Friendly staff and good food great location for what I needed
Quiet, remote location in beautiful surroundings. Tasty Scottish breakfast.
The smell in the Room. Apart from that it was ok
Fab location, friendly staff
Everything was fine
Breakfast was fine a good selection and plenty of it. The Problem is the place just isn't what it appears to be in the descriptions used. Reading their literature you'd think this was some lost paradise. Don't be fooled. It isn't. This a pub in a tiny village in the middle of absolutely nowhere which just happens to have a wonderful view... which was spoiled by the fact that the pub itself has reed rushes growing all around it and so the picturesque images of it sitting next to the water are to say the least misleading. That said the room was plain, but clean and comfortable - not very good value for money at the price they have charged us for the type of decor and provisions in the room. The TV did not work, and I had to get new batteries for the remote (pet peeve). It is along, long lonely drive through beautiful countryside and views - the problem is that when you get there, there is nothing else there except the odd house, boat and that's it. Great if you want a quiet getaway, but nothing like the lost paradise they describe it as. Shame.
Most of it really, Certainly would not recommend or stay again. Shame.
