8.3 Excellent
Pros: It is a very comfortable, clean hotel with wonderful beds and private bathroom facilities.
Cons: We asked for an earlier breakfast, and were told "no" it is 7am and no earlier. Not even 10 minutes? "No" and so in hope we turned up at 6:45 and were told "no" but in the end we did get to eat at 6:54. We just made our train at 07:21...
5.0 Okay
Pros: Nice look n location. Simple but enough for breakfast. Friendly host. Very tasty kebab place under the hotel.
Cons: Nightmare to get to parking made worse by host not knowing any English but did her best . Room very stuffy .Aircon not working so Windows open but the noise from outside till 11pm felt like we were in a concert so couldn't rest after travelling for long. huge bathroom but shower is made for size 8 person because u can't move around at all without hitting the wall. And I don't think it's right to hand the keys back when going out while my things are still in the room . Will they take responsibility if things go missing- I don't think so.
7.1 Good
Pros: Friendly staff and clean rooms.
Cons: Poor breakfast.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Friendly people. . Nice room with balcony. pleasant stay. enjoyed breakfast.
Cons: shower door and toilet seat needed repair
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Roland and Francesco were very helpful. Roland gave us tips on places to visit and where to eat. We had a wondetful couple of days seeing the beautiful countryside of the region. Breakfast was plentiful with enough choices to satisfy everyone. A home baked cake on our last morning was delicioud.
Cons: We enjoyed the entire stay.
7.9 Good
Pros: The staff was wonderful and very kind. Everything was clean and breakfast was included in the morning which was nice. The free underground parking was also great and very convenient.
Cons: The only thing we didn't like was that the deadbolt lock on the door automatically unlocked when the handle was turned so our toddler quickly figured out he could open the door and run down the hall in the middle of the night. The beds were also very firm.
6.7 Good
Pros: The restaurant up the road and proximity to train station
Cons: It was too much trouble for staff to make my wife a cup of tea or even allow us to make it ourselves late evening. Prunes at breakfast were fizzy. Yuk! I hate leaving bad reviews but you’ve left us no choice. You asked for a review so you got one credit we’re credit is due...
Agriturismo Il Cavallone - Montelupo Fiorentino - Bedroom

