Location was good. Price was enticing. But just don't.
Staff overnight when I checked in could barely speak English and wasn't terribly helpful. Cash was requested, and luckily I had it because I did not see a credit card machine. The room was small, poorly lit, with amenities from the 1970s. A couple scratchy towels. Thin bar of soap, no shampoo. the staff gave the explanation that all of the rooms simply had just soap, no shampoo. Luckily the 7-Eleven up the street had some sample size shampoo for purchase. The curtain rod for the curtain in the bathroom was bent, the curtains had mold spots on them, and the window in the bathroom did not close because it was open and no handle was available to close it from the inside. No iron or ironing board. Bed was soft, sheet had some unidentifiable stains.
Ok when you need a bed and a roof over your head
The owners are very nice people and pretty much stayed out of the way. Also, they have the most beautiful kumquat trees. Location is pretty good but hard to access from a busy street
This is very old much run down motel. The room is small, only one electric socket and very dim lighting. The bathroom had a broken window that did not close. The shower was really moldy and did not work. There was no electrical outlets in the bathroom at all. Of course no iron or hair dryer. The bed had a very soft lumpy mattress.
A little worse than you'd expect
Location was good, and there was no fuss. Also, no cockroaches. You kind of know what you're getting into.
The water pressure in the shower was a trickle. That's not an exaggeration. Don't plan to wash your hair. One of the towels had a stain I can only assume was blood. There were hairs in the sheets (I brought my own and would recommend doing the same). And parking is a surcharge, but I suppose I should have expected that.
