Pros: The Restruant and staff
Cons: a chateau
Pros: Beautiful property, lovely surroundings and great cocktail bar
Cons: The rooms in the spa are not up to standard. Also, in a 4 star hotel you would expect minimum services such as breakfast and spa to be included- really quite cheap not to include the spa!
Pros: Architecture and history
Cons: Poor tea and coffee facilities in the room
Pros: Chateaux is nicely appointed, the grounds are excellent and so is the actual Chateaux itself as far as aesthetics go
Cons: The Staff are ATROCIOUS - they are unwilling to help at all and have no useful information - the concierge could not even suggest any restaurants over the Christmas holiday that could be open in the area. We had to drive around for an hour to find an open restaurant - it did exist, and was quite close by (Chinese), but it was not something the staff was ready to share with you as a guest. SECOND OF ALL, THIS IS THE MOST STUFFY, TERRIBLY PRETENTIOUS HOTEL IN THE ENTIRE WORLD. The staff believe they are better than you. They believe that guests must conform with their norms, however, they do not inform you of what they may be. They made our CEO feel like an idiot and gave him terrible stares when he came to breakfast not dressed in "formal attire". IF FORMAL ATTIRE IS EXPECTED OR REQUIRED IT SHOULD BE TOLD TO GUESTS AT CHECK-IN. These were just some of the horrible experiences at this Chateaux. STAY AWAY FROM THEIR RESTAURANT if you know what is good for you. We made the mistake of eating Christmas Dinner there. It cost 90 EURO A PERSON plus drinks and the service was the worst that I have ever experienced. I have lived/studied in France so I am used to "French Service", so do not discount it when I say this was the worst service I have ever experienced. We came to dinner with a baby and asked for faster service as the baby has a bedtime, and its Christmas Eve, so family is important, instead, we ended up waiting over an hour in-between courses, the entire meal taking over 4 hours, while other guests were in and out in much less than half that time. They specifically went out of their ways to be rude to us on a consistent basis. THIS WAS THE WORST MEAL OF MY ENTIRE LIFE, and it cost almost 900 Euro - STAY AWAY like it has the plague - go anywhere else to eat. We stayed at other Chateaux's in the Loire- this is the worst one by far. MAYBE if your French and you are a Pretentious D*** you might be OK.
Pros: Beautiful Chateau and truly excellent staff. They made us feel at home and provided great service, in an old-school way. Highly recommended to visit the Loire Valley.
Pros: It is a beautiful building with gorgeous interior and nice trails surrounding the property. Well decorated rooms and modern bathrooms. Absolutely astonishing dome with murals, marvelous steers to the second floor and stunning dining rooms
Cons: - Inadequate stuff, lack of customer service skills, lazy and rude employees. - At spa there was no stuff, no towels, no place to put wet towels, no water. Water machine was broke and it took them 2 hours to solve the problem by brining bottles of water. - Advice to receptionists - make sure you always have at least one food place for recommendation, people don't always want to eat at your premises. - Order food service - not good food , long wait , could be ordered only after 7pm. - Please inform customers that even breakfasts are formal . - Christmas dinner - absolute joke! We paid 95 Eur per person. It lasted 4 hours from 7.30 to 11.30. We came with the baby and she got her first meal (piece of bread) in 30 min after our sit down. Some windows between meals lasted 1 hour. Our friends at the other table were refused to get 1 more piece of bread.
Cons: Bearing in mind the 5 stars and cost, we felt that staff lacked a bit more service and attention. We had to carry our luggage from the car and then downstairs. But also in the restaurants during breakfast the service could have been better
Pros: The chateau was beautiful! We enjoyed the beautiful architecture and decor of the chateau, and dining room. Dinner in the restaurant was exceptional!
Cons: We stayed in the chapel building not the main chateau. I would recommend staying in the chateau if rooms are available as it’s more convenient.
Pros: The room was lovely, with fantastic views. The staff were superb and dinner amazing.
Pros: Beautiful chateau/rooms/space/countryside and quiet. Excellent food.Professionally managed.
Cons: It took over 1/2 hour to get our wine opened even whilst our 1st course meal was served on the table. The sommelier ignored us deliberately whilst he bigmouthed/chatted about himself to other tables with the focus on him not customer service. We were very upset by this attitude.
Cons: Services at the restaurant as well as at the bar were disappointing. The bar was too noisy for such an "expected" atmosphere.
Pros: Lovely location and building. Room was finewith a large, comfortable bed. The food was well cooked and nicely presented.
Cons: The practice now in France (but not in Paris) whereby one has to order desert at the start of a meal.
Pros: Decor was attractive, staff helpful, setting nice.
Cons: I thought dinner in the restaurant was a little over priced, considering that we were able to find other restaurants within a few miles of similar quality with lower prices.
Pros: Lovely location Excellent restaurant great breakfast good helpful staff
Cons: Pillows could be better
Pros: The room and grounds were beautiful
Cons: With a few notable exceptions the staff was unfriendly to the point of rudeness. They would ignore you when you came in, never smile, and were outright rude if you asked a question that made them actually work. I asked for a receipt showing that I paid at the end rather than one showing an outstanding balance and they refused!!
Pros: I thought your Chateau was gorgeous and well manicured
Cons: I thought your breakfast buffet was lacking with only one hot item--eggs and the selection of pastries was fair, no availability to order from a menu. In addition, we ordered room serice of pasta and salad. The pasta portion was very soft and inedible. Because of this room service we chose to not eat dinner at the chateau.
Pros: A beautiful chateau in a beautiful location.
Pros: The hotel has beautiful public areas that can be viewed by all. The staff are extremely friendly and charming.
Cons: The restaurant did not meet my levels of expectation; I did not feel that I got value for money and the atmosphere was strained. The degustation in the cellar was an extreme disappointment- 3 tastes of mediocre local wine that was limited to still white and did not reflect the area's potential.
Located in Tours, Appart'City Confort Tours is connected to a shopping center, within a 5-minute drive of Botanical Garden and Parc des Expositions de Tours. Featured amenities include complimentary wired Internet access, dry cleaning/laundry services, and multilingual staff. Self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
Pros: The apartment was large and well equipped, a shopping centre within a short walk with a wide variety of good eating places. Free street parking and a good breakfast. In addition to this the staff were very friendly and helpful - altogether an excellent place and we will definitely use it again.
Cons: Nothing, everything was good.
Pros: it's right in front of the office, it is calm, staff was very nice
Cons: there is a smell in the room, probably some people are smoking in the rooms? I really didn't appreciate that.
Pros: Clean and comfortable room. Staff are helpful.
Cons: No hair dryer in the room.
Cons: Door to room didn’t lock from the inside meaning we slept all night with anyone being able to open the door and walk in.
Pros: Good location with easy ride by tram to the city.Close to freeways. All around - stores, restaurants. The staff was very outgoing and friendly. Overall we liked it and will use it again for an overnight stay in Tours. Maintenance could be better - parts of door frame missing and if they fix something it is very unprofessional.
Pros: Great location. Great staff. Great accommodation. Great parking. Great WiFi. Great with pets. Overall..... great
Pros: Good parking, good sized room, very handy for shops and the tram into the city centre
Cons: Nothing really

