5.0 Okay
Pros: Room was nice...check in was easy!
Cons: Yes, didn’t like the fact that house keeping came into our room without knocking at 1030 am. When check out is at 11am. Kind of tramatic having someone come in without us giving permission!! I think we should be compensated for that invasion of pr

Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, express check-out, and a 24-hour front desk. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Didn't spend a lot on a room here. It was a quick escape from family with my girlfriend.
Cons: Ghetto people love to start yelling at 6pm and never let up all night
5.0 Okay
Pros: Though the front desk person was lacking, someone tidied up the room every day and left fresh towels. The location was close to the place I was there to work at. It wasn't super quiet, but it was as good as one could expect on that stretch of road.
Cons: The person at the front desk was rude & short with us - even before we arrived. We called to let them know when we would be getting there - to hold the reservation. She was a jerk then & never got better. I'd hate to see how she deals with the clients that need more than an extra towel...which was the only request we made. As for the room - it had not been updated for many years...that means the carpet and bed-spread were scary and I was afraid to turn on the old under-window heat unit because it actually looked like it had been used as a urinal.
7.1 Good
Pros: It was surprisingly quiet until traffic picked up. Then earplugs were necessary. My room was basic, clean, and comfy. For one night at $63, I got what I expected. I also liked that it is a family-run business, not a big hotel chain, and that the family are immigrants from India. I applaud your courage and wish you continued success & prosperity!
Cons: I didn’t like having to pay an additional $20 deposit, which will be refunded in a few business days. The ice machine wasn’t working, so that was a bit of a bummer. The curtains had a gap that would not close all the way, so I had to use a hair clip to close them completely.
6.3 Good
Pros: The location was good.
Cons: There was ants by the sink the 2 days I was there. Bubble type TV with poor channel, the sound was poor quality, irritating to my ears.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Horrible
Cons: Super dirty, spotted a bug on the bed- reported it and quickly dismissed by staff. Black mold like spits on bathrom ceiling. Dirty towel. Big mistake staying there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything!
Cons: Nothing, everyone was great!!
4.2 Okay
Cons: No lock on door or window. Weird attic hatch in ceiling, again no lock. I felt very unsafe.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Ease of reservation. Front desk was nice and helpful
Cons: N/A

Pros: Linda @ the front desk was exceptionally helpful and very nice personality very informative I really commend her for job that succeeded by expectation... I also would like to thank Dell and Christopher for great hospitality
6.0 Good
Pros: I liked the view of the garden. I liked the valet parking but not the price. The location was pretty easy to get to and the freeway access was good.
Cons: The overall rates for the hotel didn't match the quality that was promoted online. It wasn't much nicer than any other hotel I have been to. A pool would've been nice or a hot tub but you had to walk down the street to access those amenities at a nearby gym. I had one meal there at the onsite restuarant that wasn't as awesome as it could've been for the price. Overall, in a pinch, this hotel will suffice for a place to sleep.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great condition and well appointed. Staff was terrific and off street parking was convenient and affordable. The location was very good, close to dining and several local attractions.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room was nice, comfortable bed. The game room was great! We were there for business and could use this room for working as well. We only did some drinks and bites at the terrace of the restaurant, but that was really nice with great atmosphere (fireplace)! Plenty of other restaurants (and foodtruck) close by. Location was good in downtown Portland, possible to walk everywhere or take bus or tram.
7.0 Good
Pros: The location was nice. The rooms were cozy and clean.
Cons: Room wasn't ready by 4, we had to wait til 4:42. The key card you had to use in the elevator to get to your floor was stubborn and you had to swipe 4-5 times every time you got in elevator. Everybody we were in elevator with had the same issue.
6.0 Good
Pros: The young man at the front desk. Very nice- great job!
Cons: Manager called us at 12:15a to ask us to move or come to front desk because we were in wrong room. Valet hit the yellow pole bringing our rental car up and left huge yellow paint mark on car. Did not tell us.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Cool hotel Loved that it had a restaurant and bar Outdoor area and activity closet was awesome
Cons: Billing was incorrect

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel staff was great and clean rooms
9.7 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable, firm mattress. Great, friendly staff! Very accommodating.
Cons: The bathroom sink was annoying. The faucet was barely inside the bowl, which made a mess when using the sink. So it was difficult to use the sink as counter space, which was lacking. No other complaints. Everything else was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: great experience. hotel and staff really make you feel appreciated. lot's of little extras.....
7.0 Good
Pros: Clean room and cleaning staff
Cons: Small bathroom and front desk staff
5.0 Okay
Pros: It was a good location and the lobby is beautiful.
Cons: They charged an extra $29.99 per night for Amenities. When I asked what that was for, the staff couldn't really give me an answer. So in the end, the price was not a really good value.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What I was able to discern from my one night stay was that associates were able to operate using their own discretion. I’m hoping more hotels enable their associates to treat every individual and situation as just that and trust their associates will do right by the guest(s). Rules are necessary but empowering your associates to identify the grey from black and white scenarios not only shows that the hotel hires smart, intelligent people but that they actually are people and not just a robot that can regurgitate words.

