Family friendly, beautiful, good value...
Great location. Rooms very nice, comfortable, perfect for family. Staff very friendly & helpful.
Breakfast was disappointing. “Heated” pool was too cold to enjoy, unfortunately.
Thank you to the staff...
The staff were friendly and helpful, the location is very good, whilst the facilities were clean and comfortable. The bed was also very comfortable. Breakfast service obviously has changed due to COVID protocols but it was tasty and there was plenty to eat/drink.
We asked for a double bed (rather than 2 single beds combined), the only one available was in a smaller room, so the room felt cramped compared to our expectations. The hotel room window could not be opened at all due to a lock. The water from the shower was very hot on first use, and the temperature control did not appear to work, but both appeared to work better on second use. The shower guard did not stop water very effectively, so the bathroom floor needed to be mopped with a towel after each shower. There were no dressing gowns or slippers (this is not a significant point - and possibly a covid measure? - but it does make a difference to a guest's perception of a hotel).
Although the location was good,...
I like the location and the facilities in and around the hotel . The receptionist was polite and helpful on arrival .
The breakfast was just a nightmare. They are were no vegan or gluten free options ( it was cold and the quality was poor ). The maid was rude .The room wasn't cleaned while we were there, only the towels and sheets were changed but the floor was dirty throughout. The swimming pool was very small and not very practical, which was disappointing - as was the room service. For example, when I ordered a glass of orange juice I was told that I had to go down to reception to collect it.
Clean, compact yet a little...
Bathroom was well designed. Room and bathroom cleaned excellently each day. Rooftop pool a lovely and clean and tidy space.
Staff were quite unpleasant to deal with. Room was very small and dark. The hotel was very far from the main tourist area - a 45 mins walk or 15 mins metro ride.
Don’t waste your money staying...
Not a lot!
Do not book this hotel - just some points worth noting: The staff are so rude, we waited multiple times to talk to the reception staff but they ignored us and wouldn’t even give us some more complimentary water after all the shops had shut at 9pm. The breakfast is atrocious. Cold cuts and stale bread. We asked the breakfast staff for the bread to be toasted and they said this was not possible despite there being a toaster in the corner of the room. They also kept bringing us ham despite us advising we was vegetarian. There is basically a building site next door and a crane was swinging over the top of the hotels pool which was very dangerous during the day. This wasnt know at the time of booking and we specifically booked this hotel for the pool! I have tried contacting the hotel multiple times following my stay but my complaint hasn’t been taken seriously and emails have been ignored. Very poor customer service.
Very good
Clean ness and the staff
Superb
Nice hotel, very clean. Great swimming pool
Monotonous breakfest
Almost perfect
At first glance this is a lovely hotel. The outdoor pool on the 8ᵗʰ floor was open, and provided some much needed aquatic exercise. The bar and breakfast was well executed in the pandemic era. I will even forgive them the slight over-use of environmentally damaging cling film at breakfast, only because I have experienced far worse elsewhere. I am also (in a geekish way) very impressed with their Thyssen lifts; silent, smooth and very fast.
In our room the WiFi gave us 5mbps download on a stop/start basis, not enough to watch english TV, or even browse Facebook. Parking was expensive at €30 per night and too narrow to fit our rented Skoda Fabia into, so didn’t incur the parking fee in the end. On-street parking nearby was free and proved to be secure. But the biggest gripe was the air conditioning in the room, which had no remote, and the only working control buttons were ON/OFF and fan speed. We were freezing cold with it ON, and sweltering hot with it OFF. Sleep eluded us both.
Exceptional
Central location
N/a
Very good
Excellent pool. Good location. Good breakfast - staff trying their best during coronavirus times. Shower was great and room very clean with enough space for clothes in wardrobe. Would definitely stay here again and we really enjoyed our stay.Thank you!
Minor issue of Room not sound proof - woken up by neighbouring rooms doors banging shut. Also could hear neighbouring rooms bathroom/taps/shower very loudly.
Very good
The pool was very nice and wasn’t too busy at all. Very close to the metro which takes you quickly into central Lisbon.
Breakfast options were limited.
Very pleadeamt
Polite helpful staff. Great location. Nice clean rooms
Nothing.
Love Lisbon
I liked everything, the staff, location is good, especially if any like to go shopping, 13 floor mall around the corner, and metro line to the airport stops across the street and traveling by the metro is very cheap in Lissabon, again thanks Lissabon for great time.
