Hotels near London Heathrow Airport

Pros: Location night next to terminal 4 but terminal 5 a short free bus ride away. Everything you usually get with premier inn, clean comfortable room. Can't hear the planes either!

Cons: The self check in is a pain. Took two or three times to work.

Pros: Great staff at check in and check out. They were very helpful, and even printed my return boarding passes for me. The rooms were clean and very comfortable. The on-site restaurant is lovely and not at all over priced for where it is, aside from that, the food was lovely on both times we stayed (before and after our travel). Keep up the good work, this is an excellent Premier Inn.

Pros: Well signposted, so easy to find when in terminal 4. Basic but very comfortable, the rooms had programmable aircon and a kettle and some tea and coffee supplies, so as an airport hotel, nothing to fault! Wifi was also pretty decent and there is a restaurant downstairs with a Costa coffee if youre desperate for a feed after your flight.

Cons: I don't like the Premier Inn beds. They are far too high, too soft, and try to swallow me whole. I had a backache every morning after sleeping at Premier Inns for seven nights during my trip to Britain.

Cons: Party going on till midnight, music blaring, kids from party running through the restaurant while we are trying to eat. Asked management to turn music down, nothing changed had a 4am flight with 3 hours sleep not impressed

Pros: Check In was swift and smooth. Every member of staff I interacted with were polite and helpful. The breakfast was excellent and was served very quickly.

Cons: If I had known that a private party was being held in the evening I would not have booked a nights stay there. There were children running around the dining hall who were not customers of the dining area and no parents in sight to manage their behaviour. The music was so loud I could not have a conversation with my partner without raising our voices to be heard, even though we were sitting opposite each other. After our meal we could not use the bar/lounge facilities due to the party so we had to retire to our room early. We decided to sit on the balcony of our room for coffee, but unfortunately it overlooked the function room, and many of the patrons of the private party were outside and were using foul language which made us very uncomfortable. Eventually we decided to retire to bed before 9pm and reflect on a ruined, but expensive nights stay.

Cons: Woke up by a fire alarm late evening /early morning hours had too be evacuated outside off the building with my partner i am pregnant and found it more than unplesent When we returned too our room the fire alarm again went off . No communication or apology from the hotel . Pretty disgusted ruined our anniversary

Cons: Bed and pillows were way too soft. Got little sleep, felt every toss and turn of my husband -- which defeated the purpose of a daytime flight to LHR.

Pros: Perfect hotel for the traveler coming or going from Heathrow to the States - you are right at Terminal 5 so super convenient! The hotel pampers your weary traveler's body - wonderful beds, pillows, bath products etc. The bars are fun and the Vivre restaurant is excellent. Overall, we would always prefer Sofitel for airport stays as they are outstanding!

Pros: I have stayed at the Sofitel on previous occasions and the standard is always high and the location is perfect for T5 and trains. On this occasion Lavinia (Reception) stood out as particularly helpful, kind and professional and I would like to commend her for this. The cafe is very good both in quality of food, coffee, prices and professionalism.

Pros: It is a popular location, so when I got there in the late evening, I had to stay in line for the staff to serve us and check us in. However, the room exceeded my expectations. It was very clean and spacious, the bed was excellent. It felt as if sleeping on the softest cloud, the pillows were also new, puffy and fantastic overall. It was quiet in the evening and in the morning, a great location for someone to spend the night before an early flight to Heathrow.

Cons: The only issue we had was the taxi service they contacted to return us to the airport. The driver charged 17L for a very short drive to Terminal 3. We had been told at reception that the ride would be a contracted 13lL, but the driver required 17.

Pros: I was there for my professional meetings inside of the hotel. I did not go to the center and therefore didn't have a terrible traffic (people said!) from and to Heathrow. From this point of view my stay was excellent:) Great transport communication (buses) with all Heathrow terminals. Free of charge. If a taxi - 10 pounds' trip. Very friendly and helpful employees!

Pros: Super convenient to the airport. Heathrow is huge. It's not the easiest thing to get around, but staying here made it easier. The hotel is very clean. It's a comfortable transition back from European to American standards. The towels are huge and fluffy. They have face cloths. It's sound proof and usually efficient. The beds are really comfortable, and they have black out blinds to you can sleep any time of day.

Cons: It took longer than usual to check in. The restaurant is really expensive!

Pros: I arrived very late in the evening from an international flight. Staff most helpful, particularly with airport transfer the following morning (less than half the cost of a London cab). Despite being on the Heathrow transport corridor, the rooms are quiet. Also clean and well appointed. Breakfast more than adequate.

Pros: Location was excellent literally 5 minutes from the airport. The rooms were a good size and on the return visit we did manage to get adjoining rooms. Nice pool.

