I like being able to see air traffic at LAX, so that's a plus for me. Others may not like the noise, but I don't mind it at all. The Club lounge on the 15th floor serves a decent breakfast, with a variety of breads and cereals, pastries and muffins, fruit, yogurt/fruit/granola parfaits, oatmeal, and drinks. The hotel has a room service robot that delivers small items that you may have forgotten or run out of (toothpaste, etc.) Water pressure in the shower on my 4+ stays has been far less than impressive. I can't say I've had to dance around to get wet, but it's almost there. The mattress and pillows are a bit soft for my taste, but I know I prefer a firm mattress and extremely firm pillows. Service in the hotel bar was the worst I've ever had when I was there earlier this week. They took a while to take our order (I was with a colleague), then brought me the wrong drink. They delivered my order (an ever-so-complicated quesadilla) 20 minutes later, and my colleague was still waiting on his medium-rare hamburger 45 minutes after ordering it. We did speak with a manager, who indicated that some changes had been made just that day and that the staff was adjusting. I may give the bar another chance, but if it's as bad as my last experience, it will be exactly that - my last experience.
I liked the view the room was ok wasn't what I was expecting (received a king instead of a double queen) Staff was very friendly -Wasn't aware of parking so I was charged twice for going in and out -Have to pay for WiFi (Not Free) -Paid for club level wasn't able to access the club room for breakfast or the horderves with my key card -Extra $20 to get a double queen when it was offered during reservation but wasn't able to select figured since there was 3 guest it would give me double queen (said king or double queen) -Wasn't Well Informed on anything during check in -Left disappointed
Booked on KAYAK mobile for $90 plus tax. Close to LAX - good for travelers spending the night. Check-in was efficient. Room was pretty big. Bed was comfortable. Seemed to be very clean. Stepped right onto the shuttle in the morning to go to LAX. The flipside of proximity to LAX is that you can hear jets taking off, although it wasn't loud enough to disturb me at all. It may have been bad luck, but I saw several hotels' shuttles come by twice or more before the Sheraton shuttle finally arrived to pick us up. Also the shuttle stalled out a couple of times on the way to the airport, leading to significant anxiety. Possibly may have also been just bad luck.

Location and shuttle timeliness. I didn't appreciate being charged for valet when I never had a car parked at the hotel. And then making an attempt to get in touch with the finance department of the hotel was nearly impossible. I left messages and called repeatedly only to never receive a call back.
Staff made up different policy to extort money from confused scared woman. The received numerous calls from the booking agents and their parent company but they refused to honor the stated policy. The result, the hotel took all the cash off a woman who was traveling alone and had miss her flight due to an airline agent's mistake, Their actions forced a diabetic not to eat for over 14hrs.....
It was terrible and confusing. You had to get a voucher every day and it was far away, so you had to walk with all your stuff very inconvenient. Thought it was crazy that you had to pay for wifi too

Our connecting Delta flight was cancelled due to the recent weather and system issues. We couldn't get another flight for 36hrs. After arriving at the hotel at 1am, I was told that a strict check-in time was 3pm. I explained the circumstances, but no one was accommodating. They kept explaining their check-in policy and advised not to fall asleep in the lobby or security would request us to leave. There were several travelers in the lobby for the same reason. As I saw hotel customers check out, I asking about room availability. I was told to wait until 9am when housekeeping arrives. At 9:30am, I asked for a room. I was then informed that I would have to pay $50 extra to get one of the first available rooms or continue to wait until 3pm! I had no choice but to pay extra. This was unacceptable!
It is nice there are FOUR jacuzzi hot tubs.. The temperature in the jacuzzi could have been hotter.