Nothing pop's to mind
Bad experience
Swimming pool was absolutely great ! And a man who was taking care about this part of services
Well I m often traveler and for the last 20 years it was my first bed experience . They put a bed in front of air conditioning, it was impossible to sleep without in a night of +30 c and obviously I got sick in one night with otitis . Stuff is unfriendly serving breakfast , so it was a bit high expectation which fall apart and more over too much price for this crappy service . When I asked for the reclamation book , person told me that they no longer have it . Just advice guys , it’s way better to resolve this type of situation internally with reclamation book than read it here for all the travelers . Hope hotel will have desire to improve BR
Excellent location, staff and cleanliness. The rooms are well-sized and nicely designed, great beds and a big bathroom with a well-pressured shower. The hotel lounge and dining hall have somewhat of a 90's aesthetic - we found it charming in the sea of recent hotels looking all identical and immemorable. The rooftop pool is also well-sized and never crowded - an amazing asset for hot summer days, enjoyed it as much as possible. Plenty of good restaurants nearby, as well as El Corte Ingles department store, the Gulbenkian museum & garden and the gorgeous Eduardo VII park with further restaurants and cafes inside. Overall it's a very beautiful and posh area of Lisbon, lovely to walk around and explore. Metro station is just across the street from the hotel entrance, but aside from the metro really all of central Lisbon and the airport are easily reachable from this location for just a few euros by Uber. The small supermarket and pastry cafe across the street were also quite handy. Because of all this, we loved our stay and thought it was adequately priced. I also have to commend the staff for being extremely professional with Covid measures and ensuring a clean and safe stay for us.
The breakfast was quite modest, though sufficient. Some of the chairs by the pool and the biggest parasol could have been put to clean professionally or replaced. Despite best efforts (and still managing to turn it on), we never understood how the airconditioning settings in the room really worked.
Breakfast was served really good, varieties, good staff. Quiet room except you can hear noise and trucks sounds especially at midnight.
The noise from outside, trucks especially in the middle of the night
The room was on the 8th floor (the last one), had a big balcony, and was wonderfully quiet. Everything was clean. We had enough TV channels. The shower had good water pressure (btw, it's a bathtub!). And the hotel is just in front of the metro! So we are actually close to almost everywhere in Lisbon. Outside, we can see and easily reach Gulbenkian and El Corte Ingles. We also enjoyed a Burger restaurant nearby. Breakfast is basic continental buffet, and it was enough for us. There is a swimming pool on our floor, open 365 days a year (according to what they told us), and a small sauna room next to it (it fits only 2 persons).
The shower/bath stall's glass didn't stay in place - it kept touching us as we showered... (but that should be easy to fix for the hotel). The bed was a little hard and uncomfortable for us. My partner complained about the sauna, as it's only a small room with no other amenities, and there's no privacy (the glass door leads to a public space next to the swimming pool). And we really disliked the coffee at breakfast. :/ It's better to drink it outside at any coffee shop.
Hotel was very clean and modern. Staff were very friendly and helpful. We were staying in Lisbon for a 30th Birthday and they had left us some champagne and Wine in our room as a gift. Very thoughtful and a lovely touch
Had everything I needed
Nothing
Receptionist was very friendly, nice pool on the top floor, good breakfasts (many meals to choose), pretty fine design, very comfortable bed
Mould on the bathroom window.
Location was great, right next to a shopping mall, underground and a 25 minute walk to Lisbon City Centre with attractions to visit along the way. Staff were friendly and helpful.
Breakfast selection was limited and there was construction work ongoing which I did not know about and would begin about 7am.
Very good hotel for those travelling for work and visiting Lisbon during their vacation - large and modern rooms, good breakfast, swimming pool and sauna. Additionally, I would like to thank the staff of the hotel for help. Special thanks to Ricardo, hee helped a lot with a room to meet my needs.
Hotel was extremely clean, very good location, metro right across the road, very comfortable.
Breakfast was good but could have been better, juice appeared to be watered down, bacon quite greasy, could do with more of a selection of cheeses, eggs, no tea/coffee facilities in rooms, it would take very little to make this a four star hotel. Would stay here again.
The breakfast was good, the problem was the room was to hot and you dont have a controller to manager the heater.
The mattress was comfy.
The Street is too noisy, the smell of the perfume in the lobby and the bathtub was small.
Location, need and tidy, good and experience staff with speaking different languages, very helpful to sort out any prob.
Property should have USB ports so any one can charge their phones. Guest should not get hassle to find adopter, bathtub should be little bit bigger in size. It’s small. air condition control should be in room not on reception. Room was dam warm for me and I can’t do nothing.
Considering it was the new year's eve the price/quality ratio was very good. The included breakfast was also a very nice one. Location is very convenient (right in front of one of the S. Sebastião metro exits)
The breakfast area can get a bit crowded. Besides that nothing in particular to say.
Breakfast good as was location
Nothing
It was clean and good staffs
Breakfast was good but I have a suggestion, every day four or five different pork coldcuts (Kielbasa) were on the table and also potato omelette mixed with pork coldcuts, As you know somebody doesn’t eat pork coldcuts or eat Halal coldcuts, my recommendation is to add chicken or beef coldcuts.
Good breakfast, and bathtub. Location is great to travel.
A little bit small room
Good
Good breakfast, and bathtub. Location is great to travel.
A little bit small room
Reception
Parking is too small to park a car so we were told to park outside. We brought a parking ticket but got fined because it was only for unloading
Very nice room, clean and nice. Very good breakfast
Everything was ok
Was very beautiful and nice hotel, good layout, design and the heated pool upstairs was very nice
No complains
Very friendly staff. Central location..loads to do and see in lisbon..
Would enjoy more vegan options on breakfast menu.
