortable and had all of the necessary amenities including ac/heating. Very beautiful and traditional andaluz building in an ideal location. Very good value for money too!
Cons: It would have been useful to have had a vending machine in the reception area where you can buy bottled water. I had to keep going to the super market to stock up which was abit inconvenient but not a major issue!

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable business hotel. There is an excellent Italian restaurant next door. The rooms are spacious; parking is a problem if you don't want to use the garage, but 10 euros is reasonable by Spanish standards.
7.5 Good
Cons: The breakfast was not up to a standard I expect.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable spacious room.
Cons: The parking was not available - closed for refurbishment work. The web site should have flagged this up.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Quiet but easy to access shops and restaurants
Cons: No free water in room
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean comfy and great location
Cons: No kettle provided so couldn’t make a cuppa
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff couldn’t do enough to help
Cons: All ok
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean, very central location, big comfy bed, excellent en suite bathroom, controllable heating and a large balcony with tables and chairs
Cons: Tv remote didn't work and there is a small amount of audible sound from next door occasionally, very minor gripes in all honesty.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was terrific - right downtown and having parking underneath was a blessing. The air conditioning was welcome and it worked so much better than other hotels that I stayed in on this trip. The staff were friendly and efficient and switched to either English (both receptionists were completely fluent) or a pleasant mixture (other staff) which made my visit fun
Cons: I wanted to buy a copy of the book in my room which had excellent photographs and reviews of the region but there wasn't one available.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: You will hardly find somebody to speak English language. It’s not possible sometimes like this in a 4 stars hotel ... Poor breakfast for this class of hotel
Hotel Palacio De Los Salcedo - Baeza - Building
6
8.5 Excellent (897 reviews)
C$ 97+
Overview Reviews
A stay at Hotel Palacio de Los Salcedo places you in the heart of Baeza, steps from Torre de los Aliatares and 3 minutes by foot from Baeza Town Hall. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. Limited parking is available onsite.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great building (who doesn't love staying in a palace?) and a very comfortable room. Location was perfect for me - 10mins walk from the bus station, a few seconds' walk in the other direction to a lovely local bakery for excellent simple breakfasts with the locals, 2 minutes to the main square.
Cons: Somehow in the process of turning this into a hotel it's become rather corporate. Yes everything works efficiently, but the place rather lacks personality. Bedroom furnishings were very bland (though the bathroom was lovely). 9euros for breakfast is a bit cheeky, too (I declined, my 2 euro option at the bakery was perfect).
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful old building with lovely antique furnishings. Incredible interior atrium. Room was spacious and elegant.
Cons: Nothing! We loved it
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great setting - central architecture of the dining room. Location next to town center. Great breakfast. Quiet room.
Cons: Parking not available (but public parking nearby).
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel building was a former palace. When you look up the ceiling at the reception, you will be back to the time when the city had been flourished.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location is the best
Cons: bar or tapas area would be nice
7.9 Good
Pros: The actual building itself
Cons: No window in the room, only on the corridor of the court yard. They have no credit cards facilities so only cash is accepted≥ . Only Spanish speaking was available.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was good Spanish style not hot but everything fresh and tasty The ancient house is fabulous When we arrived the owners son was having a birthday lunch, we were immediately invited.
Cons: I have no criticism at all
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Palace is astonishing. The atmosphere is so beautiful that we felt that we could live all our life there. the staff is very kind and warm. the bedroom and toilete were great and everything was so clean. The breakfast was also great. we felt that the price was cheap for the beauty and excellence of everything. we will come back for sure. Thank you so much for the beautiful moments in the Palace. Heinrich and Joana Stammen
Cons: everything was perfect. Perfect.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The architecture and age of the hotels, its refurbishment and style. Central location in historic centre.
Cons: Met expectations
7.5 Good
Pros: The hotel is in an excellent location and is comfortable but not four stars.
Cons: This hotel does not deserve the four stars displayed and does not represent good value for money.
Hotel Puerta de la Luna - Baeza - Building

