The best thing was the even though it was an apartment for 3 people at least there was a seperate bedroom so it was easy to work around who was sleeping in what room instead of all been cramed into the same room as with most rooms for 3 people also the dining room table & chairs where we could sit and have meals instead of eating out all the time.
When asking staff for an item such as a kitchen essential or toilet roll they never brought it to our room while we waited for it the request was ignored!!!
Great Location and too spacious apartments compared to hotel and excellent staff especially Sally.
It was good to stay in an appartment and handy for the tube.
The bed was uncomfortable and the carpets had seen better days for 4 star accommodation.
Stayed one night at SO Quartier, the apartments are good size and the hotel staff , free wifi and we will definitely go back again
The staff was brillant! They were really attentive to your every demand.
I didn't like finding a condom wrapper left in the sofa bed. But it's a mistake from housekeeping.
Privacy was always respected, and presentation of the rooms was impeccable. Also very helpful with baggage storage while room was not ready.
Nice sized apartments
apartment entrance was grimly decorated and still smelled of smoke as clearly converted from once a soking room. No bedside lamp. Location is not great next to run down pub but above a tescos so ok for getting groceries when eating in; too far for tourists visiting central London but accessible for price/value
prompt and efficient service
My room was a real one-bedroom flat instead of a large studio
Very noisy area
The apartment suite was fantastic. Although we booked a two-bedroom apartment, they gave us two one-room apartments instead, which meant we had even more space. The kitchen was brilliant, and having a living room was one of the best things about it. We would definitely consider coming back!
The apartments were serviced differently. One apartment had two trash bins, a telephone, toiletries and a doorstop while the other was missing these items. Also, over the four days, one apartment had the bed made and more obvious cleaning than the other. The towels were changed just once, and one of the towels was dingy and stained. The telephones, along with one apartment not having a phone, did not work the entire time, which caused us problems organising our group in the mornings. Even more disturbing was when one of our party was outside at night, having a cigarette, only to be confronted by a man carrying a ten-inch butcher knife, going around cutting all the cables on the building opposite. The man did not bother him, except to ask for a light and tell him that he was working for the sas and that "you never saw me", but when he went into reception to tell the receptionist about it, the receptionist dismissed it as being "annoying". A man running around with a ten-inch butcher knife is a little more than annoying, I think! It would have been nice if the receptionist had called the police, or acted a bit more concerned!
