Pros: Staff freindly/ food A1/location ideal/Would say this is by far one of the best hotels I have stayed at,so much we have booked for next september.

Pros: Nice, homely place. Very quiet rural location. Breakfast was superb
Cons: Bathroom door didn't shut entirely.
Pros: Friendly helpful staff and in a great location, restaurant food was great as well and nice bar
Cons: Decor is very outdated and the mock stonework wallpaper in the restaurant has to go! Generally the whole place needs a bit of a makeover from the broken lock on my door, to the noisy pipework and the general condition of everything. It also has one of my pet hates which is a nice desk in the bedroom where I can catch up on some work stuff, but no chair to sit at it
Pros: First impressions were wonderful. Owners Andrew and Wendy Chape were first class hosts. Restaurant and food was outstanding. The chef was superb, chatty and accomodating. The bar was well stocked. Staff could not do enough for you, they were very polite and friendly. Would recommend this hotel to family and friends and hope to return soon. Gardens were well kept with beautiful flower beds and lawns.

Pros: Hotel and grounds
Cons: staff not overly helpful and seem to just be a bunch of mates trying to run what could be an exceptional hotel
Pros: We stayed in a four poster suite- like our own slice of Downtown Abbey!
Pros: Breakfasts were excellent. A good and varied selection but could do with Tabasco sauce being available but the substitute was very acceptable.
Cons: The time out delay on the bathroom light could do with being longer. Other than that there was nothing to change for me.
Pros: Beautiful grounds, very nice staff especially reception & duty manager. Good breakfast selection & breakfast room.
Cons: Had to ask for room to be re cleaned as carpet was not vacuumed & heavy dust everywhere. Housekeeping all over the hotel needs attention.
Pros: We arrived on the Friday after a long journey & hadn't prebooked in the resteraunt, we were given a table at a time that suited us without any issue. The spa facilities were spotless and quiet which enhanced the level of relaxation we experienced during our visit.
Cons: There was nothing about the hotel, staff or location for us not to like, everything was beyond our expectations.
Pros: The swimming pool & the gardens & the room.
Cons: The evening meal was extremely poor and very expensive.
Pros: Location and general surroundings
Cons: Room needed some tlc, no spa sessiona available
Pros: The building and the grounds are beautiful.

Pros: Great staff! We were meant to catch a train in Bangor on a Sunday before the taxis start working, and one of the staff kindly drove us to Bangor himself! Great, unexpected service.
Cons: The rooms could use a fresh coat of paint/redecorating.
Pros: Character building with some interesting history to the building.
Pros: Very comfortable bed and good bathroom.
Cons: Lack of lighting in the room. Going to eat in the restaurant and most things off the menu as food order wasn't placed on time ??!! (Due to booking some customers in)!!!!! Basic hotel management. (I have a BA (Hons) in International Hotel Management) I ate up the road. And they had what I wanted.
Pros: The staff were very helpful one lent use a charger
Cons: Walking up to the top floor of the hotel
Pros: The bed was very comfortable the staff are very polite and hard working, I would like to thank the manager Emrys for his warm and friendly welcome and vast knowledge of the area.
Cons: The place needs updating the carpet we’re showing a lot of wear on the stairs and paint work needs to be redone, sanitary wear such as loose fitting tap also toilet seat and shower controls needs repair.
Pros: Good location
Cons: Hot bath tap insecure and didn’t work bathroom in very poor state of repair
Pros: Clean bed, good shower.
Cons: Badly in need of redecorating! Paper black and hanging off. Blind that would not open, broken taps, frayed carpet, bad room.
Cons: The staff were great but under staffed one person doing bar reception serving meals
Pros: The property is in a good location for sightseeing various places around Anglesey and north wales. It is a budget hotel so don’t go expecting the Ritz. The property is in need of refurbishment but that didn’t impact on our stay there. The staff were all really nice, polite and welcoming. The food we had for breakfast was very enjoyable and generous portions. All in all it was good value for money.
Cons: The fact that our room was on the top floor which meant climbing 4 flights of stairs, 37 in all.
Cons: Food was terrible took over an hour from ordering to arrive then was over cooked, severely understaffed in the evening Dirty linen in the wardrobe, pillows stank of sweat, rooms are in dire need of updating
