Awesome location close to the metro and supermarket, super clean, friendly service. Positive experience in general. Thanks a lot!
Bathroom is located separately. And it's a bit noisy during the night. But it's not a big trouble.

Looking from outside, this place didn’t seem impressive. On entering the apartments, it was a surprise. Rooms are clean, well kept. Location is great and accessible to all places. Just outside the part Kent’s is a bus stop and a metro station.
There was no hoarding, banner or signboard

The Bed and Breakfast is one floor of a block of flats. There are multiple private bedrooms and a shared living space, kitchen and 3 bathrooms. The decor is beautiful and clean, and very cosy. Breakfast included bread, ham, cheese, croissants, fruit, coffee, juice, teas and cereal. The location is great if you buy a metro ticket for around £6 every day, you can access most parts of Lisboa. The location is safe and near to shops. This accommodation is fantastic value for money.
Finding the apartments could have been a little easier, maybe a bigger sign outside and a more detailed description that the apartments take up only one section of the building. Other than this the stay was perfect,.
Affordable, helpful, clean and homely

Great location (metro, buses, railway, cafe, supermarket) just under the windows Great accomodation. Good enough breakfast, the citchen is available all day and night long Very helpful stuff with perfect English
Construction works in the building. If you want to take a rest during the day it is not possible.

Really awesome! Thank you for everything. Manuel and all time is very kindly and nice. Room and bed is very good. Fantastic breakfast. Location is fantastic. Around is metro and bus station.
The position is very good, you are close to the metro and close there you will any kind of amenities you need. The B&B is comfortable and the area in common with the guests looks nice. Ana and Rute where always kind and helpful.
The location was right in the center of town an near the metro. Very easy access to the important parts of Lisbon
The place was difficult to find. It would be nice if they had a sign at the bottom of the building so that it's easier to locate.
Location. The owner is very helpful and ready to support regress of the inconvenience it may cause her.
It could be a little cleaner. The shower could also do with a quick repair.
From the moment we arrived Ana was the most gracious host, we absolutely loved our stay! We had one of the rooms with a bathroom, but would definitely book one of the rooms with a shared bathroom. The rooms were exceptionally clean and the location was an easy subway ride to the heart of Lisbon. I read a lot of the reviews, so we knew exactly what to expect. Breakfast was a nice start to the day and sitting around the common area or on the balcony was wonderful. Beforehand I had questions and they were answered very promptly and accurately. Thank you!!!
Very friendly and helpful hosts with good advices Nice connection to public transport (metro, buses...) Nice rooms
(Own Bathroom would be more comfortable -> but you know that before and there are enough bathrooms, you have no waiting time)
Location, property very well organized, fantastic personnel and owner- great job! Property is very close to museums and Metro. Elevator is great for older couples with moving difficulties. Ready to return to Lisbon for a vacation