6.3 Good (76 reviews)

9.2 Excellent
Pros: the staff at the agroturism were excellent. takumi, a volunteer from japan was very helpful and good conversationalist. the property looks amazing, it is like an old villa with vasts amount of land and vineyard, horses and a great dane named isolta (dont be afraid of her, she is a delight). the food is home made and though it costs a bit more, it is good.
Cons: we had a problem with our toilet not filling with water, but the hosts fixed it as soon as we reported it. there were a lot of mosquitoes so you have to be careful to not open the window and let them in (maybe a net on the window would be helpful). the room needs a little construction work and a new paint job.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Extremely picturesque! The views...sounds....smells! Staff was polite and very accommodating.
Cons: It was May, restaurant only available for breakfast. However, surrounding countryside towns had great food. Amazing place, need to invest in better mattresses and bedding.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The location was easy to find, very calm and quiet surroundings. The breakfast we had was ok, but I´d appreciate some vegetables too.
Cons: I was missing some lamp above the kitchen desk. And the covered parking places was only for small cars, so we had to leave the car on the hot sunshine.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is near to the train station.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The room location was super - right next to the train station and walking distance from all of the sights. We had a balcony which we didn't use, but it was larger than expected! Staff were quite friendly, and helpful even though there were multiple people checking in, the front desk was still able to help me book ahead for tickets for some sights which was such a pleasant surprise.
Cons: The only con was that the rooms are quite far away from the main elevator, which is tiring to walk through with heavy suitcases because of the carpeted floors, but that's a small detail that can't really be overcome.
4.0 Okay
Cons: Bed was hard and very uncomfortable...
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was tidy, the bed super comfortable and the bath room including a bath tube was nice. Breakfast was okay, staff friendly. The house is located across the railway station, a good place to start some sightseeing and walking towards the historic city.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Walking distance to everything. Very clean comfortable hotel. Extremely friendly helpful staff. Great breakfast. Special thanks to Marco on checkin for the room upgrade. Made my stay and made my holiday
Cons: Nothing
1.0 Poor
Pros: Really nothing. It was the worst part of our two week trip in Italy.
Cons: Many things. Our room was facing the street and was extremely noisy. However we had to keep the window open because the room was so hot and they said they could not turn on the air conditioning. Neither my husband, 9 mo old daughter or I slept
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent experience
5.4 Okay
Cons: Dust and dirt evident in rooms. Reception and corridor Smelt of sewage . Duvet was loose between two sheets so guest touches inner duvet easily, very unhygienic!
4.0 Okay
Cons: Solid two stars. Good effort on upkeep but this aged, tired property needs to retire. Lobby, rooms, and atrium area are nice, clean and well maintained but there is only so much lipstick you can put on before it looks trashy...and this hotel is past that.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable bed. Nice room.
Cons: It was too hot in the room and no ac. It was noisy in that our room faced the train station
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing.
Cons: You guys charged me for 2 rooms when I only made a reservation for one room. I have already taken it up with Holiday Inn and I am awaiting a phone call from the hotel directly. Terrible ending to an awesome trip. Would never stay there again.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location, price ! Clean , stylish interior .. great staff throughout .. wouldn't hesitate to recommend fully .
Cons: At the price point my expectations were managed that it would be directly across from the SMN train station so maybe not the most picturesque from the outside , but they more than make up for it on the inside . We would stay here again and recommend .

Pros: Everything. The pool was amazing, great staff. Fun relaxing environment.
Cons: Nothing not to like
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff Good facilities (laundry, bar) Cleanness
7.9 Good
Pros: In the garden, there is a swimming pool and bar. You can relax and have some fun with other people to share your travel experience etc. Although it is a bit louder music sound, untill 11pm.where because of my room ??? If you sleep well, may good to stay at somewhere else.
Cons: It is cleaned well and cheap!
5.7 Okay
Pros: It was centrally located and the rooms were spacious with all standard amenities except the electrical outlets.
Cons: There was only (1).....seriously (1), outlet in the entire room. A mixed dorm room with 4 bunk beds and only (1) outlet doesn't make for friendly environments and happy customers. The price for the room was comparable but the foot, laundry, and drinks were completely over priced.
7.1 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: Higher rates than usual. Way higher.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location, great wifi, great breakfast!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The private rooms are like a 4 star hotel excellent location as well I really enjoyed my stay
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Everything was very easy. The private room was wonderful, large. Breakfast was great a large selection of sweet and savory. Walkable to everything. Laundry on premise.
Cons: Workout room only had cardio machines. It would be nice if there was an electrical outlet near the bed so you could charge and read at the same time.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very good for the the price i paid. Clean. As it was 15 min from the train station there was no immigrants around. Was very calm outside. Save. The breackfast was amazing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hostel has great amenities such as pool, extensive breakfast, a small gym and multiple bars. The rooms were also very modern, clean and had air conditioning.
Cons: There are already 20-30 busabout people on the main entry getting in the way and occasionally loosing their breakfast in the stairs nearby.
4.0 Okay
Cons: The bed was terrible, there was a bar digging into my hip/ lower back all night. One toilet and one shower for a room of 16 is not enough. There was some sort of construction or something happening on the floor above me from 5am to 9pm. No kitchen, which is dumb. It's a massive facility, so there are huge tour and school groups there all the time.

Pros: The hotel had a lot of character, the location was fantastic (less than 10mins walk to all of the major sights), and there were a lot of good drinks places to eat very close by.
Cons: I wasn’t able to control the air conditioning myself and didn’t sleep well because the room was far too hot (25 degrees Celsius all through the night). Staff turned the heating off but it didn’t make a difference - it may have been due to the time of year.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very welcoming and helpful.