This was Convenient with the continuous shuttles and proximity to the airport. This hotel is in a serious need of an update for rooms. My room was on the third floor. Immediately walking into my non-smoking room I detected the smell of stale old tobacco have a room that had one smoking allowed. The carpet was old and the decor was dated. In the bathroom some of the woodwork showed moisture decay. The bathroom was small and the sink stood at about mid thigh of this 5' 7" guy. This was not what I would consider an ACA accessible room based on the size of the restroom so I don't understand why the sink was so low. Generally this room made me feel like I was staying at a seedy motel rather than a Hilton.
Reasonably priced. Friendly staff. Nice rooms and comfortable bed with decent coffee in the rooms. We stayed on the airport side. Guess what though? Jets are very loud. Also, the garage is a bit like a coal mine with parking found somewhere near the earth's core
Room has a lot of facilities. Lobby is huge and luxurious. Breakfast was somehow rich. Staff are friendly. Rooms were much smaller that the value expected vs. price paid. The toilet was not properly clean since there were long hairs in the sink and on the floor. Bathroom is so small for a Hilton.. I would have liked to have a personal scale in the room to weigh the luggage prior to going to the airport.
Clean. Called housekeeping for shampoos twice, and the second time the lady says it's on the way but I was waiting until checked out and nothing happened.
There was a lot that hilton offered. To the point where we weren't able to do everything in the hotel for the 5 days we were there. The only thing that was a struggle, is the narrow-ish drive in for the front of the hotel. If there's a busy day or event, good luck getting through the entrance with a vehicle.
The location is great for a night's stay before departing/arriving from LAX. The rooms were also nice. You will be charged $9 to check in. That's right. The parking policy says you have 30 free minutes to park, get checked in, unload your bags, and then move your car. Unfortunately, it takes 45-60 minutes to find a spot two floors below the parking garage gate, take an elevator up four floors to lobby, check in, take a different elevator 10 floors up to your room, unload your bags, take an elevator 10 floors down to lobby, get on a different elevator for the garage, and then go down four floors to move the car. I was charged $9 for the hour of parking. I asked for a refund from the manager stating that I didn't think it was appropriate to pay $9 to check into a hotel. He responded by saying, "I'll see what I can do, but they don't care. They only care about the numbers." Buyer beware.

Cool building, nice facilities. The view is amazing and the location is a short ride to good food areas like Little Tokyo. Bathroom was tiny, there was a small piece of gum stuck on the carpet in my room.
Everything was beautiful. From our rooms, it is worth upgrading. To the rotating lounge to get a full view of the city. There was something to do all over the hotel. We only left to go to the NBA game! Food, entertainment, night life. The Westin Bonaventure has it all. Wish Starbucks carries their normal breakfast items.

The room was nicely updated. Hotel is under construction. The construction noise started at 8am. The staff was unable to compensate me because I booked the hotel through KAYAK.
Long term parking is next door. Major construction of hotel going on. Met by Security on the way to our room- apparently it it had been trashed by the previous guest and not cleaned. Why would you check us into that room? Dark roast coffee only- most hotels offer a medium.
Clean, quiet. Just coming off a red eye with my wife and kids for a few extra hours of sleep during our layover; the decor was a bit over the top and certainly not what we expected from a Hyatt Regency. Weird 1950's lighting. Limited bathroom privacy. The whole room felt like a spaceship. This property shouldn't be a Hyatt Regency; it felt more like a W or an edgier brand. Hyatt Regency at other properties feels classier; this was too modern and hip for a family running on fumes.
Juan in the bar was great. Got us food when we needed it and he was very pleasant, helpful and friendly. He should be commended for a job well done. He went out of his way to help us.
The place was extremely nice and well done. The accommodations were comfortable and nice. I purposefully told the attendant I would be leaving early and my guest will be staying until check out. She said she would make a note and one was not made. So then my friend was harassed and accused and made to feel like a criminal when he tried to get in the room and the key did not work. His belongings were held hostage while he was interrogated.

Staff was phenomenal. Very friendly and answered all of our questions. This was fromthe front desk to the cleaning ladies. Great place to stay. Our room was also one of the quietest that my wife and i have ever stayed in. The only negative was the construction but it's a remodel. Didn't hold that against them.

Location go LAX. Accommodated late check out. Overnight parking seemed a bit expensive. Cleaning staff came in multiple times with the do not disturb sign out.
The room was gorgeous, the lighting and furniture was very sleek and modern. The room I was in also had a 60"+ Tv which made for a great way to catch the end of the Sunday night football game in solitude. The room and hotel are great. However there was a $250 deposit on the room, this wasn't an issue for me, though I can see this being an issue for travelers not being financially prepared.

