10.0 Excellent
Pros: We have been enjoying great hospitality. Rosa baked us a cake - delicious lemon tart. We enjoyed a hearty breakfast - sicilian specialities, coffee and italian sweets. Room was clean and specious, even better than we expected. With that money you really can't complaint as facilities are good. Location was great too, the heart of the city.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rosa is the best host ever! She's extremely kind and helpful. She brought us plenty of croissant and cannoli (besides others like cheese, etc.) for breakfast. When she had more free rooms, she even offered those to us, despite we did not book and pay for those. She let us stay longer on the checkout day, did not insist on any exact checkout time. Excellent hospitality!! :)
Cons: Rosa's English could be a bit better. But she speaks basic English and we could always understand each other.:)
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely owner, delicious breakfast, good point for trip to Etna and Taormina

Pros: Rosa was very friendly and welcoming, very reactive, she helped us with many advices! The breakfast was really amazing...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rosa is an extremely hospitable host. The breakfast and cake and coffee on arrival was extra good
Cons: There was a high up window in the room which you can't see out of. This had to be closed at night to keep noise out. This wasn't a problem as there was a ceiling fan. We were there in summer . It was cooler at night as the town is at a higher altitude than the coast
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very convenient near the bus and train and centre
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Rosa was amazing and the breakfast delicious and plentiful. Rosa was very generous with her advice. Location was excellent for our Etna hike on the North side.

Cons: Nothing. Our air conditioning broke and we noticed in the middle of the night when we woke up hot. Cons: All was good
6.7 Good
Pros: Room was great with a nice view to the Etna. The receptionist was very friendly and gave us some good advice on an excellent restaurant. Parking was also available for our mini-van car. Good location for bikers who are interested to bike to Etna Nord and drive to Etna South with departing with the bike from Zafferana to Etna South.
Cons: Light was missing in the bathroom, the fan did not work properly and there was no possibility to lay down the towels. You had to put them over the shower doors. Breakfast could have been better, not a lot of choice
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very pleasant spa (jaccuzzi, sauna, hammam...) Brand new and very clean room, with a beautiful view on the mountain. Good breakfast on the morning. Parking covered and securised. Friendly staff.
Cons: Nothing (maybe the bathroom ground slippery when wet...)
10.0 Excellent

6.7 Good
Pros: good room breakfast ok but a lot of industrial things
Cons: I'm disapointed about the fact that nobody informed us that spa was an extra charge : nor at check-in, nor at the moment at the reservation of the hammam, nor at the spa, nor in the room on the directory such a suprise to see the charge on the bill I would have been happier with the hotel without this