Pros: Hot tub of ridiculously small
Pros: The spa area is very lovely
Pros: Loved the location! Pool stayed open until 11pm- brilliant after a day of sightseeing. Comfy bed and loved the complimentary toiletries. Breakfast was lovely too- the madeleines are to die for!
Cons: Jacuzzi was too small for a hotel of this size! Too many people so couldn’t use it. Not sure if there is one but Would have loved a sauna room although steam room was decent.
Pros: The location of this hotel is perfect for anyone wishing to visit Tours town centre. What made it so wonderful was the kindness of the checking in lady, we were quite early and very tired from our journey and she phoned the maintenance staff to ask them to prepare our room as a priority...within 30 minutes we were in our room. This for me is a sign of excellence...she could help and she did it. Too often the staff hide behind rules and are not human any more.
Cons: Nothing really...it was truly impeccable service and real style.
Pros: Staff - very friendly and helpful
Pros: Central location. Clean.
Cons: Not a 4 star. No kettle. No china mugs. No minibar. No bath. Taps difficult to use - no markings. Cold floor, no carpet or rugs. No heating except bathroom rad. One chair, walls just painted, no pictures. Bland.
Pros: Excellent location, excellent value for money. Breakfast very good. Staff welcoming and helpful. Room spacious, bright and clean.
Pros: 1 min walk from the train station and tourist office. Super convenient. 5 min to old town area with lots of good restaurants and shops. Good breakfast on first floor. Our room was clean and bed was comfy. Would stay there again for the location alone!
Cons: The room doesn’t have hot water kettle. Only a coffee machine and super small paper cups. No water glasses or mugs available.

Pros: Friendly staff, food and drink on site and much needed with zero temperatures. Secure parking.