Featured amenities include a 24-hour business center, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Event facilities at this hotel consist of conference space and a meeting room. 10.0 Excellent
Pros: Superb location, fantastic buildings - the photos do not do it justice !
Cons: Small car park so be prepared for on street parking which is plentiful and close by. If you have a big car you will find the narrow streets by the hotel a challenge.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful hotel, with an Italian style - centrally located with private parking. Fantastic pool, fabulous food and such friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much trouble.
Cons: There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like about this hotel and would highly recommend it to visitors to baeza.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is good/excellent unless you want lots of cooked food.
7.9 Good
Pros: Perfect location in the old town. All facilities are available. Bar, restaurant. We stayed in room 310 which was excellent. Also in town are plenty bars and restaurants. Great stay.
Cons: Parking is difficult. You need to walk about 200 meters. There is a small garage available that requires good parking skills and costs €16,50 a night. Service in the restaurant is fine. The quality of the food was not so good. The lambrack was fat and the tuna too well done.
6.7 Good
Pros: The location was excellent in the central part of the old city. It was a large hotel with a nice courtyard and pool and big room and bathroom. The buffet breakfast was very good. Two good thing about the dinner was the wait staff and the house wine by the glass.
Cons: I hardly slept because I was itchy in their bed. Unsure what was biting me. Not mosquitos. The hotel is in very narrow streets of the old city. We couldn't get the car to the hotel door and the man at reception was very unhelpful with directions. I asked about the hotel parking which I requested on booking.com and he told me that parking was 16 euros and then told me the name of the street to park in near the hotel. When I was struggling in the hotel doorway with the bags as my husband couldn't turn into the street so we unloaded the bags and I took them to the hotel. Then a woman realised what was going on, spoke good English and kindly showed my husband the hotel car park. At no time was there an offer to help with the bags to our room etc. One towel in the bathroom. Air conditioning worked in one section of the suite (not the bedroom). We also ate at the hotel, their fixed price menu. Not great. My entree was meant to be King prawns on spinach with egg. It was a big serving of soggy spinach with an egg and small prawns that I would guess had been frozen. Main meal was lamb in it's own juice. It was slow cooked lamb covered with really bad gravy. Dessert was meant to be a flan with baileys. It was like a creme caramel with a very mild baileys flavour. No wonder we were the only guests in the restaurant.
7.5 Good
Cons: The room had a bath in place but only the shower worked.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was very good with a wide range of dishes. Spacious room and very comfortable. Nice swimming pool in courtyard. Very central to visit this old town.
Cons: No particular dislikes.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: The pool closed at 8pm and opened at 11am. We had assured the 4 children they could swim at the hotel - unfortunately, we checked in right at 8pm and check out is 12pm. If we had known the pool closed at 8pm - we would have arranged to arrive earlier to take advantage of swim time
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location, beautiful building, friendly staff
Cons: Pillows were too hard but that's personal. Very badly isolated in terms of noise (water and voices)
6.3 Good
Pros: The architecture and the bed.
Cons: A/C was unusable because of the noise it made. Elevator door didn't work properly. No desk/work space in the room. Poor lighting in the bathroom.

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, a 24-hour front desk, and multilingual staff. Event facilities at this hotel consist of conference space and a meeting room. 9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean and comfortable room, very spacious, big bathroom, very close to the town center, there is a terrace with a nice view, a small swimming pool, paid safe parking, although there are plenty of spaces outside the hotek
Cons: The receptionists don't know English, but we managed to understand each other, we room next door was with a shared door, maybe not isolated enough and we could hear everything the people were talking,
7.1 Good
Pros: A nice roof terrace and swimming pool. Good location a few minutes walk from the old town centre.
Cons: No tea or coffee making facilities in the room. Both restaurants were closed on the Wednesday evening that we stayed. You had to go down to the ground floor to get drinks if you were on the roof terrace, there was no bar service.
7.9 Good
Pros: Easy to find, very nice room and amazing terace.
Cons: Our room faced the road where all trafic in and out drives by + the lights lighting up the facade were outside our window.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The place is ok, but I expected more of a 4 stars hotel
7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfast buffet was nice quality & decent choice but the coffee machine coffee was not good - you can buy a freshly made one at the bar for 1.25€ The bar prices were reasonable and there is a menu of snacks available throughout the day It is a about ten minutes to walk to the main old market square where there are plenty of places to eat & drink and if you want to visit the old university & cathedral which are beautiful.
Cons: Restaurant is only open at weekends not during the week, which is when we stayed but there is plenty of choice within easy walking distance. I fancied having dinner on the roof terrace but couldn't.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good selection for continental breakfast - a few warm items. Roof top pool was a 'forgotten' bonus after a long hot drive - especially as we were allowed to use it even tho we arrived a little bit after it usually closes - Thankyou - Would visit again
Cons: Nothing really to dislike - my main item on my wish list is tea/coffee facilities in the room but a lot in Spain now dont seem to cater for that.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is in a superb location, just on the approach to the town, with views over the countryside. It's about a 10-minute walk into the town. There is plenty of free parking just outside the hotel so we had no need to use the hotel garage. The staff were friendly and check-in was super quick. The room was spacious, had a very comfortable bed and a good shower. The aircon was reasonably good but we needed to ask for an additional card so that we could leave it on for a couple of hours in the evening as the temperatures were so high. The hotel has a small swimming pool on the roof and a lovely terrace where you can relax and look out over the campo. It's just a pity that there is no bar on the terrace as it would have been a nice place to enjoy a glass of wine in the evening. Excellent hotel at a very reasonable price.
Cons: Everything was good. Our one small complaint was that the pillows were very hard even though the bed was comfortable. And, of course, the absence of any service on the terrace.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: good, i missed the hot selection due to not looking properly, my wife and kids all found it though and really enjoyed it
5.8 Okay
Pros: At least 10 mins walk out of town. Average 4 st.ar hotel. Better ones in town. Disappointing.
Cons: No taxis !!!
7.5 Good
Pros: The view was amazing and the location to town made it easy to walk and see all the sights.
Cons: The decor in the rooms was very dark and outdated.