The staff was really nice and really heplful when we needed. The bathrooms were always very clean and the location is great. No too far from the airport, and only a few underground stops from the city centre. It's perfect if you are staying for 1 night or 2.
It is near a very busy street, so during the night, it gets a bit hard to get a good deep sleep because of the cars.
Nice rooms, I really liked the interior!
I was locked out of the B&B a couple of times. The keycard wasn’t working for me.
The shower was so powerful, the place was very clean and staff very friendly
I didn’t like the location, unfortunately its situated in between two construction sites and also off a really busy road - because of this I found it really really hard to sleep! I also didn’t think the breakfast options were too good, I don’t eat meat or cheese and the only cereal option was cornflakes and the fruit wasn’t too fresh
Nice people with a lot of information. Good stay nearby metro and train station. The room was very clean and lovely
Everything was okay
OMG! Where to start??? Someone has put a great amount of effort into planning all aspects of the Republica B&B experience. And it shows. Perfect location, literally 50m from the Metro with easy access to the airport and to downtown sights. Liked that the place was in a quieter and more peaceful locale than hectic downtown Lisbon; beautiful park directly across the street at Campo Pequeno (which is a stunning building, by the way and has a good food court to boot). My room was extremely spacious with tons and tons of closets and shelves; en suite bathroom was modern and well-fitted with a fantastic shower head. Internet was lightning fast. The beautiful common room has a cozy living room atmosphere and a balcony overlooking the Campo Pequeno. All the staff I encountered were exceptional, especially Ana who is a total gem; friendly, helpful, obviously very interested in the guests. She really makes a huge contribution to the overall experience. If you have the time, I would definitely recommend day trips to Obidos and to Sesimbra (gorgeous beaches and wonderful seafood; must try the choco frito (fried cuttlefish), a local specialty). I did both DIY easily by bus, each about an hour away from Lisbon
Nada. Absolutely nada!
The location is perfect. Just next to the metro station. Ecxellent breakfast. Great staff
The place doesn't look like the photos.
Ana and Manuel are very friendly, kind and caring hosts. The communication before the trip and during our stay was very efficient. We got information about the city, interesting places and how to get there. Breakfasts were delicious with a large choice of pastry. The room was big with a balcony, neat and clean, very comfortable beds. Also the 3 shared bathrooms were absolutely clean. B&B is in a perfect location - super connection to the city centre and airport - bus stop in front of the B&B.
Everything was perfect!
We like everything here.. no comment
Only we don’t like is sharing bathroom.. others everything perfect..
The staff was absolutely lovely and very willing to suggest places to go or assist with how to navigate the city. The property was clean and of good standard, and the other guests were nice. Would absolutely recommend if you are visiting Lisbon.
Very good shower (in suite)
Anna is fantastic host, always ready to help and give recommendations. Location is also great: metro, buses to any direction, also train station to Sintra in 5 minutes walk. Breakfast is good. Rooms clean and with everything you need. Super enjoyed staying here, absolutely will recommend this hotel to anyone.
The comfortable room, the kitchen and the salon, the small terrace where we had breakfast and especially the kindness of the staff! Not to forget thec eccelent location near the metro and the train station...
Manuel, Ana, Sarah is very helpful with everything we ask from them. Very considerate to let us stay as our flight is still evening. Spotless clean room and toilet same goes with the common area. Very comfortable bed and pillows that you dont want to get out of bed. We really enjoyed our stay with them and will come back for sure if we visit Lisbon again. Train is like 20 steps away very practical the location. And ofcourse the breakfast is perfect!
Nothing
The staff is so friendly, they are always willing to help you out whenever you have questions. They did everything in their power to make it comfortable for us. Many thanks'
Manuel and Ana are wonderful hosts, kind, friendly and very helpful. Manuel was extremely prompt and responsive in all our message exchanges, and gave great tips for sightseeing and moving around the city. I felt I could count on him. While the place is not in the city center, it is in a perfect location nonetheless, right next to Campo Pequeno metro station, numerous bus stops, as well as the Aerobus stop, which takes you to the airport. The place is also close to NOVA University, and the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundation. I would definitely go back!
They are nice people, a friendly team, trying to do their best. They are giving nice tips about everything. Place is located just next to a transfer hub, metro, busses, taxi, e bikes escooters etc.. It is a safe and clean place. I liked it.
Very nice personel, location near underground station. Quiet, nice and clean place.
Staff - Ana and Manuel were very friendly. Always asking if everything is good, giving a lot if tips for a tourist like me. Honestly, they are the only Portuguese I know, and impression they made is spread to the whole nation! Spacious room with balcony - good spot. Location - 2 minutes from metro station! Good breakfast and what I loved most is bread and ham - very good quality. Fresh and tasty.
Extremely cold when you arrive at night. But you can be warmed up with conditioning.
I had a working meeting in the area and República Bed & Breakfast was an excellent choice. The place was stylish, had everything necessary, lovely breakfast, great staff (thank you, Anna and Manuel) and fantastic views from the balconies. The Gulebkian museum is 10 minutes away and the metro right there. Please note that if your main thing is to visit central Lisbon and stay close to bars and restaurants, this is not the place to choose.
Room is full of light, wide view ,breakfast area warm feel like home ,staff very nice and helpful ,supermarket ,metro nearside is convenient!
Fantastic B&B very nice welcoming very clean. Staff are lovely nothing is to much trouble and breakfast is great. Love being able to control the tempture of the room. Brilliant location and you couldn't get closer to the metro. 10 out of 10 we will definitely be back next yr.
Manuel & Ana takes a great care of their guests to have a very cozy and very pleasant stay. Clean rooms, good breakfast to start your day in this vibrant and lovely city. For people that like to walk - central part of city is 40 min distance walk away or max 15 min metro drive with line change. Very good access to Airport from Saldanha metro near by.
It's a bit noisy due to having one of the main streets near by but didn't bother a lot after long day to fall asleep.
We feel at home. The staff is fantastic. The facilities are excellent. Breakfast is very good. Nothing is missing. When I go to Lisbon, I already know where to stay.
Lovely place, everything was so good. Clean, friendly and comfortable. Thank you so much and a lot of love from Ukraine. We wish you a good tourists there and all the best. Its really very good place to stay !
Everything perfect
The best was the view from the window:)) Cosy atmosphere...
Such a noisy street:(( Though it was 4th floor...
It is amazing! I am speechless! Manuel and Ana are great and I truly felt like being home. I would for sure come back, and I can´t even describe what my view from the main double bed room looked like, facing Campo Pequeno Shopping Mall with its amazing Architecture.
Everything was perfect, from cleanliness, to Customer service and even the Property artistic style, room decoration, big balconies with excellent views and a truly excellent breakfast.
Our room was the suit number 3 (with private bathroom and balcony), a very comfortable, big and cozy room. The bathroom was really big and clean. The owners of the B&B are a very friendly and lovely couple, who helped us with everything we needed. Breakfast was included. Moreover, the hotel was next to a metro station (Campo Pequeno), very well connected with the city centre. We will be back and we totally recommend the place.
The staff were wonderful. Friendly and helpful. Makes such a difference when you’re travelling in a strange place.
Nothing that the staff could do anything about; but one night noisy guests came in late making enough noise to disturb sleep -perhaps there could be a sign up asking guests to keep volume levels down and respect other guests.
Beautiful atmosphere, friendly staff, good quality breakfast. The view was nice.
Personally I would suggest more vegetable for breakfast.
Where do I even start? The place looked nice on the pictures, but in real is even better! Great host, great staff, super comfortable room, super clean bathrooms, perfect location... And the list goes on :) Thank you Manuel once again for everything! There's no doubt i'll be staying at your place throughout my next visit in Lisboa!
It's not that I don't like it, I am very used to city traffic, but it's good to note that the B&B is on a main street and you do get the noise from the street. For me it was totally fine, just wanted to mention it.
