10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything! Located in the charming little town of Espere, it was a peaceful home away from home. Lucy and Leif went far beyond normal hospitality and there were surprises around every corner. You MUST have Lucy’s beautiful dinner! Leif bakes his own croissants for breakfast! Lovely garden, my own little patio and separate entrance, drinks and snacks, washing machine, lively conversation and an overall warm and welcoming feeling. Sincere thanks to Lucy and Leif for all the extras you provided. Le Balcón was the highlight lodging of my trip!
Cons: Nothing

Pros: We especially enjoyed the fact that our hosts were most welcoming and exceptionally hospitable making our stay relaxing and very sociable. The evening meal and breakfast were of an outstanding quality and illustrated the point that absolutely nothing was too much trouble for these kind people.

Pros: Incredible food.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The employees are perfect! They treat you like queens and kings! They are extremely polite, kind and loving. The young woman by the name of Alexa is very very thoughtful and kind. She wants to make sure you are well taken care of. The facilities are very chic, luxurious and upper scale. The restaurant is divine and the food is delicious. Everything is perfect. The view is stunning! It is all medieval and the look of the castle inside and outside are very medieval. I loved everything! I will come back!
Cons: It is difficult to find but it is not the castle’s fault. The city has not put proper signs yet and the castle has already asked. You must telephone them when you get to Mercuès! The city is very nice also. It is not far at all once you arrive in Mercuès.

Pros: Just about everything. Lovely garden....excellent staff. The dinner and breakfast were excellent. Our room had beautiful views.
9.2 Excellent

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Love the ambiance of this truly romantic castle setting. So classy, dignified and a dream come true.

9.6 Excellent
Cons: tub had no enclosure at all to use hand shower.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place, the quietness, the excellent Le Duèze restaurant (1 star in the Michelin)

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Art nouveau / art deco decor was beautiful and was tastefully combined with some modern art. The staff were exceptionally helpful and accommodating. a simple.walk to the old town
Cons: A coffee.machine in the room might have been good but the staff quickly and willing brought coffee to the room
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This early 20th-century hotel is a very charming hotel indeed. As one of its guests mentioned somewhere on a booking site, his/her room had this Agatha Christie feel. So had mine. Obviously other rooms may evoke different emotions. With Cahors centre within easy reach and consequently many good restaurants within walking distance (besides, of course, many other cultural highlights) one stands out: Le Terminus' own restaurant, Le Balandre with a nice terrace where summer is perfect for lunch and dinner. Apart from its well-known wine cellar one might also pay attention to the eaux de vie cabinet, stocked with the superior products of distilleries from the Alsace as JP Metté and Hepp.
6.7 Good
Pros: excellent service , fantastic bath , ample breakfast
7.3 Good
Pros: The owners were very helpful, answered all our questions about cahors and recommended a wonderful restaurant as an alternative to the terrific on at terminus since we had eaten there on our first night. Though not luxurious, terminus is coomfortable and clean and I would recommend it to anyone visiting cahors.

Pros: The very nice bathroom and politeness of the staff.
Cons: Breakfast was too expensive.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely, old world chqrm qnd frinedliness qnd helpfulness of stqff.
Cons: All just fine
4.7 Okay
Pros: Very warm welcome: staff very friendly. Easy walk into Cahors city centre. Reasonable free parking. Dog-friendly! Bar and restaurant very comfortable but beware wine prices! Pity the "beauty" of the downstairs areas was not repeated in the bedrooms, at least not ours!
Cons: Room quite small; room not completely clean - bath taps needed good scrub or replacing, dust in corners and on radiators etc. For such an average room the mini bar prices were MAD! 6 euros for a small gin - we don't object in more 'luxurious' surroundings.
7.3 Good
Pros: Lovely hotel with good room and central location
Cons:
7.6 Good
Pros: Helpfulness and friendlyness of staff. Clean and interesting rooms with a balcony overlooking sunny trees.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff on reception were very pleasant and helpful. The room was very clean and a good size. The location of the hotel was very convenient.
Cons: The Restaurant was a great disappointment. The Manager was the epitome of the surly frenchman of caricature, rude, unshaven and uncommunicative. His staff were obviously terrified of him. We had made a reservation for a riverside table on the balcony and though there were tables free on our arrival he refused to allow us to sit. No explanation was forthcoming. We left and walked into the city and ate at an excellent restaurant in the Place Gambetta.