6.3 Good
Cons: Wifi signal pathetic. To be honest it is more accurate to say there is no wifi.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was my second stay at this hotel. I like the bar that is in the opposite building.
Cons: Neighbors from the next room came back at midnight and talked loudly.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect. Seemed to be in the middle of everything.
Cons: Nothing bad to report.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good staff . Comfortable bed hot shower, bathtub . Down 2 doors to friendly tapas bar with tasty huge tapas 2 for each drink ordered.
Cons: Linares has many one way streets and is difficult to navigate if you are late . There is nothing wrong with the hotel. The garage is hard to turn around in to get out . Reverse in to have a better exit.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location, the value for the money, the restaurant in the lobby, the comfortable bed
Cons: The air conditioning did not work and it was hot in the room at night. I would not recommend staying here in the dead of summer.
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: This hotel would not be compassionate and return our payment after booking.xom sent us to the wrong town. Beware friends of the Camino. There are 2 Linares in Spain.
7.5 Good
Pros: Close to centre of town
Cons: The room has no sound proofing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff friendly and room clean and newly decorated bathroom. Bed comfortable and excellent shower.
Cons: Unfortunately our air conditioning had a fault and vibrated very loudly every 10 minutes or so - had to turn it off and open window overlooking noisy street!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location and comfort
Cons: It was difficult getting in and out of their garage also the WiFi was not good.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: I was in the hotel for a bicycle competition. The room was generously sized and we were allowed to take our bikes into the room. The water was hot and the shower powerful. The hotel has off the street indoor parking at an extra charge. The property has central heating in the rooms, which kept the room warm and was perfect for drying wet clothes (it rained the two days I was there).
Cons: It's not that I didn't like it, but the property is a little tired and old fashioned, however in some ways that counts in its favour. The car park is tight if you have a big car or SUV/ 4x4 to park.

7.1 Good
Pros: Modern furniture in an old building. Good price for money taking into account that breakfast was included
Cons: The room was extremely cold even with the heating on. The bathroom is not separated from the room so you get all the humidity in the room when you have a shower.
3.3 Mediocre
Pros: Breakfast average.
Cons: Hotel tired and grimy, paint peeling and badly sealed tiles, broken lights, jets on jacuzzi were filthy. Water went from hot to cold in shower which you have to hold by hand. Not a suite by anyone's standards. Whole hotel could do with a wash and repaint. Receptionist surly and not friendly. Expensive for a hotel that is below the standard of any I have stayed in.
7.1 Good
Pros: Good location for exploring Baeza, quiet, within easy walking distance of the bus station.
Cons: Lighting in room was inadequate.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Perfectly situated near the city centre. Small pool which was great for cooling off after a day spent sightseeing. Baeza is a great base for visiting Ubeda, Cazorla, & Baeza itself. The rooms were very good & spotless. It’s an old building with lots of original features, but with modernised rooms.
Cons: The bathroom was a bit disconcerting.....too many mirrors & clear glass to be private.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were helpful and friendly. Car parking was easy in the street just along from the hotel. The room was quite quirky with the bedroom on a mezzanine level.
Cons: No room safe. Bath took ages to fill because the only means is by using the shower rose. TV controller was defective and couldn't be used.