Airport hotel, so just to sleep. Two girl friends travelling together and everything worked. Nice bathroom with lots of counter space, good shower. Lighting for reading was focused and not intrusive to the other person, with convenient switches,. Check out was done on the phone in your room, airport shuttle buses ran every 20 minutes, 24 hours per day. Basically everything worked and was very convenient. Sometimes the simple things add up to a great stay. Bathroom door was a pocket door and very noisy, so there was no way to go to the washroom without waking up the other person.
This place is great. I paid $136 a night. Super nice staff. Parking in the structure was only $15 that's good because from other reviews I heard it was more. its super convenient and has a nice view of the airport (perfect for plane lovers). Before you check they send you a email asking you when you wanna check in, what view you want, how many pillows you need, and if your a single or double bed so that was pretty cool. Overall it's a very good place to stay. I will definetly book here again, only if I can't stay at Taylor swifts house hahaha Didn't have a fridge. Our receptionist Diamond was one of the best receptionist to accommodate us at the beginning. She made sure that all of our request regarding rooms and parking was taken care of . What a great host. The rooms were really clean and comfortable. The housekeeping staff were spot on. Every morning at 6:30 am during our stay, there was a group of protesters outside of our window marching, yelling on a loud horn and shouting. Apparently, they wanted the hotel staff to unionize and the hotel has pushed back against it. We only learn then why we received ear plugs on our bed at the beginning of our stay. Even though we were on the 8th floor, it still was very loud and annoying during our 3 day stay. It lasted for about 1 1/2 hours each day.
I like the travelers kit with the relaxation essential oils spray. It made it very easy to fall asleep for the four hours I was there.

It was easy to find, clean, friendly and comfortable. I didn't like the exorbitant parking fees and they had no record of my reservation through booking.com. Thankfully, the front desk staff were able to get me a room (and a rollaway :( ) and lowered my cost as a show of good business.

Newer updated rooms, great bed/etc. Good location for getting around areas of LA. Parking was a bit costly because of how close this hotel was to the airport but it was a nice location for getting around various areas of LA.
The location was convenient to the end purpose of our stay. The staff were poorly trained. We didn't deal with one person who seemed to even act like they cared we were. We travel a lot, and the way the staff behaved put them in the bottom 25% for customer service skills.
The staff was very friendly and accommodating to my needs. It is a very nice hotel, and we had a lovely stay. Met all of our needs The staff at the pool were a bit rude and not attentive. Took about 45 minutes to get our drink and food after we ordered it, and no apologies were given.
While the staff was outstanding, the peace and quite was priceless, especially with the chaos of LA Live! The mattress was a little firm for my liking, but the bedding was exceptional!
Clean, modern, friendly staff (at least the ones I had contact with). Convenient location for LA Live events obviously, which was our reason for staying here. A bit overpriced if you ask me. The parking is absolutely ridiculous!!! $42 a night! I've paid less for rooms! For the price you pay to stay here parking should be free or at best a minimum fee for guests since there are no alternative parking areas. Room service, way overpriced as usual but the added fees and taxes are ridiculous and the food is just ok.
Staff at check excellent. Location next to Staples Center. One block from the 'Pantry' historic diner. Ordered lamb meatballs at the bar and they were barely warm. TV in room has mostly grainy low definition channels. Scanning room key in elevator to access floor worked after the third attempt. I won't stay here again. Expected more from this brand.
The room was nice and bed was comfortable. The parking is such a rip off. For $42 I almost wanted to go and sleep in my car.

Clean facilities. 1. Entrance loop is too narrow with too few valet workers. If they pull up your car, you will be at the back of the loop. You have to wait for half a dozen cars in front of you before you can exit! 2. Extremely uncomfortable beds that offer no support. 3. Staff manages tasks does not offer service level befitting the price of the hotel.
Nice lobby, location, staff. Ordered room service, burger was pretty good. Felt like I was in a clean place. It was a bit too expensive. There's not much to do near by. Valet was ridiculously priced. And yeah that's all..

