10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent. It is about a 1.5 mile walk into town, half of which is along a very pictoresque riverbank. The town is very friendly and the Neuadd Arms Hotel/Pub/Restaurant has a lovely relaxed vibe and is clearly used as much my the locals as it is by us holiday makers. We also tried the BelleVue one evening and would have loved to try the Drovers Arms but it was already fully booked up. Plenty of places to eat including cafes which we didn't get round to. Our hosts Jen and Paul were very welcoming and attentive. We enjoyed a little chat each morning with them as they served up our breakfasts. The B&B is on two levels and it was lovely to have a separate lounge area where we could relax for a couple of hours at the end of the day. Access to a lovely garden leading down to the river. A huge and very comfortable kingsize bed and well designed ensuite.
Cons: Nothing really.

Pros: Rooms were clean, tidy and comfortable, car parking just outside the door. Reading room was atmospheric, lots of character, with lots of cool books and great to spend an hour with a cup of tea. Silence at night was amazing, just wish the weather wasn't so dismal or I bet the starry skies would have been incredible. Check in was easy, the Hosts were really lovely and chilled and Breakfast was lovely with lots to choose from and local produce used. This would be a lovely place to visit in the summer, with lots of good walking and a couple of pubs stumbling distance away (just make sure you bring a torch!)
Cons: A slightly larger TV to enjoy a film, although I managed Match of the Day on it :)

Pros: We could have been personal friends with the welcome we received. The twin room was exceptionally clean, the beds were really comfortable, with expensive, top of the range, quality beddiing. The toiletries in the en-suite, again were of an exceptional standard. Our cooked breakfast was really good, well presented, and consisted of everything one would expect, together with a variety of fresh fruit salad and cereals. This B&B is the best we have stayed in, and we have stayed in many. Would we stay again? a silly question really - of course we would without question. Thank you Pippa for making our stay so pleasant.