Cons: On the first night of our holiday we went to the restaurant. Oh dear! I have never waited so long for what was a below average meal. Some things were cold, some things were under cooked and some things were just missing. The waitress, bless her tried but I could tell that we weren’t the only ones who had a grumble. Suffice to say we didn’t return. I mentioned in the likes box above how nice it was to have the adjoining room. It was just a shame that the lock was broken when we arrived so we couldn’t initially open it. Got fixed eventually.

Cons: The hallway was very smelly and dirty. Sheets were not soft and the bed was uncomfortable. All through the night you are woken up by people extending their beds from the seated position the sleeping position. Unless you are staying in terminal 4, the location is awful - there are no early pre-six am shuttle buses or trains to the other terminals so we ended up spending an additional £22 on a Uber to Terminal 2! Ridiculous!

Pros: the location being right at the airport is really good. just needed to get into the lift to go check in. Brilliant for early starts. The novelty of the set up is quite cool, and the tv and wifi is good.

Cons: the area is a bit rundown and you feel like you are heading into a dungeon when finding your room. Also it is very difficult to find the hotel in the airport premises. it does not have the same level of signage that the other hotels do. you have to use a particular set of lifts other wise you cant find it.

Pros: Staying at Heathrow for an early flight I was very pleased with my accommodation and its location, which was close to the link from Terminal 4 to Terminals 2 and 3. The accommodation was tiny but comfortable and included everything I might have wanted for an overnight pre flight stay.

Cons: I found the bed surround a bit difficult to clamber over to get in or out of the bed and I am a reasonably agile person and not overweight.

Cons: The room has an air conditioning that blows cold air directly on your face while you are sleeping. Supposedly one can regulate the temperature but it didnt work for me. After two hours in bed without sleeping because of the noise of the fan and the air in my face I got up got dressed and went to reception to ask the guy to turn down the air. The guy told me that was not possible. I left this morning for my day of meetings without having slept and with a cold. I feel dreadful.

Pros: Right inside Heathrow, which was very convenient for my eleven hour layover and early morning connecting flight. I loved the clever use of space. Very clean and comfortable, it was perfect for my needs.

Cons: I loved the small size, but I also had seen photos online and knew what I was getting into. This is a micro hotel room, which might not suit some travelers.

Pros: Love how was easily accessible. able to use the free train to get between terminals. Was very clean and the bed was very comfortable. Unlimited hot drinks was good in addition to there being two restaurants one beside it and one on the lower level that met my expectations. It look just like the pictures.

Cons: There is this noise that sounds as if it is the pipes. It seem to go off at every 10 minutes,. When I asked about it I was told it some sort of suction of the air. It was very loud luckily I can sleep through anything. I was told every room hears it and that's probably why each room came with ear plugs.

Pros: Cosy, clean and comfortable - and, of course, inside the airport. A great option for a very early flight!

Cons: Not Yotel's fault, but it took me 45 minutes to transfer to terminal 4. I'd recommend going by tube and ignoring the 'free train transfer' option - so much walking and trains only seem to go every half hour.

Cons: Huge noisy party going on all over lobby when I arrived. Couldn’t find check-in desk. Couldn’t hear what clerk was saying because noise was so loud. Tried to go back to lobby for information, but noisy partiers marauding in hallways made me turn back and try to get a little sleep.

Pros: Location versus cost was excellent. Staff were extremely helpful as I arrived late at night and had to leave very early in the morning, they showed me where a pizza place was and got coffee for me when I checked out.

Cons: When I phoned from the States, the staff told me they would send someone to collect us at Enterprise Rent-a-Car as a courtesy. When we phoned from Enterprise, they not only said they wouldn't, they denied ever having told me that--even though I have it in writing in an email. We took the Enterprise shuttle to the nearest drop off and walked the rest of the way in the rain, arriving soaking wet. The staff apologized for my not understanding, which only enraged me. The room was chilly with only two thin and rough bath towels. The thermostat didn't work.

Cons: The large picture of skydivers on the bedroom wall and the fact that it was reflected in the mirror which was right next to the television and distracted my viewing, The design of the carpeting made the carpet appear dirty There was no towel hook next to the shower No hook on bathroom door to hang dressing gown When we tried to return across the bridge from the main building to our room in the annex when the elevator was out of service, there were no posted signs that we could see how to get to the bridge, but we managed it after walking up and down quite a bit. Two or three arrows would suffice.

Pros: The breakfast was disappointing, it was continental, fair enough, but tinned fruit and part baked rolls was a poor show. It was extra for a cooked breakfast. Plus the guy cleaning tables was very good at his job, he'd almost cleared the coffee cup before I'd put coffee in it.

Cons: The staff were really disengaged. There was no-one on the front desk when I arrived but I could hear/see them chatting in the back office. They kept several of us waiting and then didn't apologise. They just didn't smile or make us very welcome. They weren't bad or rude per se, but it's especially important at airport hotels, when travellers are weary, that staff are welcoming and efficient. The staff here need training and enthusing and giving a reason to be proud of themselves. They felt very under motivated to me.