Location of hotel for what I wanted was good. Disappointed to pay for a 4 star hotel and get a 3 star room. I was at the omni for a meeting and extended my stay over the weekend. I was moved to a lower quality room and paid current hotel rates. David

Loved the comfortable bed, friendliness of staff, and especially the convenient courtesy car! While I normally use Lyft or Uber, I actually found the courtesy car faster and the drivers more knowledgable about the area. I tried both Lyft and Uber and both drivers took long and got lost. If you are here on business, the courtesy car is the way to go, especially as the drivers know the area well, especially the places you need to get to quickly for work. Lack of spa facilities. I booked a facial with the Omni Spa expecting there to be actual spa facilities since the price of a facial was as high as any resort spa (sauna, steam room, jacuzzi, waiting room with tea and snacks) but there was none of that. I went down early to the spa area and was told to just come a few minutes before my appointment (there is no where to really hang out for an extended period). The pool outside was uninviting as it was drizzling. And there was just the fitness room down there and a small waiting area for the spa treatment rooms. The facial was very good, but I was just surprised/disappointed with the "spa" area.

From the first day we came, the staff was very friendly and helpful with all our needs. Our dogs were given a warm welcome and the front desk accommodated us with recommendations on where to shop and walk our animals. We will always come back here in the luxury hotel for its staff and location. We liked our views, location,staff and walk friendly property.
One day parking for $44 is just insanely expensive as you can get all day parking for $10 with 5 mins walk.

They come and don't change the sheets and never clean garbage and tissues if any is on the floor they leave it ! And once they left the cleaning stuff in our bathroom. I hated the room service so bad! And the complimentary water one day they put the other they don't ! It's just bad service

My husband and I stayed at Lux after the concert at Staple Center. The hotel is right across the street from Staple Center. There are lots of restaurants close by too. The front desk could not find our reservation but I was lucky to have print out with me. Then, we had to wait until after 3.45 pm. to check-in. I wonder if the hotel don't have enough housekeepers .
Hotel itself is beautiful, rooftop bar is pretty cool, attached to wonderful Theater. Looks like a broke New York hipster's studio apartment. All unfinished concrete and the bed looks and feels like a futon. Parking is an extra $38. Only stayed here for convenience to theater. Absurd for the price.
love the food and the staff here! room was clean and efficient! The room was small for the price, and the hallways need new carpet already, also the common area walls could use some fresh paint. Not a deal breaker, but for $300 a night these items should be relatively perfect.
Great place. I like the Ace. Cool rooftop bar. My only hang-up is that there was some serious construction outside. I would have liked to have known this ahead of time. I'll definitely go back after the construction is finished.

Delivered stylish service and amenities without sacrificing the professionalism of a traditional hotel. Downstairs restaurant particularly good. No closing door on bathroom is highly awkward. Not cute if someone joins you in your room.
The restaurant was great. The beds and linens comfy. City feel is exciting. If you have an eastern facing room I hope you are a morning person.

The hotel is very nice, in front has a metro station and a drugstore.Macy's is aside and there is a lot of options of cafeteria and dinners near of hotel. The wireless internet is very expensive!!!