Pros: Bad was almost comfortable and was silent. Parking place available in the garage at extra 9 euro/day
Cons: Small room, not enough furniture to store clothes, not able to suply basic goods (like a brush for clothes). Brakfast was poor, we waited more than 30 minutes to bring scramble eggs - the only warm ptotein available. One caffe machine which was empty of beans right in the crowdy morning. Gues whar? Another 15 min only to refill. And many other..
Cons: The room smelled of smoke
Pros: Free parking next door good value nice shower
Cons: Room small Needs update on decor although bathroom is modern smells abit off
Pros: Breakfast is good with an excellent choice.
Cons: Room is tiny! The sleeping mezzanine is very high and the room was pretty shabby and very purple. It was also very difficult to find as it’s name is totally different to the name I booked it under!

Pros: Located near the train station, this hotel is very nice and very clean. I also recommend the breakfast. I would stay here again.
Pros: Location was good, parking was easy and staff were pleasant.
Cons: The corridor on our floor had a strong smell of marijuana, the bar only sold unchilled white and rose wine and the room needed to be refurbished as was quite tired looking. Also thought breakfast at €16.00+ was overpriced so didn't have it.
Pros: Not much. The price was decent.
Cons: Definitely not as advertised. We all felt very let down when we arrived.

Pros: Staff amazing.. friendly, helpful and efficient. Shower hot and powerful. Bed comfortable Breakfast excellent..good range, lots of it and very fresh.
Cons: Bedroom carpet stained and in need of replacement.
Pros: it was very basic and small, but ok for our needs, early start did not have breakfast, plenty of choices for food outlets nearby, very quiet, plenty of parking, easy access off auto route, requested ground floor and obliged, wifi ok
Cons: bed could of been more comfortable and toilet area bigger
Pros: Eveything was perfect ! Naima at the reception was very professional and hospital. Thank you so much!
Pros: Disappointing appearance but considering the cost, good
Cons: No tea making in room
Pros: A good but very basic hotel very suitable for a "no frills" overnight travel stop. Simple, clean, very economical but not luxurious. Staff very helpful. The hotel is based on an industrial park but does not do evening food. There is a Chinese (buffet style meal) within easy walking distance BUT be warned the food I had there, although tasty, was cold and to my mind expensive for what you could put on your plate. The Chinese Buffet place was nothing to do with the Hotel and my comments on the Chinese are stand-alone information and are not detrimental to the Hotel
Pros: was the perfect stopover for our onward journey. Reception staff were lovely
Pros: Was a great stop over - the staff were really helpful and welcoming
Cons: It was just what we wanted
Pros: Location for our onward journey
Cons: Bed very hard

Pros: Very clean and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and the evening meal was excellent.
Pros: Excellent accommodation and extremely dog friendly!
Pros: This hotel was not to far from the main route south . Room very comfortable , parking very safe .
Cons: The staff were unfriendly , the hotel was supposed to be dog friendly but we could not go into the bar , or conservatory with our dogs , we were only allowed to stay in reception area to have a drink and eat , myself and my wife sat on a table like to lemons , next to this table was formal seats and a table but we was not allowed to go there as there was a rug and dogs not allowed on rug or carpets in the hotel , not friendly at all I would not recommend any person with dogs to stay at this hotel .
Pros: As we were travelling with children we found the fixed price menu in evening and for breakfast expensive. We walked from the the hotel in the evening to find a restaurant and it proved to be quite difficult. Many places were not open and the few that were open were not suitable.
Cons: Lack of coffee pods in room
Pros: Lovely welcome for a last minute booking on the day. Booked for dinner which had a tasty vegan main choice of quinoa and roasted vegetables. Service impeccable. We didn't take breakfast. The bedroom was bright and fresh, comfortable bed and little kitchenette. Tranquil setting and would have been nice to have stayed longer for a spa break but this was a perfect pitstop.
Pros: Nice park
Cons: Everything is good
Pros: High quality Restaurant

Cons: The streets in the area were very dirty giving the impression that the area was a bit neglected.

Cons: Weird check in with late arrival - not the best neighborhood
Cons: Small room, small bathroom, no hairdryer
Pros: I feel like the whole place, not just the room would benefit from a little more cleaning... but for the price, I can't complain too much.
Cons: The staff was nice. They let us leave our baggage in early and they were very helpful overall. The room had everything mentioned, towels (which btw were replaced daily even if not requested), toiletries, etc. The radiator worked just fine and I could see that they also have an AC for during the summer.

Cons: The room was a bit worn out and not as tidy as I expected it.
Pros: Budget hotel 5-10 mins walk from centre. Clean room with cooking equipment

Pros: Spacious room for three
Cons: Method of returning the garage opener...
Pros: The informal atmosphere and extremely pleasant young staff. And it is in a very convenient location, close to the river and supermarket.

