Pros: Nice hotel in very nice country side surroundings
Cons: We had a little argue about the booking price offered through your services and the price that normally should be calculated It was about a few € , so it's not about the money just about your price rates and the hotel We should not be in between That's all But all is well that ends well

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very nice place, close to the market place; Clean room and modern. Breakfast was very nice.
Cons: The bed was too soft; unfortunately we were there while having very high temperatures and the room was under the rooftop so the room temperature was very high and the fan provided was very noisy so not a very good night sleep…

Cons: A bit of noise from the floor above, but it is a very old building and a minor issue.

Pros: The piece and quiet of the location. An excellent breakfast. Good bed. Superfriendly hostess. And of course the superfriendly dog !!! Every question was answered and if they could help you out with something, they did. The privacy of the guests is honoured so that you have to ask yourself if you want clean towels or the room cleaned. I liked this system VERY much !! I will certainly recommend this B&B to my friends.
Cons: The room could have been a bit bigger.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Shower is not warm. Room is a bit under ventilated.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect
7.5 Good
Pros: The breakfast was excellent, plenty of selection and for a small B&B to have proper eggs and bacon was a big bonus. They also accommodated gluten and dairy free (though they added a charge for this). The beds were comfortable and the rooms were simple but clean. They let us use the common area to sit as a group which was nice.
Cons: The owners smoked in the common area (where breakfast is served) so if the smell bothers you, don't stay here. As mentioned in the positives, they accommodated dairy and gluten free quite well but then charged us for the food they had purchased.

9.5 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast was nice. And the restaurant for dinner provided really tasty food! The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. We will come back to enjoy the area (and restaurant) at other seasons of the year.
Cons: Since it is an older building, it was a bit noisy in the evenings. Some earplugs did solve the matter though. So not a problem for us, but maybe for others.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel located not so far from the Maasmechelen Village (~15min by foot). The room we got was very nice and comfortable. The included breakfast was excellent and we were pampered by our hostess.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: We have stayed here twice in the last month. One time we had dinner with a group of 34 people (menu choices made beforehand) and it was excellent: all were served almost at the same time, and the food itself was very good. Very good price to quality ratio of the restaurant. Rooms are spacious and clean, and up to what we expected. Very quiet (inside and outside). Personnel is friendly and young. Alltogether this 'castle' is less chique than you would expect however is an option with good price quality ratio.
Cons: Breakfast simple and no fresh fruit. Beds are very warm: duvet too thick and matress too warm, even after removing the plastic layer under the sheets. Windows can be left open as it is very quiet outside.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The location was very pleasant. It had a very peaceful atmosphere and is set in lovely surroundings. The hotel is only a few minutes away from the town of Maaseik which again is very pleasant. The staff were also very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Very hot when we stayed so had to use the fan. Unfortunately it was noisy. There was no air conditioning.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful place with a brilliant and very personal atmosphere - defitnitely to be recommended. The staff is kind and really helpful.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Gorgeous, quiet setting and accommodation. Traditional elegance all the way through! Beautiful spacious room and bathroom. Delicous food in a stunning diring room with beautiful linens. The grounds are very special and, given time, a peaceful place for a walk. Very royal feeling!
Cons: Having to leave!
9.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was great. They opened it over an hour early because we had to leave for work. Awesome customer service. Checked us out night before since we had to leave early in the morning. Grounds were fantastic - awesome place for a cigar and a beer.
Cons: Wifi was a little sketchy at times in my room at end of building. Room was above the kitchen so always warm and there was no air conditioning for the two hot days.
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Lovely grand place in beautiful garden out of all the city noise but close enough to be there in a few minutes’ drive. Good value for money as we were a couple with one teenager. We also had a lovely late afternoon picnic in the garden.
Cons: Garden could be more manicured a bit further from the house but overall a pleasant stay.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Excellent restaurant for diner (good choice of wines). Nice location and setting. Friendly staff. Huge and free parking. Also for bicycles. Elevator to access the rooms.
Cons: Rooms are well kept but can use an update. No airco (we stayed there during one of the hottest periods until this year). Breakfast in the morning does not reach the same level we experienced from the chef at diner time.
9.3 Excellent
Pros: The Dinner is perfect and people should expect more than 2 hours to finish. So just take the time if you reserve the dinner. The personal is very friendly and give us a bigger room as we are a family with a teenager. Thanks for that!
Cons: Nothing, everything is well!
9.5 Excellent
Pros: Looked absolutely stunning arriving in the evening! Well-lit, moat and fountain Super quick check-in The staff very friendly, helpful and welcoming Lovely breakfast
Cons: I thought the gardens were going to be beautiful ...but looked very 'wintered' and not much of a statement at all. Didn't come for these though so didn't upset me!