We stayed at the Sheraton downtown to be within walking distance to a hockey game at Staples Centre. The hotel location was great for this. The hotel staff were very helpful and friendly. We stayed in a renovated room which was very nice. The Sheraton hotels always seem to have the most comfortable beds in any hotel. The bed was the most comfortable of all the hotels we stayed at during our week long vacation. Linens and towels were great as well. We did not like the fact that we had to pay for wifi. A hotel of this star rating and price should have complimentary wifi for guests, especially since it is located downtown and I presume there would be many guests there on business. We also found that when we attempted web access without wifi that there was little reception on the 21 floor, so we were without web access that day. Our room was located 2 doors away from the elevators which was noisy. The water pressure in the shower was quite terrible.
The bed was very comfortable I did not like that we could not crack open the window. There was no pool.
Nobody picks telephone at the reception. The front desk staff are either very few in number or they are not trained. I never got phone calls connected to my room inspite of calling the front desk manytimes. Due to this I had lots of problem.
I enjoyed the location of being downtown, with easy acess from the freeway. The staff particularly in the cafe was outstanding. I did not like the fact of not fully disclosing the cost per night for the room; Exam. the room was 115. plus tax. Great. Terrible, Occupany tax approximately $16. Parking, 28.00 per day. If one would have known those additional cost up front, one could have made additional accomodations. The money was not the object, the surprise element of not disclosing the true amount. I felt like this was a ploy of the unknown!Plus, I am approximately 6'3 and enjoy a bath tub. This room did not have a tub, instead a phobic shower that one could not litterally move around in. This was majorily dissappointing, however, hotel should be about comfort and convienece. Other than that, the Sheraton would do!

Best place to stay when going to Universal Studios, and I go a lot. There's a free shuttle that takes you to the entrance of City Walk or you can walk there in less than 10 minutes via the pedestrian bridge.

Close to Universal Studios The outside hallway carpet was greasy and muddy. Even after having them clean it, we continued to bring grease and grime and dirt into our hotel room. Our entry walkway was pretty disgusting because of it.

Staff was great, location to other attractions The parking garage was pricey considering I paid 200.00 a night should get a discount when staying. The elevators were all not in service. Breakfast was too expensive for a weeks stay. I couldn't find a salon inside for service.
The room was spacious...good pillows. Good gym, nice pool. Two elevators were out (and have been for 3 years!), making trips up and down sometimes very lengthy. You can call the operator each time you go to the elevator asking to be picked up, but how ridiculous for a hotel of this caliber. Restaurant food was boring. All three places to eat at the hotel had the same menu, with tiny differences. The first meal or two it is fine, you can find alternate foods to eat, but after a few days, a change is necessary. It cost $18 for a so-called, all you can eat 'continental breakfast'...yogurt, fruit, cereal, muffins and coffee! This Hilton is near the Universal City Walk, all franchise restaurants so no good food nearby for real foodies...if you like buffets with all you can eat, this is your place.

