Where it was situated
The room was very small and did not like the fact that I had to climb over my husband to get out of bed.
We enjoyed greatly, that there was a nice bath tub on the bathroom.
We had 2 double rooms, and on both rooms the window was only single-layered. The window frame was also leaking greatly. So even though we had the air condition turned on for heating, it didn't help much as the warmth just went straight out the window. Both my mom and my son had a cold after our stay at this hotel.
The staff were all extremely well-trained, efficient, friendly and helpful at all times. This ensured that breakfast, enjoying a drink in the bar or asking for tourist advice at the desk was a calm relaxing and pleasant experience.
Th room we had was very compact but friends had a larger room and both were very clean and functional.
The location for my particular needs was excellent but very disappointed in specification considering outside it is rated 4 star
Room very basic with a very thin ( summerweight ) duvet so was quite cold in the night , no extra blankets in room
The reception staff were very pleasant and helpful, particularly when I had a problem remembering my credit card PIN number after a particularly difficult day. The barman in the evening was a great character and added to the enjoyment of customers.
The bed was a little hard and uncomfortable. Breakfast was fine, but a hot buffet is not ideal. I would have preferred the hot food to have been served, which would have allowed a choice of how eggs were served.