Pros: Owers also run a small restaurant, although i had not reserved, they prepared me a wonderful dinner. also the breakfast was good taken care of.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: A lovely family run hotel, intimacy of a bed and breakfast but the anonymity of a small hotel. The main areas were nicely designed, great breakfast, access to teas and coffee at all times and an honesty bar. Very large bed, doors opening to overlook the pool and countryside behind. Lovely shower and separate toilet. Outdoor swimming pool looked inviting but due to rain we didn’t use it. On check out we discovered a flat tyre on one of our bikes, and were quickly helped with finding the local bike shop. Very very kind and helpful. Would recommend.
Cons: We had no luck with wi-if in our room or in the public space which was a shame but this didn’t deflect from our stay.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostess was very accommodating when we indicated the stairs to the attic were too steep for my mother & gave us a ground floor room instead. The attached restaurant was exhalent & breakfast also very good.
Cons: We found the lack of tea / coffee making facilities unfortunate. This does not appear to be the norm in Belgium. When you have been driving many hours being able to make a cuppa at the end of the day not a luxury but an essential.
7.0 Good
Pros: We stayed for 1 night. We were hiking in the Hoge Kempen and this place (at 20 car minutes) was the only reasonably priced hotel we could find. Basically not much wrong, room was clean, staff was friendly, small restaurant at the location with good food and decent price (but check opening times, I believe only Thursday-Sunday). More B&B than hotel.
Cons: It served our purpose of just eat and sleep for one night well. Yet, the premise can be disappointing if you want more than that; our room was in an annex behind the owner's house, separated by a tiny non-inspiring courtyard and our view was on the closed screens of the owners house. Nothing romantic/historic/industrial design here. Direct surrounding is just Flemish village style homes. We didn't explore the neighboorhood. Booking promised 35 m2 room, actual room was around 16 m2, no minibar.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice. Good breakfast. Friendly staff..
8.3 Excellent
Pros: I love the comfortable bed and the heating
Cons: The room not big enough ,

Pros: Room was comfortable and clean. Dinner was reasonably priced and what I had was tasty but breakfast was stingy considering the room price. But at least the restaurant was open on Sundays. Staff were very helpful. No tea making facilities.
Cons: Breakfast was stingy
7.5 Good
Pros: Breakfast was satisfactory,
5.0 Okay
Pros: - good friendly staff - friendly area, locals were very helpful for directions
Cons: - The cleanliness was abit shocking as soon as I arrived, a couple of hairs on the sheets and both me and my mother were bitten a couple of times during the night. - No lifts were available in other words we both had to carry our luggage through 2 sets of stairs. - Limited breakfast menu, don't expect to much - Leaflets and menus within bedrooms were not translated into english, had to constantly call reception for assistance. - The hotel itself doesn't hold any type of events or nightlife for guests. - The sets of stairs aren't carpet so just be careful when travelling with children. - No minibuses from the hotel to any destinations and vice versa .i.e. shopping malls. airport - Biggest disappointment is that there was a slope in our room almost looking like a loft, when asked for a room change the receptionist wasn't too keen on doing so. -
