Basic As It Gets

It had hot and cold running water, a shower and working toilet, electricity and heating. Clean and hygienic in the bedroom. Working WiFi was a good speed and reliable throughout the stay. Would stay here again as it is so cheap, but would not recommend to anyone looking to spend a significant amount of time awake in their room.

The front door was left constantly unlocked. My boyfriend and I arrived home at half past 5 in the morning after a night out with friends to find both the inner and outer doors unlocked and no one around. When we arrived, the door was opened by a lady who asked if we had a reservation then showed us to a ground-floor room. She then left without asking our names. For all she knew we could have just turned up and had free use of their rooms. We left at 3PM Sunday afternoon, there was no staff member to check out with, and the entire building was seemingly empty. The bathroom, while the toilet and shower worked, was very basic without even a bath mat on the floor leading to dirt everywhere covering the soles of my feet as soon as I got out of the shower. The bedrooms were nothing like as nicely furnished as in the pictures, the "flat-screen TV" was about 14 inches and we had to have the curtains drawn at all times because our room was at the front of the house and anyone walking past would be able to see in the window.