They allowed us an early check-in on a day room. The shuttle was quick and efficient. The restaurant was slow and disorganized. The fact that they charged to print stuff out and didn't have a true business center was annoying.
It located near the airport and perfect for travellers like us. They run constant shuttles to and from the airport and a familiar with business travellers. The room condition was below standard. The drains in the bathroom flowed very slowly and the showering facilities were a trial to use. The bathroom basin drained so slowly we had to take turns washing.
Terrible experience 1)given confirmation that room will be away from elevators and quite, but the room no. 364 I was allocated, was right next to elevators and infront of maid/cleaning room 2)bathroom door lock didn't work. Door kept opening up 3)thin walls in the room. Could hear the shower noise in the next room 4) unnecessarily delay at check-in counter, because there was another person with same last name as mine had made reservation. Most absurd excuse I had heard ever 5) manager too rude to even come out at check in counter , the lady at the counter had to take my phone inside some room to show it to her manager the confirmation msg I got after I had checked in online earlier 6) found a hair in the milk served at breakfast. When asked to replace it, the server didn't even feel guilty to know about the hair 7) TV remote not present in the room.had to call room services and request one
Everything it sucks
The quiet. We checked in a little early. As soon as we checked in we were told a room wouldn't be ready for at least an hour and with a big business group in the property it was hard to find a space to relax let alone get a drink at the bar. The lobby hallway and bar were so crowded that we had to leave the hotel to get a drink to be able to relax after a long drive in from a neighboring state. Upon return we were directed to a room on the 2nd floor that had a bed that was so flattened and sunken in that myself and my partner rolled into one an other. This was truly unsatisfactory and we expected more staying at a shariton property. This was an issue that could visually be detected by housekeeping or maintenance but was disregarded and ignored. We then spoke to front desk and asked them for a room transfer and after some push back were redirected to a different room. Definitely not something worth going through while on vacation. Makes us want to stay with a competitor to see if the same challenges are met with (Hilton, embassy, etc.)
nothing I arrived 11:30pm, as planned. The hotel acknowledged that I had a prepaid reservation, but said: NO ROOM. NO REFUND. NO OFFER TO PROVIDE A ROOM AT ANOTHER PROPERTY (it's Starwood, which has 1,000 hotels in L.A.). Avoid at all cost.
The lobby and bar area (bartenders) was excellent and friendly. Looks nice on main floor. Once you get into your room it's tiny. Washrooms are small and out of date. Definetly clean though. Good for 1 night stay only while between travelling places. Tub leaked water all over washroom floor. Tiny washroom out of date. Vending machines on all the floors were sold out of all beverages.
There was no heat in the room. Management promised to have it repaired the next day but no such luck. My son left sick with a cold due to lack of heat. We stayed at the hotel for 5 nights with no heat.
The location was great, the hotel is beautiful, especially the pool. I didn't rent a car so I liked how easy it was for me to take an uber The bed pillows were bad so I didn't sleep well and the were no outlets near the bed so I could charge my phone and none near the bathroom counter so I could power my curling irons
Bathroom was uncomfortably small. Could not open door with someone standing at sink.
The hotel was clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. Cookies were unlimited. I would come back. NO POOL???? This is LA! 85 degree and NO Pool? Seriously? Also parking was crazy high! $35 a night to park at a hotel that I'M PAYING to stay at is just stupid. There should be complimentary parking. Ecspecially because they don't even guarantee your cars safely! What am i paying you for??
Booked the hotel and got a confirmation email. When going to check in at 11:30 at night I was told I had no reservation. After being in the phone for an hour with customer service, I was told my reservation was actually in Wisconsin. WISCONSIN?! Thanks for making me stranded in downtown LA at midnight. I will never use this service again.
Parking too expensive. Wish breakfast was included at the price paid for hotel.
Bed and pillows were ok. Carpet was in good condition. Bath tub drain surrounded by rust. Sink had chips. Toilet paper was very scratchy.

Staff was friendly Facilities need upkeeping. Toilet wouldn't flush & we were unable to switch the shower on.
I liked the downtown location the price was good for that type of hotel. Free cookies at check in are nice but they didn't have any :( I watched some homeless person wipe their behind a block away on my arrival. The late night staff was grumpy and non-helpful.

They sold my reservation and wanted me to stay in a Sheraton in Universal city putting me about an hour out with traffic and my appointment was at 530pm in downtown LA and 7am at the LA hotel the next morning. They blamed Kayak and stated that "you" sell reservations when open reservations don't exist. They took no blame or responsibility. I had to stay in another hotel near LA hotel because my appointment was at 7am there at LA hotel! I want my money back
Extremely not happy with my stay. The staff were the worst. Once we arrived they didn't open the door, the staff were talking together and ignore us. We took our bags by ourselves. We paid $35 for the valet parking per day and it wasn't worth the price at all. We have to wait for a long time to get the car. Also, the staff treated us very badly. If it's four stars hotel, they should have more sophisticated staff. Not worth the price. Not realistic in the reviews.
Great bar and restaurants on site. Great little shop with excellent variety of food and drink options along with adorable gifts. Great room service - yummy breakfast! Good customer service. King size room was great with no issues. Only minor comment we could make would be the hotel elevators - seem to be under renovation which is hopefully a good thing as they were a bit shaky and scary with one half of the elevators completely out of service.
It's cheaper than most LA Hotels. Have to pay for parking and wifi. They would allow guests to check in before me (my reservation). Have to check out at front desk.