7.9 Good
Pros: The location was excellent ... great view of the river and close to shopping and restaurants. The hotel restaurant was excellent and room service was really fast and friendly. The staff wee very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Love the hip vibe of this property!
Cons: The trade off for the excellent view is traffic noise and train noise. Had to go buy earplugs. The room was also very warm and stuffy.. but.. housekeeping rushed a huge fan to my room as soon as I complained!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The General Manager was amazing
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The rooms were nice and the hotel is in a great location. Most of the staff was helpful and friendly.
Cons: The main bartender, who was there every night, was incredibly rude! Besides being thoroughly unpleasant, he did not provide good service and was completely disrespectful. I would not stay here again because of his behavior.
1.0 Poor
Pros: The location is awesome the service is acceptable.
Cons: There was no ac and for the price I paid I thought there would be ac. The bathroom was tiny and not clean. My towels were stained.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the location of this hotel! We took the light rail from the airport and only had a couple blocks to walk. We had a waterfront view room and that was so beautiful! The rooms were clean and beds were so comfy and cozy!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great downtown location, our room overlooked the waterfront which was a beautiful view. The check in process was easy the desk clerk very friendly and hospitable.
Cons: I have absolutely no complaints, the restaurant food was delicious. This hotel is dog friendly, its super clean and a really fun hospital vibe.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel Rose, while not centrally located in downtown Portland, is within walking distance to most of the nightlife, restaurants and shopping ? The Pearl District, where most of the nightlife is located, is a little more than a 15 minute walk away !
Cons: The resort fee is questionable ? It's for services that most hotels already provide complimentary, i.e. internet/wi-fi or coffee/water in guest rooms ? With the great staff service and clean, nice room, it seems nominal, in retrospect ?

Pros: I called to confirm my reservation and Benjamin assured me that a late arrival was no problem. Pros: Bed was very comfy
Cons: It was noisy due to bad soundproofing with the adjoining room.

Pros: The front desk was very nice and helpful! The pool was very nice. Beautiful hotel! Perfect location for walking downtown!
Cons: The sofa was uncomfortable to sit on, the hideaway bed was even worse. They did send up a roll away bed that was a little better and didn't charge me for it, which was nice. The omelette bar was good except for the lady making them. She was rude and yelled for my son by shouting " hey boy" numerous times even though I was standing right there and told her I was getting his omlette for him while he was getting other food.

Cons: Daily amenities fees seem odd to me for a hotel with no pool, etc.
6.0 Good
Pros: Good location
Cons: So small in the room
8.0 Excellent
Pros: All staff were very friendly and informative. I ran into a staff member on the elevator bringing a cart of glassware to the kitchen, and I asked where I might find champagne glasses. They took the initiative to bring the glasses to my room. This is professional hospitality!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Property is attractive, clean, comfortable, pet-friendly, and very well located. It has long been among our 1st choices for lodging in Portland.
Cons: Uncharacteristically high "amenities" fee. This is relatively quietly ( i.e., small print) added to the cost of lodging. Just list a an all-inclusive price of lodging. The amenities fee looks like an attempt to mislead, or to squeeze a few more bucks out of guests. It is about as welcome as airline baggage fees, or fees for boarding priority. Also, the owner's sordid role in the Trump administration is a powerful disincentive for me to continue to stay there.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful staff
Cons: The room was a little small

7.0 Good
Pros: I thought the location was great. The staff was very professional and accommodating. The room was very clean and cozy.
Cons: We were on the 5th floor right behind the elevator and what sounded like we were sleeing directly underneath the restaurant kitchen. We didn’t sleep and we could hear every thing happening upstairs for hrs. It was never ending and so noisy.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Super clean and updated with great food and walking distance to events at the Moda center - etc...
4.0 Okay
Pros: Was great location to where I needed to be.
Cons: Found a hair in my food after eating the majority of it, was still charged full price. I also had a gentleman come to my room to collect my bags about 40 min before check out, not at my request. He told me they would be in my car and my car would be waiting. I waited a half hour for my car and realized after leaving my bags were not in my car. My bags were found upon calling but I was made to feel like I was an idiot because I didn’t have a tag number for the bags when I was not given one. This is the second year I’ve had bad luck with the Eastlund and probably will not stay there again!
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Our stay was very nice.
Cons: When we first walked in our room. There was an unpleasant smell. Kind of a stale odor.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is an older hotel that has been modernized and they did a great job. Rooms have nice touches like no-fog center of the bathroom mirror, built-in charging cords for various iPhone and Android phones, and comfy beds. Very friendly staff.
Cons: Parking access is awkward with a very steep ramp off a one-way street.
7.0 Good
Pros: The lobby, the room itself was great !
Cons: It was right above the light rail , which ran every few minutes, room was lovely but I was up all night (w earplugs) staff said I should've requested room in quiet section of hotel..but no one suggested that option when I checkefd in!!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Great hotel, walking distance to Moda center, 10 mins walk to Walgreens and 7-Eleven
Cons: Very expensive parking... You can find a cheaper parking by the meter at surrounding streets. Meters stop at either 6pm or 10pm, then start at 8am. So we have parked at the street nearby overnight for free, picked up our car at 8:03 am, while police was already tolling up cars, so be on time!
5.0 Okay
Pros: Cleanliness & decor. Comfortable beds.
Cons: Valet staff was not the nicest. Charging for parking in a hotel that costs this much is ridiculous. The rooms (2queen bed) are tiny. Finding additional street parking was difficult.

