London bed & breakfasts

Pros: Good location to the Tube and free parking.

Pros: There is parking lot at the back og the Hotel and it is free. It makes me feel this hotel is Value for money. Also the bus stop is just in front of the hotel. It is easy to go city centre.

Cons: If there is something hot food for the breakfast, it would be better. e.g. bacon or sausage.

Pros: The friendlyness of the staff and willinness to help. The rooms where comfortable and practical.will def stay here again next time im in london.Thought the location was good only a short walk away from the bus station

Cons: the bathroom had a bit of a weird smell. The man in the breakfast room seemed to stare which made me feel uncomfroatble

Pros: The Guest house was much better than we expected. We had plenty of space, and were very comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful and it made our stay that bit more enjoyable. We would definately recommend it.

Cons: It would have been nice to have a cooked breakfast but what was supplied was still good.

Cons: I missed meat from breakfast - e.g. salami. Small inconveniences in the room: - toilet kept refilling until we removed the top of the tank. - the bathroom door stuck all the time.

Pros: The receptionist was very welcoming. The room was clean and bright. We were asked if we would like to leave our cases in the reception area when we checked out which was nice. It was basic but we did expect this. It was a great location and we did not have to use the tube as we could walk to the theatre and restaurants.

Cons: The breakfast was truly appalling. I can usually eat anything but would say no to rock hard sausages with hard fried eggs and bacon. It did not seem healthy to have food which I am guessing had been sitting in the luke warm buffet area for a while. The toast and tea was ok. I would rather pay less and have no breakfast. We were up several flights of stairs with no lift which no one pointed out to us on booking. It did occur to me how unsafe the building would be in a fire with the narrow stair case but perhaps I am wrong and uninformed. The shower (a trickle) and heater took a while to heat up and this could have been explained by the receptionist i.e. that I would have to run the shower for a while to heat.

Cons: This was more like a single roon with a double bed making it very cramped with old furniture.

Cons: Unfortunately there were some road works just under the windows so could not really sleep during the night due to the noise...

Pros: Location could not be better, walking distance to Piccadilly Circus and West End. Saved a good deal on transport which was handy during the tube strike.

Cons: Our room was on the top floor and was tiring to climb the narrow steep staircase with bags. It was also difficult passing other people in the corridor as was narrow. Would not recommend this hotel to anyone who has difficulties with stairs. Also a warning about the newsagents next door who tried to overcharge me and also a friend on a different occasion (this was nothing to do with the hotel itself)

Pros: Excellent location in Central London. Next to a number of restaurants. Walking distance to Victoria Station where you can hop on the tube to almost anywhere including an express train to Gatwick Airport. You come here to put your stuff down and sleep. If you are looking for a spacious place, then this isn't for you. If you are looking for a place to sleep and be able to easily get around London in a safe environment, then I definitely recommend it.

Cons: Reception staff not very welcoming, booked 3 rooms. Only given two rooms, when told it should be 3 they gave us another room which was not ready and was on the top floor and was so small it was like a broom cupboard compared the other rooms. Glad it was only for 1 night

Cons: we were supposed to check in at 11, this is why we chose this hotel, but the room wasn't ready. Extremely small rooms, we are used to staying in b&b but this room was so small that you couldn't even make a step without falling into something. Also the stuff should really have to learn how to be more polite.

Pros: 5 min from Victoria station (train, tube, bus). 20 min from trafalgar square. Tea and coffe in room (free), shower, new towel every day

Pros: The hotel was very good value for money. A good bed, enough space, clean bathroom, nothing more is needed for a business trip in a capital city.

Cons: There were no toiletries in the bathroom. This may have been an oversight, or they may have been available at reception, although I didn't ask. As a regular traveller I had my own.

Cons: to many stairs for someone with walking difficult's.

Cons: The heat could not be turned off in our room, wich meant that it was very and uncomfortably hot

Pros: Location is excellent for shopping. Cleanliness of room, comfortable bed. Small rooms but cosy. Clean towels every day.

Cons: Internet not free as advertised, only a few unsecured sites. But still cheaper than many I have stayed in. Internet not working most of the time. My room had problems with little hot water and water pressure. I was given another room for the remaining of my stay. Excellent water there.

Pros: The location, comfortable beds, nice ensuite shower. Room 22 was good, a friend was on the third floor and there it was quite hot.

Cons: The breakfast, but I didn´t mind just went out and bought my own.

Pros: Friendly staff, breakfast basket is a really good alternative for a buffet breakfast.

Cons: Noise from the hall, including front door buzzer, was clearly heard to the room. However, virtually no sounds from other rooms could be heard.

Pros: The location is perfect if you're coming into Kings Cross. 2 minutes walk and you're there. Rooms are standard and basic but you're not in London to stay in your room! Left luggage store is a huge plus for us.

Cons: If you're wanting a fancy hotel, this isn't for you. But if you want a basic hotel where you're comfortable, safe and everything is in good working order, this is perfect for you

Pros: Late night front desk clerk went out of his way to assist me. My room was a bit cold so he brought me a small electric heater. My bed was comfortable and room was clean. They had a working elevator which was great since I had a lot of luggage.

Cons: It would have been nice to have a bathtub instead of just a shower. Room was a bit on the small side but just right for a solo traveler.

Pros: Handy for mainline trains and underground so fairly central to get about the city. I had got a little chilly in the night but staff were very quick to respond when I mentioned it in the morning, and sent an engineer to check my radiator and an extra duvet.

Cons: rooms are small and walls paperthin. The toilet in our room didn't work, although they fixed it quickly. Breakfast uninspired.