Pros: Staff were fantastic and very friendly. And the room was very clean. Perfect location.
Cons: My room was so hot and the air con didn’t work properly so unfortunately couldn’t sleep. I also wasn’t aware of the renovations meaning scaffolding blocked my windows and workers could easily see in my room. Wouldn’t have been an issue had I of been informed.
Pros: Great location. Great value for money option in expensive London.

Pros: Convenient location near the motorway for a stopover, good size car park if your vehicle is large (we had a trailer). Nadege - the lady on reception and bar - was lovely, very helpful and friendly and compensated for the things we didnt like (primarily the closed restaurant).
Cons: Room was really cold despite putting heater on full blast, probably due to being ground floor with tiled floors. Public areas also quite chilly and restaurant closed, but they did have a supply of pots of food to microwave so we avoided a freezing cold walk to sample the delights of a Buffalo Grill.

Cons: Nothing it was all good
Pros: Very comfortable and good breakfast.
Cons: Restaurant was closed on a Thursday although the Ponte started on the Friday.
Pros: Good location. Extremely comfortable bed. Clean. We were travelling during Covid19 pandemic so the amenities were limited for our own protection. We have stayed previously and found the hotel very warm and welcoming.

The key collection for guests turning up early or late is superb, it also allows you to just turn up, pay for a room, and collect a key, should the need ever arise. The rooms are clean, warm, and the bed was very comfortable!
Cons: The flush on the toilet was too weak to even remove toilet paper, so best avoided for anything more solid!
Pros: Very clean. Super comfortable bed. Pet friendly.
Pros: Friendly staff , clean room and bedding . Ideal location for an overnight stop whilst travelling South.

Right in the heart of Tours' business district, the Adagio Access Tours is located between the TGV train station and the Palais des Congrès (convention center). This 3-star holiday residence boasts 98 spacious, fully-equipped apartments with kitchens, ranging from 2-person studios to 2-room apartments for 4 people, and almost all with a balcony or terrace. The city center is a few minutes' walk away, with buses and trams close by. Direct access to the A10 highway.
Pros: Good location, close to the train station. Handy to have a little kitchenette, a coffee maker, a fridge, stove, etc.
Cons: During my 1 (one) week stay at this hotel, nobody came to clean the room. I do not expect to have the towels or the bed sheets changed every day, but it seems to me common sense to have the garbage picked up at least once a week. This has not happened.
Pros: It was close to supermarkets and relatively close to the center. Also there was no need to pay parking and we could always find a spot near the aparthotel.
Cons: The kitchenette had no ventilation so after we cooked the room smelled terrible and we couldn’t get rid of the smell. The room was a bit expensive for what it was.
Pros: The hotel is a 2-minute walk from the train station, which is very convenient for trips around the Loire Valley. The room is medium in size but comfortable. You can pay for breakfast separately, but we had breakfast in the room. There is a kitchen with all utensils, a microwave, a refrigerator. Upon arrival, we were met at the reception and given keys. Eviction was early, so we left the keys in a special box.
Cons: Cleaning for a fee. The heating is only air conditioned. On Sunday, everything is closed in the city.
Cons: Shower had a leak which cause the floor flood. Shower only had cold water for the third person.
Located 200 m from the railway station, Novotel Tours Centre Gare invites you to enjoy a comfortable business or leisure stay in a completely renovated venue with modern architecture. Our hotel in Tours has four meeting rooms and a fitness room. We promise special gourmet moments in our restaurant, which offers traditional French cuisine made on premise, as well as in the bar, where you can sip delicious cocktails.
Pros: Location, comfortable room and bed
Cons: no complaints !
Pros: In fact nothing as it’s hype of Novotel name and location. There are many hotels in the city center and hence avoidable stay next time for me and for all tourists planning to go to Tours .
Cons: - The noisy and shaky lifts - risky ! - No help and left in panic mode when lift got struck - unresponsive and arrogant GM / head as not bothered for 5 days even after complaining . - poor WIfi and no staff to rectify and standard answer for all issues - the staff will come and rectify as not there . - poor gym and I don’t know who has given them 4 stars with the two old non working machines kept as a show case there . - waste of money and spoiling the trip is all I can say
Cons: There wasn't a lot options for vegetarians.
Cons: The room was so bare and completely lost for charm - was a little mini bar fridge, but EMPTY
Cons: Reception and the bar were frequently not staffed
Pros: Kindness from the service team during breakfast.
Cons: No greetings from the receptionist to the guest!!
Pros: Central location , easy parking, good sized clean and well fitted rooms, great breakfast!