Cons: There’s nothing I didn’t like
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff, the hotel, the location.
Cons: The noise from the street car
1.0 Poor
Cons: The hotel charged $234 dollars to my account by accident. I'm still awaiting reimbursement from them. Still waiting for a callback from the manager as well. The rooms are located so close to the train that it was hard to sleep. It was SO loud!

Pros: The library was fantastic and staff very kind and welcoming.
Cons: Little things like, no where to plug in the kettle. Cheap non matching cups which we made tea in in the morning. If you spend so much and focus on beautiful art work. Buy some nice quality mugs to drink tea or coffee out of in the morning! Asking for more English breakfast tea and fresh cream and they brought up herbal tea and coffee matte. Somewhere of this standard should have fresh cream in the fridge. Maybe just focus on the small details. Cleanliness- there was a piece of popcorn on our carpet when we arrived in the room. And a crisp on the floor in the corridor!

Cons: Being a 4 star hotel, they didn’t have a fridge in the room. We waited at the Hotel bar for a bar tender to acknowledge us but no one came so we left.
7.0 Good
Pros: The central city location is of course desirable, close to transportation, walking distance to all the things that make this city a unique and charming place to visit. Friendly helpful and courteous staff added to the quality of the visit.
Cons: The hotel is beginning to exhibit to slight signs of aging. You might say the shine is starting to show some dulling. Very slight and should not be considered for your stay. The price point is very competitive to other nearby comparable hotels.

Pros: Hotel employee at the front desk was very kind. He went out of his way to accommodate us on our wedding night. We had to cancel our honeymoon. We are definitely considering staying again soon. Our room was spacious and had everything we needed.
Cons: Not that I can think of. The fact we had to checkout was disappointing.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Not being able to get breakfast and it’s hard to find and not really close by to grocery store.
7.0 Good
Pros: The room (1K + sofa) was nice, just as depicted in the photos. Parking was comped because I drive a hybrid, which was a definite bonus. The bathroom had a shower and a tub, which we enjoyed.
Cons: The bed made a metallic sound when sat on. The location is pretty but also far from things like shopping. The description of the balcony said it was private, but it was not.

Pros: Was very clean and close to where we had to be everyday.

Pros: The staff was very kind to us and even upgraded our room to the riverside.
Cons: The parking is valet only and they charge you $30. Pretty steep price for being forced to do valet.

Pros: There was really nothing I enjoyed or liked about this hotel. For the amount of money I had to pay for the room I expected it to at least have a cup for water. And I had to pay 25$ to park because there was no other options but their lot. Horrible service
Cons: The clerk was rude to start with the room smelled horrible and looked nothing like the photos. Had to rent another room just so my daughter could come visit me. Overall horrible experience. Will never stay there again.

Cons: I was very pleased with the hotel itself. But very disappointed they did not honor the price booking.com quoted me. Pros: location to waterfront park
Cons: I thought that my view would be the other direction. The plugs in the bathroom did not hold the hair dryer or the curling iron so getting ready was a challenge. Just disappointed that we had to pay $44.00 on top of the room charge. Seems out of line to me
9.2 Excellent
Pros: I had the waterfront view and the room was absolutely spectacular. Staff was so nice!
Cons: Parking was a nightmare. Wanted to charge me 75 dollars for over sized vehicle and there is no other parking near by. Parking should be included and definitely shouldn’t be 75$.

Pros: The view was amazing, waking up and just to look out the sliding glass door to see the river, down town, and mountains in the far distance was so beautiful especially waking up to a naked dime piece stripper that I had the pleasure to enjoy in every room possible.. just brilliant! Good job guys!
Cons: Well it isn’t the property’s fault but having room service or anything better than a couple snacks to choose from would have been nice... also valet parking should be free if your a guest at the hotel, $47 dollars seems a little high priced after spending an additional $200 for a room..

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Terrific staff starting with the car valet service and continuing with front desk staff. We needed a minor repair to one of the windows in our room and the maintenance person came immediately and made the fix quickly. We also liked the bartending team at Jackknife, the in-hotel bar. Cons: The room had horrible lighting as did the bathroom. The view out the lone window was super bad looking onto flat roof and into someone else’s window. I think they stick the booking.com reservations on one crappy floor.
