10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just a lovely, elegant, comfortable, clean place to stay. Impressively friendly and helpful staff.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were lovely, really helpful and friendly. The room was great and the bed was very comfortable.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Intimate hotel spotlessly clean staff very polite and went over and above to help me with anything I needed 1min to the beach and promenade - seafood excellent in the village
Cons: Breakfast was served in the lovely bar area but a limited snack menu and they didn’t serve dinner
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Facilities; Location; People.
Cons: nothing to add :-)
8.8 Excellent
Pros: This is a very nice hotel with large and spacious rooms. The hotel itself is just a stones throw from the beach and a nice promenade with a bars and restaurants.
Cons: We may have been unlucky with the day that we stayed, a Tuesday towards the end of the summer, but one of the nicer recommended restaurants on the sea-front happened to be closed. Although this is probably not unexpected in a small village.
8.3 Excellent
Cons: Breakfast started late and took too long to serve.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location is at the other end of the beech from the town which for us was a bonus. Just a lovely 10 minute walk along the seafront and welcomed after a meal in one of the fabulous seafood restaurants. We were a party of 4 and all loved the ambience and the friendly staff. Would go back in a heartbeat!
Cons: Nothing not to like! The town is a good location for the Camino but like most towns in the region is in dire need of some investment. Some of the buildings are an mess in terms of architecture!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel. Close to the seaside along a downward sloping street. Friendly staff. The room has a traditional feel to it (lots of wood).
Cons: When having breakfast you have to pay for every single extra item you take (there is no self-service buffet). This is not a very customer-friendly way of doing things in this otherwise quite nice hotel.
5.8 Okay
Cons: I have been travelling and living abroad since I was a baby. And I know this area quite well as my family is originally from here. I have never encountered a hotel where they charge you for everything you consume during breakfast. Taking into account the hotel is not exactly cheap for what and where it is, they could at least include breakfast. Not charge you for (ex. A piece of toast 1.50€, banana 1€, cherries 1€, cheese 2€, butter...coffee) and so on. Also, having someone looking at what you eat and checking you haven’t taken anything else is just weird. The last day we stayed the “boss” told off the waitress for not paying attention and checking that we weren’t taking anything more... Weird. The bedrooms are comfortable but are by no means soundproofed. We could clearly hear every single time someone in an adjoining room got up, went to the bathroom, burped etc... If I were the hotel management I would change this.