6.3 Good
Pros: Locality.
Cons: The fact that parking is a serious problem some days of the week was not made clear. With a disability it made things very difficult.
7.9 Good
Pros: Excellent hotel and restaurant staff especially Emma. Excellent location.
Cons: Plug in jacuzzi didn’t function. The door handle on the room entrance door was falling off. Cobwebs and a dead moth on the floor in the room when we first got in. Cleaning staff not doing a good job.
6.7 Good
Pros: Restaurant and food was great, particularly Emma, very friendly. We ate there twice mainly because of Emma.
Cons: The key code on the door did not work on Monday night. There was nobody at the other end of the intercom. We were locked out. Good job my friends were staying down the street. One of them spoke French and was able to call the hotel number after several attempts and get an emergency key code that did work. Otherwise we would have spent the night with friends. I believe this has happened to other people as well, reading other reviews. Poor show from what had been a good stay up till the last night.

Pros: Quiet
Cons: Don't speak English
8.3 Excellent
Pros: great food , great price !
Cons: All good
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The sparkling pool and cool garden were much appreciated during consecutive days of very high temperatures and the air-conditioning in the room was every effective making our stay very comfortable when it was 35 outside! The restaurant served outstanding food at all menu price levels. We enjoyed the wine and pression beer in the heat in the shade of the garden restaurant to accompany our leisurely meal. Restaurant is popular so do make a reservation.
Cons: Outstanding value for money and we will stay here again!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Lovely location, good food.
Cons: Fridge in the room
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The food in restaurant was fantastic and it was always busy. Good value and lots of choice with an excellent standard of cooking. We had the menu twice in 3 days. Small but clean pool perfect after a hot day sightseeing. Hotel is Very good value for price. Rooms are plain and simple in annex but handy for pool.
Cons: Very small room could do with some modernisation, but was outweighed by pool nearby.
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice location near to the river Lott - nice walks. Nice room but a bit dated. Lovely grounds and good secure parking. Restaurant on site which looks really nice - a bit pricey though. Good shops a 10 minute walk.
Cons: Quite difficult to find without a sat-nav.
7.9 Good
Pros: The swimming pool and the restaurant were excellent - the food was, for the price, outstanding. Quiet location with a busy little bar. Good aircon in room.
Cons: Our room was small and tired but perfectly adequate. Few amenities in Pradines but only a short drive to Cahors.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Strangely located, well tucked away but having found the hotel, very peaceful, open fields behind, houses either side in a small road. Nice enough. Has a swimming pool & a few sun beds. Parking. Rooms obviously kept painted and freshened decor wise, think an older hotel - we were in the annex down the garden, in an upstairs room with a small balcony, pleasant. Good enough facilities.
Cons: Wi-fi didn't work much, hotel not full so can't put it down to overuse. Bar & reception seemed a bit dark and dismal. Air con only worked the first night, didn't pursue the causes as not a problem for us, weather cool in the evening so we kept the door open to the balcony.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Location was quiet and Breakfast was a good standard for a French Hotel
Cons: Walls very thin and you could hear what other people was saying in their rooms. Plumbing noisy.
9.2 Excellent
Cons: the whole place needs updating.

6.7 Good
Pros: Great breakfasts well worth the money.

Pros: Secure carpark
Cons: Old and tired
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The room is spacious. It’s easy to park
Cons: It was not easy to find the hotel.
6.3 Good
Pros: Comfortable bed, clean but dated.
Cons: The first room we were given had no bed linen/ duvet etc. There was a large stain on the mattress which could have been anything, and still drying out. We saw the manager, a slim woman in her thirties who didn’t believe us until we took her to the room. She was very sour faced, but did change our room. All other staff were fine. The breakfast was not worth money, little choice. Probably wouldn’t stay again. There are better hotels in price range- B&B hotels for instance.

Pros: Not too far from town, but you needed a car. There were restaurants nearby, but not really what we wanted, they were mainly fast food. The place was quiet at night, clean and had air conditioning.
Cons: The local transport was not much good, so we had to rely on the car. After a full day driving, it would have been good to use public transport to get to town, and have a drink etc.

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Easy to access by car. Friendly staff. Good parking . Pretty much what one expects from Campanile.
Cons: If you want to ditch the car and go into town, it's a half hour walk, bus service not great. I think this Campanile is one of the earlier ones so could do with more electric points
7.5 Good
Pros: All the facilities were very good and we had no complaints whatsoever.
Cons: The breakfast was one cost for a full breakfast. It didn’t provide the option for those of us who are happy to have a couple of slices of toast and a coffee or similar. We wouldn’t expect hi pay £9 or so for that.
4.0 Okay
Pros: This hotel is really a motel to stop for a night, it is not a place to stop if one wishes to visit Cahors. The restaurant is good and service there is fine. Most of the staff was pleasant with exception of one rather unfriendly, unsmiling receptionist. The rooms are rudimentary as one would expect in a cheap motel; definitely not two star hotel. Wifi worked fine.
7.7 Good
Pros: We thought the restaurant was excellent
5.7 Okay
