The location and the furniture inside the hotel
Stuff was unfriendly and hardly spoke German. In the Restaurant the service was not adequate for a 4 star hotel. Furthermore the food had no opportunities for vegans and vegetarians. At the breakfast the yoghurt was sour. In the Room the towels were very old and the soap was provided in a refillable bottle. That does not look very classy. For a price of more than 150€ per night I expect a higher class of service and higher quality interior. Hence my review is in a lower category. I have been to several hotels already in Mayerhofen -also 3 star- and the service was definitely the lowest here in Neuhaus.

Beautiful, characterful hotel. Our room was in a separate building over the road from the main hotel with very convenient parking. Room was spacious, clean and well designed with a balcony giving a great view. Centre of town and also great access for cycling along the river.

Lots of facilities at the hotel and friendly staff.
Beds were very uncomfortable and it was very noisy with traffic when windows were open at night. No air-con.

Pool and garden area truly lovely. We stayed in an appartment rather than the main hotel but we’re still supplied with a basket of beach towels and bathrobes (including smaller sizes for our 9 & 11 year olds). Everything in the appartment itself was modern and clean. Great bathroom and fantastic views from the balconies. Loved it.
We are in apparent #18 and you should be aware that the kitchen works well as a place to eat but is not a big lounge. This is not really a criticism as we were aware that this might be the case when we booked. If this is important to you then some of the other apartments have large lounges I believe but will be more expensive.