Pros: La casa e carina. Posione per l etna e ideale

Pros: This place was very nice, good atmosphere. The casa Arrigo is part of vila Neri resort, which is a great place with a beautiful restaurant and spa. Staying in Casa Arrigo you can use the facilities of vila Neri. Restaurant is great! Best breakfast ever! Mario the guy who works there is wonderful. We had a great stay!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good wifi signal in room and TV channels. Room done daily. Breakfast has - scrambled eggs, fried bacon and fennel sausages, cheese and salami table, champagne and great selection of sweets
Cons: Nil
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: Location is good if you like to be in the countryside off the beaten track. Nothing much to like about the rooms themselves.
Cons: Upon arrival, we were greeted by a worker from the adjacent hotel. She showed us our room and also mentioned that the automatic gate does not work and that we needed to close it manually - it was raining that night so we had to get wet to open it and close it. Unfortunately this was not the only issue but a sign of things to come. She immediately left and we realized that one of the lights in the room was not working - bulb was out. Moreover the room did not match the images we saw when we booked. Floor tiles were antique, but completely worn out and not fit for purpose - they felt dirty and were uncomfortable to walk on barefoot. The bathroom sink and shower had very slow drains. The furniture was antique, but in need of maintenance - I almost cut my hand with the wardrobe handle. The double bed was two single beds placed together with a gap in between - no topper. Decor was shabby and included odd-looking photos on the walls. Breakfast was very scarce - some bread and 3 pieces of cold-cuts with some cake options - however very basic in comparison to other places we visited (which costed less). Worst of all however, was the fact that the room was an interconnecting room separated by a door. We didn't think much of this as it is normal to have such options. However we were up till about 1am hearing the conversation from the neighboring room - the door did not have any seals and you could even see the light through it. The next morning we were again woken up at 6:30am because of the neighbors alarm ringing - which we could hear so clearly that we thought it was ours. When we contacted the owner, an old lady who is there in the mornings, she was quite rude and said it is not her fault that we were too "sensitive" to these noises. After explaining all of the above to the owner- she still did not offer any form of compensation and didn't speak to us again. - Honestly - avoid this place. For the money you pay you can get so much better elsewhere.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All perfectly. A good place to explore the region of Etna. Great breakfast. There is a swing for children and a swimming pool.
Cons: There is no refrigerator in the room, there is only a common outside. But this is not a big problem.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view of Mount Etna from the property. Use of some of the superb facilities at the main hotel over the road. Lovely features in the old building which was our apartment.
Cons: As with other country properties we have stayed in on this trip, this one was very difficult to find using satnav. We had to phone twice to get directions as there were no signs to it from the main road from Taormina. Toilet was some way from the bedroom and up a few steps, which was awkward in the night.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The property is gorgeous with lovely views of Mt. Etna and the surrounding country side. The staff were very welcoming and helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Loved it. Gorgeous and cool. Great views of etna. Lovely pool. Breakfast amazing.
Cons: Nothing!!!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The serenity of the property, interrupted only by the sounds of roosters crowing, goats bleating, birds chirping met its match with the scent of garlic, tomatoes, cut grass and air. What a delicious treat for your senses. It managed to maintain its integrity, whether hosting a few guests or managing an Italian wedding!
Cons: I would have liked a better sound system and good Italian music. We wanted to dance......
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Located in perfect surroundings on the Etna hillside, among wine fields where they produce the Etna Rosso red wine. The pool area was very nice. Large pool and only a few guests Good restaurant both for the breakfast serving and dinner. The fridge in the room was broken at arrival, but that was immediately fixed.
Cons: The room has an open loft, but the air conditioning was located in the lower part of the room making it hard to have a good temperature overall in the room. The staff seemed very busy, but friendly and helpful
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The property is surrounded by lovely scenery and the grounds are well kept and very nice. The pool was very clean and of good size and dept and the pool area is spacious and comfortable with sunbeds. The staff were very helpful and friendly and always trying their best to accommodate for our needs. The rooms were not so spacious but generally comfortable and clean.
Cons: We had dinner twice. The 1st time was a bit disappointing. We then tried it another time during our stay and it was definitely better and good. However to be honest it still didn't meet our standards and we therefore preferred dining out at restaurants in the village of Linguaglossa where we found some restaurants with a much better quality of food. Breakfast was generally good with a moderate selection of food. However portions were limited and most of the days we needed to ask the staff to bring out more bread/milk/ fruit etc as once finished from the table it was not automatically replaced. Needless to say however that we never found any objection from the staff and they always got us was we ask for. Also, the venue organises wedding receptions. During our stay there a wedding reception was held and the pool could not be used in the afternoon/evening time (we were not informed beforehand). The music was quite loud and it only stopped around 1am!! We found this quite disrespectful in general as the loud noise could be heard from all the rooms and it was not even taken into consideration that we had very young children and babies that needed their rest. On another note we requested a cot in our room for our 10 month daughter. This was set up with no problems and was good and clean with bed sheets. However I found it quite unfair to charge us 10 euros extra per night for the cot.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The hotel has beautiful surroundings and the restaurant is situated right at the pool where you eat under the wines. Massimo who waits at the restaurant is very nice - the kids helped him out at the restaurant and he was so generous!! Thank you, Massimo! Very good food at restaurant - although you have to let staff know if you’re dining there.
Cons: The hotel claims to have a soccer field and also posts pictures of it. This is UNTRUE. The field belongs to someone else and can only be rented for the price of 50 € for one hour (yes, that’s right!). Our kids were very disappointed. The rooms are very dark and you really don’t want to spend any time there. Fridge warm. Kids are in shaky bunk beds on lower floor and there is a double bed on top floor. Air con can not cool down top floor.. Hotel claims to have rabbits and goats that kids can pet. We saw the goats, but kids were not allowed near rabbits. There is a dog locked all day in a shed near the garage. Not even for guarding - just sitting there all day with no purpose.. Made us very sad :(( location is far from everything. If you’re going to Etna south side (which most tourists are) this is not the place to stay.
7.1 Good
Pros: Wonderful scenery, authentic experience.
Cons: Very hard to find, you have to use navigation from Linguaglossa, or you will end up in dead ends. Hotel staff does not speak good English.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This is a really pretty property in extensive and well-managed gardens. The draw was the pool, which was great for swimming and diving - 2.5 metres deep at one end, and around 20 metres in length. We ate lunch there and thought the food was high quality. Breakfast was simple but nice - coffee, a few pastries, fruit, bread with cheese with ham
Cons: perhaps provide milk with the cereal for breakfast. Airport shuttle was quite expensive (90 euros one-way) but in fairness it was a large mini bus so will have been costly to run.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Food was excellent. Surrounding tranquillity was to die for.
Cons: WiFi was not available in room
6.7 Good
Pros: The grounds are beautiful! Rooms were clean and was ideal for the kids. The staff were very helpful.
Cons: Although the staff were very helpful, there were things that would not make me go back : Breakfast: fruit was not served on all days, amounts were strict to the number of guests or less, 8 slices of ham, 8 cheese etc...we were constantly asking for some more bread, some more cheese, another croissant, 4 eggs...etc Towels: we had to pay for using pool towels...not a deposit, like in any other hotel in the world. Late checkout: on the last day we had agreed that we vacate the rooms but we could use the facilities and stay a bit longer...after some time the owner changed her mind and wanted us out. We felt that this was not accommodating, especially when we had agreed otherwise and the place was empty so we were not being of any inconvenience to anyone. Pool: pool was cleaned with chemicals during the time where the kids were swimming, so we had to wait around for an hour before using it again. The area is full of beautiful agriturismi so we will look for an alternative next time we visit sicily.
7.5 Good
Pros: Lovely little place within Etna's wine region. You need a car to be able to stay here as it is in the middle of nowhere. We arrived mid-afternoon, during a thunderstorm in August. Unfortunately our room was stull being cleaned by the chamber maid. However, we were able to sit in shelter on our terrace and my husband was able to purchase some of their own produced wine. Once the room was clean and we could move our bags in, the rain had subsided, so we moved to sit around the pool. The pool attendant was very quick to wipe a couple of sunbeds dry for us, although with little sun we only sat by the pool for a short while. The following morning as we were checking out after breakfast we saw some families with children making full use of the large pool area. Our room was on two levels, with the actual bed itself on a mezzanine. Downstairs we had a wardrobe, another couple of beds, table and chairs and bathroom. The grounds within which this is set in, is very pleasant, with small olive groves. We had an evening meal, sat outside under a lovely arbour. The waiter was friendly, efficient, explaining different dishes and wines and our food was lovely. We only stopped here the one night as we were travelling around the area, but worth the one night stop f you are exploring the wineries.
Cons: Lighting could've been better in the room.
7.5 Good
Pros: We really like our stay at Borgata Baldassa friendly staff and cleanliness, wifi service , breathtaking views
Cons: shower size is very small