Everything
Was amazing best service friendly staff amazing cleaning bedrooms and facilities all the best thank you ☺️
The room was loud despite windows being closed. Housekeeping did not clean the room, only put the same bedsheets back on the bed from the day prior, but did not change to new bedsheets everyday. Also the pool was not heated despite being told that it will be heated. Finally the airport shuttle service was not included as advertised when booking the room, but rather was an additional charge.
The property is right near the Metro and it also had good facilities like swimming pool and Sauna both were neat and clean.
The morning breakfast could have more options. Apart for from 1 -2 dishes nothing was as per hotel standards. But manageable.
Fantastic breakfast, great location, comfortable beds, clean rooms...
Central location near the metro, with a direct line to the airport. I was able to get in my room even though I arrived quite early.
A bit of noise woke me up in the morning.
Location and staff at reception were excellent.
Getting charged for the bottles of water from the minibar as I thought they were free. Turns out that they are only free on your first night but nobody told me.
Friendly staff
No toiletries Shower in bath Weird smell in the room
We’ve been staying in other 4 stars hotels and weren’t that good as Sana Hotel. Breakfast amazing, staff very friendly and going the extra mile to accomodate us. Location is excellent, right across the metro station ,close to city center. Well done everyone!!! Will 100% recommend the hotel, very food value for money.
Unable to control temperature in room Cracked plates, cups etc in breakfast room
Good location , nice on top floor, nice size room comfortable bed and a nice bathroom ( with a bath) after changing it from one that didn’t have one .. rooftop pool v good and sauna .. reception staff and bar / room service man very helpful ..
breakfast could of been a bit better variety on the hot choice side. A tip - bring or buy a mug as the cups are small. There is no standard kettle in room but you can request one .. I had access to a coffee machine ..
The hotel was easy to access on the underground from both the airport and the centre of Lisbon. About 20 minutes from both. A boutique hotel with small rooms, but clean, efficient and good breakfast. Great service from all the staff and located in a quieter area of Lisbon. It took us just over an hour to walk to Baixa (the centre) but 20 minutes on the underground (blue line) from Cais de Sodre for 1.50 euros.
Nothing
Very nice hotel, quiet atmosphere and friendly staff, especially Antonio in the bar. Pool side service was excellent.
A bottle of water labelled as complimentary was in our room upon arrival which was then charged off my card after we checked out which was disappointing as I was charged 4 euro for a small bottle of water.
Everything else
Bar food wasn't good
Everything
No issues
The staff did change our room for one with more space
Generally customer service does not seem to be a priority.
the swimming pool, the staff and the location are excellent¡¡
.Even considering the price increase in Lisbon, we have found it a bit expensive. The service and location are very good but breakfast can improve a lot as well as the decoration of the rooms. I would start by removing the carpets ...
The location was good , the reception staff were all excellent, the rooms were clean and comfortable, the breakfast was above adequate if airplane spotting is your hobby you are in heaven , and the rooftop pool really makes a hell of a treat
I have no criticisms of this hotel
The personnel was extremely helpful (guidement, tours, room cleaning).
The breakfast was a bit bland, during the 10 days stay i've seen close to no-variation. Regarding the location, be aware that the airplane traffic can be heard especially at the early hours (6 to 8 AM)
Breakfast was ok. Location was excellent. Subway station just outside front door
Good breakfast, good location next to metro station but it was also very cheap and easy to use Uber. All the staff I encountered were very friendly. Great pool area with bar and food service by the pool.
I liked everything.
Exit of the metro right in front of the hotel, good location, nice staff, the breakfast was not bad
The parking - it's made for cars type "Smart" - we were with little Opel Corsa and was extremely difficult to get in and out - very narrow!!!
It is super close to the Metro station. Just across the street! The breakfast was pretty good.
Rooms are rather small. It was very noisy during our stay. There was a renovation going on in the next building. The airport is close and all the airplanes are taking off just above the hotel.
The check in staff were great and our room was available so we could check in slightly early which was amazing after a long journey. The room was clean but small side and bed comfy. Location is fine with lots of shops and cafes close by but quite business-y rather than tourist.
The young guy attendant at pool bar- asked for our room number and when I gave it told me it didn’t exist! Then asked to see my room card! So so rude. Would not return as a result of this young guy- need to change his attitude.
Pleasant staff; generally a quite comfortable room; excellent breakfast.
Rooms could use a tea kettle. Bathroom could be better stocked with actual shampoo and conditioner. Walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING in neighboring rooms. Didn’t appreciate getting a message before my flight saying “card invalid” only to find out that the staff working there had no idea why that message would be sent. Still, would stay there again.
The hotel was lovely. We had breakfast included. Although there wasn’t a huge choice there plenty for everyone. It was straight across from the metro station and had us in the city centre in 10 mins and the airport in twenty!
The food could have been better
The breakfast
Nice clean hotel
Breakfast is a bit simple and the coffee is not great
Pleasant modern hotel located in quiet street with metroline opposite. Easy to move around. Nice swimming pool on rooftop with sunbed chairs. Pleasant staff ready to assist when asked.
Very comfy beds and air conditioning was great
Liked everything
