8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast, served, reasonable. As we wanted a twin bedded room we had a two bedroom apartment which gave plenty of room but had to move furniture so my wife could have a set of drawers for all her stuff. Came with a fridge. Off street parking fun.
Cons: Nothing to dislike.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Location very central, friendly staff
Cons: Cleanliness, steep stairs, smelled of dogs / pets in the property
7.1 Good
Pros: The room was large with views to the hills. Owner was helpful with my bike.
Cons: There were 50 stairs to my room. This meant the views were good. I am fit so not a problem for me but people with walking difficulties should ask for a room on a lower floor. Breakfast was fair.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff great. Food very good. In good location.
Cons: Nothing. All good.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great sized rooms very clean and lovely breakfast. Value for money
Cons: Nothing

7.1 Good
Pros: The size of the bedroom
Cons: All the stairs especially with 2 dogs and luggage. Having a lift would be good

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Clean, quiet, comfortable. Nice breakfast. Large room (no:1). Good shower. Fast free wifi. Friendly owner. Good location.
Cons: No lift so you must lug your bag up the stairs. However help is always offered. Otherwise a pleasant stay.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely people, great breakfast and fantastic service. Excellent value for money!
Cons: The stairs! The rooms that Ruth and Ross let out are all on the 2nd or 3rd floor. Also, they live in the building so every time you go to your room you encounter a large dog. It's lovely and very friendly but I know people who would freak out if not pre-warned.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Was in a nice location and the staff catered for our needs perfectly, will be staying again.
7.7 Good

7.3 Good
Pros: Fantastic room, private car park, excellent breakfast, excellent service...would definitely use again. Some little points of view though... the wireless internet did not work as did not the freeview tv, which was very patchy - maybe a signal issue, and finally getting there without satnav was a little difficult...on the whole 9 out of 10! I would always use it again
8.0 Excellent
Pros: We were very impressed by the owners and the facilities
Cons: A bit noisy on a Friday night
7.2 Good
Pros: Room was lovely, newly decorated fresh and clean.
Cons: Room No 1 was at the front of the guest house, as it was a Victorian house the windows were original, unfortunately across the road from the hotel was a club that stayed open until 3 am. The very large crowd who mainly were outside the club may well of been in the room with us, the noise was terrible especially on a Sunday night! I don't think this room should be used for guests.
7.6 Good
Pros: Excellent decor, very clean, nothing too much trouble for mine host, breakfast to die for.
Cons: Cannot think of any

Cons: The mattresses were horrible.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful peaceful location, friendly staff, good wi-fi and breakfast.
Cons: Nothing.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location overall, quiet, clean
Cons: Beds not that comfortable, as too soft for my liking. We had the ground floor room which said views over lake, although didn’t mention that the French windows opened directly onto the veranda at the front of the property, inc outside seating, so felt very exposed, and consequently wasn’t comfortable to be in the room with curtains open, as the route from the car parking area also passed directly in front of the windows. As such at £103 B&B felt over- priced.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very spacious rooms, fantastic views of the surrounding countryside.
Cons: Bed was very large and comfortable but the mattress was quite firm.
5.8 Okay
Pros: No atmosphere in the bar area. Had to buzz for any service
Cons: Location was remote. Lacking atmosphere and finesse
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A very rural location with sheep grazing in the surrounding fields and ducks on the large pond opposite, at the end of a no-through lane. Breakfast was very prompt and more than adequate with good choice of cooked options. Our room had the bonus of an extra sitting room with large screen tv and comfy sofa and large west facing window.
Cons: The new bathroom has a few teething problems which can hopefully be improved -very large with separate large shower and full bath.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Good breakfast. Lovely spacious room.
Cons: The window in the bedroom lounge had a beautiful view but the glass was dirty. Bed very uncomfortable for me, thin mattress and no topper. Staff on check in and on departure very matter of fact and not particularly welcoming; we were only shown partway to our room.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good food comfortable room
Cons: Happy with everything
6.3 Good
Pros: Pleasant staff. Convenient location
Cons: Shower pathetic. Very limited wine list We'd booked 2 rooms several months ago, and asked for the two rooms to be adjacent. They were actuallya long way apart
9.6 Excellent
Pros: View. Food. There was plenty of coffee and tea in the room unlike others who leave enough for one cup.
Cons: Pot holes in the road outside. Could do with some tarmac and more outside lighting.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely quiet breakfast room. Delicious breakfast.
Cons: Fixed shower head rather than on flexible hose.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: If you're expecting a 'chain hotel' then prepare to be disappointed because this isn't that sort of place. What it actually is, is a guest house run almost single-handedly (and very efficiently) by the host, Sue. The building is old, a bit creaky in places, but all the more charming perhaps because of that? The room I was in (Room 1) is a twin room of a nice size. It has everything you could possibly need but perhaps not everything that you'd ever 'want'. There's nowhere to work really, I was typing on my laptop sitting on the bed but, that's ok. I fell asleep mid-sentence, the bed was so comfortable... There's a very nice guest lounge with books and games. For business users, this might not be the obvious choice but, the WIFI is really good and I know the host has spent a lot of money upgrading it. For me, WIFI is the deal-breaker but there was nothing to complain about here. Breakfast in the morning is cooked to order and it's delicious. I'm not much of a breakfast eater but it was well worth the effort. This is a sleepy hotel, very comfortable and clean regardless of the housing development works going on outside. It's quiet and peaceful. If you're very lucky (and you like dogs), you'll have the privilege of patting the resident dog, a delightful black Labrador (built like a horse), very friendly, likes sausages very much. Give the hotel a chance, it is characterful and, if you need peace and quiet to work (as I did), it's a good choice. There's plenty to do in the area and lots of places to eat. I brought food with me but a warning, there is no 'Just Eat' in this area so don't expect it. I don't stay in Llandrindod Wells as a rule but if I needed to again, I would happily stay here again.
6.7 Good
Pros: Comfortable room and bed , good choices for breakfast.
Cons: Poor location for access to the town, normal entrance was closed so had to come in through back entrance which was quite shabby but this was only temporary.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The owner was very helpful and industrious.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Sue was very friendly and attentive
Cons: Everything was good
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Quiet location and very friendly staff
Cons: wifi wasn’t very good

Cons: The first few days when we arrived the weather was not very good and The room was very cold , we had to ask several times over the first few days before the heating and hot water were put on ,The weather eventually changed to beautiful hot sunshine we enjoyed the rest of the week very much There seemed to be a lot of Young staff trying to do several jobs at once and at times the reception being left unattended we were not always able to get information when we needed it , having said that some of the young staff did try to be very helpful ,I think they need a little hotel training .

7.1 Good
Pros: Staff friendly
Cons: Needs a bit of tic as a little outdated
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good hotel for a cheap night stay. Nothing sensational but very pleasant staff and a comfortable, clean bed with all amenities needed in a room (private bathroom, kettle and TV with Freeview). Easy check in and check out and very accessible breakfast times, although I did not have the breakfast.
Cons: Interior is a little dated and drab; could just do with a lick of paint and some new wallpaper. Bathroom was a little aged especially. Parking is a bit of a push if you go at a very busy time, although this is not really a criticism of the hotel.
2.5 Mediocre
Pros: It’s fine for the money
Cons: Dancing girls