Pros: Excellent place with swimming pool with both Etna and sea views from our room windows. Completely peaceful holidays with very charming people running the place! Their wine is excellent too. Breakfasts and dinners were filling and liked very much by kids and adults alike.
Cons: Nothing really..
6.3 Good
Pros: The location was really perfect and the pool was also very nice. We had a perfect winery tour & tasting from Guido - perfect English and he could answer all our questions. Breakfast was alright nothing special, but ok.
Cons: We had a strange Welcome, luckily one of he owners was there who Made it a little lees awkward. We got the key and Made a reservation for dinner in the restaurant the same night. Dinner was very dissappointing compaired to all the dinners we had before this was one of the most expensive ones but the baddest. Quality was not special, within an our we’ve had 3 dishes. Other people who came in had in half an out 4dishes. At breakfast we were Welcome friendly but I think his name was Robert, walked around during breakfast as if he was checking us. Really unconfortable. Use of swimming pool was perfect except for the sun beds, only 4 of whom 2 are totally broken. To be honest we recommend the winery tour and tasting, but not really the accommodation.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The food was good in the evenings, one dinner topped off with the wine tasting hosted by the vineyard owners. Amazing views of Etna (while she erupted!) and enjoyed the pool area. Simple breakfast, helpful staff, good location for Etna & other vineyards.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Robert was helpful, polite and accommodating. The tour of the property’s wine making facility was informative and appreciated. The Agriturismo is in a magnificent vineyard setting with showcase old vines trellised beautifully.
Cons: Our room was lacking in power points to charge all our devices. We’re cyclists and everything needs overnight charging. Wifi in our room kept dropping out.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location to access Etna Nord and Taormina and the town of Linguaglossa was a wonderful surprise.
Cons: The vineyard with both Mt Etna and the sea in the background is perfect. The pool was clean and a perfect break from the normal running around of international travel.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: very nice view from room also swimming pool staff very friendly
Cons: need some facilities and bigger fridge
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautifully maintained and very friendly staff and owners, windows look out onto the vineyards. Comfortable and large suite. Heat was needed in this cool rainy May and worked well. Short drive to Etna and restaurants and vineyard visits
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Waking up and closing the day with stunning views from the dining/breakfast room and vineyards on mount Etna, the very personal touch of Mr Robert with a gentle Basil Fawlty-touch, clean and accommodating facilities and, above all, the outstanding wines, from powerful oak-aged Orpheus, to the delicate and deep 1815 reds, to the rich yet whimsical whites.

Pros: B&B Don Diego is an amazing apartment at a walking distance from the centre of Linguaglossa, and very close to a beautiful park Villa dei Vespri Siciliani. The facilities were clean and provided with everything you may need, including a computer and food for breakfast. Marco was very nice and ready to help.
Cons: Some days Internet didn't work all the time, but it wasn't a big concern for me and I didn't complain; I'm sure that Marco would have fixed it if I had asked him to. The check out time was 10 am, which was fine to me but other people may not like it.