Cons: Everything met or exceeded expectations during my time at hotel Ibis. My only complaint was an uncooked sausage but that's fine. I just chose not to eat it.

Cons: Difficult to get from t5 Need to catch 140 line which is free by the way but not very well explained in the bus stop

Pros: Cleanliness . The room was expectionally clean, so clean you can smell the freshness. I came in with a serious headache, the smell soothes my headache.

Cons: Think of providing body lotion in the bathroo, Shower caps as well for ladies. We don't like our hair messed up.

Cons: Staff member at check in gave me no info about breakfast etc and I had been told the Hoppa bus stopped there but it didn’t but a lovely bus driver was super helpful and made an extra stop for us - the staff member was just not open to info in the hotel

Cons: The music from the lounge was so loud that my room vibrated... lasted until 1am.. for a weary traveler on a connecting flight it was difficult to sleep.

Cons: Info on getting to the hotel needs to be made more accessible. Really unclear in Heathrow how to get to the transit buses, also that they cost more than a taxi would if there’s two or more in a party.

Pros: This hotel is very modern, clean and comfortable. The staff are very kind and helpful. The hotel is ideally situated across from Heathrow Airport. And the restaurant offers really delicious food at a really reasonable price.

Cons: I booked because it was so close to the airport and had an overnight layover. In the morning, I came down to get a taxi and was told it would be 45 mins! I ended up downloading Uber and it took about 20 mins but this is something that DEFINITELY should have been warned about when checking in (considering my plane ended up taking off about 400 meters from the hotel).

Cons: Bed too hard and uncomfortable Breakfast poor ; whilst plentiful and a very good choice we found the chicken cooked breakfast low quality , dry and rather tasteless which i found unusual for a Novotel where the food quality is usually to a high standard

Pros: Good location for flights from Heathrow. Evening food was ok.

Cons: Cooked breakfast not available early in the morning, this should be made clear. If you have paid for breakfast and have an early flight you may be disappointed with cold meats/carrots/cheese, etc. Absolutely nowhere to park when we arrived, had to wait a long while for someone to leave.

Pros: Spacious, clean and modern rooms.

Cons: No windows in the room except one small window in the roof. Hallways were like labyrinth. No free shuttle to and from hotel to airport (have to wait for airport bus) and pay 6 pounds a person.

Pros: Nice, spacious room - standard double (single occupancy). Very comfortable bed. Close to Heathrow. Good breakfast.

Cons: Impersonal check-in with very little information given. The conference facilities were being used by a group - reverberating bass music went on until just after midnight! The idea of having a great night’s sleep prior to a non-stop 16 hour flight to Australia was therefore not realised. Interestingly, I did not hear any plane noise despite jets taking off every 2 minutes less than 1km away! I did have an internal room overlooking the bar area (or maybe the loud music drowned them out!)

Cons: Be aware that the Hoppa shuttle bus runs 5:30am - 11:32pm, so when I arrived on a late flight, I ended up having to take a taxi. Also I couldn't find a Hoppa ticket machine so you have to pay 5 quid cash each way.

Pros: Nice place to stay close to the airport with a shuttle available to take you in the morning. Comfortable beds. If you’re coming in late, food is served til about midnight and the bar is open til 1am. Staff is very friendly and helpful!

Cons: There is a shuttle kiosk you can buy tickets from to pay for your ride to the airport. Most places I’ve been to offers free shuttle service. And I did not see anywhere that if you pay the driver instead of buying tickets ahead of time, he charges a dollar more.

Pros: It was nice being so close to Heathrow in a quiet and comfortable hiding location. Very clean Very friendly and helpful staff The pool, sauna, and gym were nice - better than many similar hotels

Cons: Expensive for the level of investment this hotel has recently had. Less than expected included - no shuttles even though it's literally across the street from one of the free city bus stops to Heathrow terminals. The facilities feel like they were last updates in the 1970s.

Pros: The room rate was what lead me to book at the hotel @ £85 including breakfast. I received a follow up email offering additional upgrades etc & took up the 3 course fixed menus deal @ £18.95. It was a French themed buffet which was good value for money.

Cons: I had to queue for 20 minutes to check-in at 5:45pm. Given the time of day there should have been more than 1 person on the desk. In the end I was called across to the Radisson members check-in desk which had 2 staff. I requested a quiet room and while my room was a long way from the bustle of reception, restaurant etc. it was far from quiet. The sound proofing of the room doesn't match up to that of other airport perimeter hotels I have stayed in. Also, the fan on the mini fridge in the room kept me awake most of the night. The pillows were too small with one far too soft & the other too hard. It was impossible to get comfortable.

Cons: No fridge in my room . I had to keep my fruits in the concierge's fridge. No drinking water put in rooms for clients on a daily basis. I was told this is done only for Radisson members. The receptionist repeating like 4 times to me that i would loose my ten pounds deposit if I dont return the adaptor I took from them as if i didn't understand English which I found very racist as i am African.