Room and bed were large and comfortable. The in-room coffee left something to be desired. The small packets of powdered creamer were barely enough for a small cup of coffee, even using both of them. And there were no glasses in the room . . just plastic cups.
Comfortable, pretty clean, LOOKS luxurious, all the basic amenities , good location (but you still need a taxi or a car) expired elevator inspection certificates, decor and interior design is booshie - you can tell they threw some decor over the old hotel, small pool, not enough towels, expensive for price

This hotel is in transition and making an very honest effort to make it into a destination for all travelers. They are doing a good job. change takes time and with that. Elevators are not up to par and there is a feeling of being in a "remodel" but the staff is great and I would return without pause ATM was a real pain. Have to follow up with my bank because it did the entire transaction but for giving me my money. Parking being a separate charge is a miss too

The rooms were big as well as the bathrooms. The hotel itself was decorated nicely. When I was there, all but one elevator was broken and it would take 15 minutes or more for an elevator to come. There were lines of 20 people or more waiting on the elevator. It was awful. Also, valet is slow. The only parking is valet for $35/night which is fine, however it would take way too long to get your car. They weren't organized very well.
tHEY DID NOT HAVE MY RESERVATION BECAUSE ALTHOUGH I BOOKED IT IN kYAK THIS WAS ACTUALLY PROCESSED THROUGH A 3RD PARTY VENDOR . it took 45 minutes to get it straightened out.
The lobby what's nice as a matter of fact that was the best part of the hotel The rooms were too small and my windows were very dirty had to keep the shutters closed

THIS HOTEL IS BEAUTIFUL, THE STAFF WAS GREAT, GOOD LOCATION, FOR DOWNTOWN BUSINESS. THE BATHROOM WAS OLD, AND SMALL, NO COUNTER SPACE FOR TOILETRIES, IT ALSO HAD NOT BEEN CLEANED VERY WELL, I'M BLONDE, AND AS SOON AS I WALKED INTO THE BATHROOM, THERE WAS A LONG BLACK HAIR IN THE SINK. STAFF DID COME RIGHT AWAY TO CLEAN. YOU COULD NOT WORK THE REMOTE CONTROL FOR THE TV FROM THE BED, BATTERIES MAY HAVE BEEN LOW, I DON'T KNOW. ICE MACHINE, WAS ON THE OTHER SIDE OF THE HOTEL, AND DOWN ONE FLIGHT OF STAIRS.

Love the grandeur and art of the lobby, tea room, cognac room. Concierge very good. Please never renovate this feel - really inspiring! Loved the live performance of pianist. Very comfortable bed and pillows. Love the shutters on window. My shower never got hot! Room by elevator noisy with people coming and going. No luggage rack? Wifi was really slow and unreliable.
While in los Angeles for the day me and my girlfriend decided to stay the night. Found this place in kayak and it was a great deal so we stayed. Best decision of my trip! Didn't like that parking was so expensive but you take the good with the bad,
I don't like booking into a boutique hotel expecting the same basic accommodations as you might find in a Motel 6 and finding that they're going to charge you for every little thing. $10/night for WiFi in a hotel that charges hundreds per night per room is straight up ridiculous and I will not book into this hotel ever again for that reason. The staff did their jobs, but the only one who offered a smile was a maid. All the front desk staff were incredibly dour.
The staff responded swiftly and courteously to complaints. Grand setting in a historic building. Old style facilities, very sound sensitive, but in the progress of remodelling.
The room was very comfortable and in general very nice. The staff was extremely kind. The cleaning staff would always smile and say good morning, and the receptionist was very accommodating. I had many issues actually getting a room upfront, but the receptionist was thankfully very patient and helpful. It's a nice hotel, but it feels like it hasn't received a renovation within the past two decades. Mostly in the bathroom, the faucet and shower are very old style, and an upgrade would be nice.
The lobby was beautiful. The room I stayed in was old. Had a cob web in the corner. Charged $45 for valet parking without notifying me explicitly. Charged 10 a day for wifi access.
This historic hotel is currently undergoing restoration but management and staff has made it relatively unobtrusive. Staff was very congenial and attentive. If the price is right we'd most definitely would stay here again.
The spa is very good and the heated pool. The brunch was also good.

Interior decorations, bartenders, the lady at Altitude that walked my friends and I to the daybeds, and the drinks Customer service, mixing up the reservations, the room smelling like cigarette smoke after have it serviced, luggage bags were not delivered until after 3 hours of checking in, and the hand held shower head would leak water when the dial to only have the shower head was on.
Very nice room. Great facilities. Terribly overpriced. Nothing is included in the base price. The fact that the room was well over $400 a night one would imagine that the wifi and breakfast ought to be included. The bar and restaurant are also too expensive for what they offer in terms of quality and choice.

staff was nice bed was comfy didnt sleep all night because of the air filter in the room hadnt been cleaned since the hotel was open and got a bloody nose at 4am because the air was so stale, fan didnt work, etc. now am so sick because of it

Unique Place. Beds are comfortable - very interesting vibe - the staff was the greatest. Great Restaurant "Commissary" Very fun & unique. Rooms are way too loud with street traffic and club music noice! I'm sure if you get a higher floor it is better.,
The view was great. Comfortable beds. The look of the rooms/ hotel was hip. Helpful and friendly staff. Some of the fixtures in my room didn't function properly.
Unique features with hip atmosphere. Very clean and location was great. I had to change the room because it was next to the gym. My bed kept vibrating every time someone was using the gym. Also, the floor near the door way was wet throughout my stay. I don't why though.

Lived in K-town for 4 years and left 10 years ago. Even though area has changed a bit, love the area. Lots of GREAT restaurants, bars, nightlife. The hotel is trendy, urban and a great overall feel. I wish they had specials more often.
This hotel features an original gritty industrial loft ambiance. The scene and Pot restaurant are authentic homage to the character of the neighborhood, and the Commissary greenhouse restaurant is a unique and innovative concept. The pool area is a bit sparse and could use some prettying up / landscaping.
I really thought the staff was really nice and very helpful even with young kids it was a fun place to stay
The Commisary staff, environment, and food were amazing. The room itself was well designed and had amazing views. Valet was quick and attentive. The elevators were slow and crowded. The brass handles in the shower were molded and rusty. The mattress was one of the worst I've slept on. The rooms were missing essentials like a coffee machine and toothpaste. I would have rather had both than the optional t-shirts for purchase.

Possibly one of the greatest hotels I've stayed at within the Los Angeles county. From a friendly courteous staff, to an impeccably clean room, Sofitel has lived up to its standards as well as exceededing them. -The staff went above and beyond to make sure our stay was as luxurious and comfortable as possible with their luggage assistance, complementary calls, rapid response to requests, and much more. -The room was spotless and featured many extra amenities not normally included in other hotels. -A glass window separating the bedroom from the shower exemplified the uniqueness of this hotel and offers a romantic setting for couples. -To top this stay off, the chefs truly know their way around a kitchen. Our breakfast was delightful and very artful. I highly recommend all guests to attend the restaurants or enjoy a meal within your room. Overall, a wonderful experience at the hotel Sofitel. I will gladly be returning in the near future as well as forwarding friends and colleagues. No comment
It was comfortable enough for me to return for a second time and felt right at home. The staff is genuinely nice without being gratuitous. Love the outdoor cafe for breakfast.
Arrived at hotel at 4:30 pm after a 7 hour drive. Our room was not yet ready. Asked if we could wait at the lounge. The lounge and restaurant were reserved for a private party. They recommended finding an restaurant on the street nearby. We just drove for 7 hours and didn't want to search for a "place" to wait somewhere outside of the hotel. We finally were allowed to our room...which was nothing as shown in pictures. It was dark, dingy with no seating beside the bed. Because the restaurant and lounge were "reserved", and we were too tired to venture out to eat, our only option was room service. We ordered chicken Caesar salad. Although they said it would take 45 minutes...it arrived in 15. A salad with chicken breast on the side. Much to our disgust...as we sliced the chicken to add to the salad, it was not just under cooked...it was RAW! completely inedible. It took 4 calls to room service and guest services to have someone come to our room to witness the meal, acknowledge the error and remove it from the room. This room was 350.00 per night with valet...I've had better treatment in a 75.00 a night motel. I will never revisit this Hotel.

Great location, cool hip vibe Very small room, Unresponsive service, air conditioning in room broken, shower in bathroom was actually worse than an old holiday inn. Things were just broken down, dirty, and nobody seemed to care. For a luxury hotel, a huge disappointment.