Cons: There was absolutely nothing not to like
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff were very helpful, hotel was in a local area but was close enough to station and all major tourist sights. We were in Florence in the middle of Italy going into lockdown due to Coronavirus, which was quite bizarre. We were worried about getting back to the UK, but apart from that it was a privilege to see Florence without many other tourists.
Cons: Decor was not to my taste
9.4 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff and comfortable rooms. Very decent breakfast. Excellent value. Would definitely stay there again.

Pros: Great location close to the airport and the staff was friendly and helpful.
Cons: The room was a bit dated, could use an update. The cafe/restaurant was extremely busy for diner and they really needed additional staff. The service wasn't bad but I had to wait at the bar just to sign a receipt to charge the meal to the room.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: Good facilities, fair price and nice staff. But please note that although it is an "Airport" hotel, the hotel does not provide a shuttle to/from the airport. It is located 30-min walking from the airport (and not a pleasant walk), so you must take a taxi.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The buffet breakfast was quite good. The shuttle service was convenient.
Cons: No problems.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Easy to get a bus to. Walking distance to a great family run restaurant.
Cons: Make sure you get an accurate price to the airport for a taxi. One would think that it’s a set fare as the airport and the hotel never move. I was expected to pay early morning and Sunday surcharges on top of the €20 quoted price.
6.0 Good
Pros: Hotel was fine--close to airport
Cons: Even with the hotel being close to the airport, it had no airport shuttle. The cab fare to the hotel was 17 euro and return was 35 euro. The cab fares was as much as the hotel room. This hotel was maybe 11/2 miles from the airport a 5 min. ride. RIP-OFF.

Very centrally located, a short walk to all the museums, etc. The staff is extraordinarily helpful and sincerely friendly. The room was gorgeous, the breakfast the best we've experienced in a long time. We'd definitely stay here again if we returned to Florence.
Cons: A tad cold, even though it was in the 90s outside. Had to turn off the AC. That did the trick.

Pros: Best view of the duomo from roof-top garden
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location near the train station but only a stones throw from the centre. Spacious rooms and old style decor. Lovely bar area and rooftop bar.
Cons: I booked a superior room that was advertised having a balcony but there was no balcony. So I paid for nothing really as I was alone so didn’t need the space that the superior room gave, I just booked it for the balcony. Also it was opposite the elevator so very noisy, I felt that I paid extra for no reason in the end.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The classic style. Old but still working (like myself). The bar was very nice and the barmen were 6 stars!!! Professional, that is they are nice, you learn with their expertise, they talk with you but never bother you.
Cons: At reception, they were very nice but not very efficient. They allways advised the same restaurants which I didn't like. There must be some good restaurants in Florence but in 4 days I had no luck. Contrary to what I was told, there is a flat rate from Florence to the airport.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing!

Pros: Very spacious and quiet room. Excellent bed
Cons: Some corners of the room seemed to be in rough shape due to age.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The historical palace, very picturesque reception, and welcoming staff are good parts. The vintage / old / original furnishings make you feel that you are smelling what you should have from Florence. Not very close to city center but in a distance of an easy walk just right out of city jam. I will consider staying there again.
Cons: It is not a matter of cleaning, because the rooms are clean enough, but the rooms itself need renovation, especially the paint on the wall that makes the beautiful room seem dirty. This does not depend on the hotel, because it is Florence that does not allow you to park and it was well explained in the website. but for whom travels by car, hotel does not have a parking spot.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast, the staff. Comfortable and not far from city center
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All of the staff were extremely polite and cooperative
Cons: Carpets
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was amazing such vast choice of food and all good quality and tasty staff very friendly and helpful. Receptionist spent time showing us where best tourist sites were to visit and restaurant recommendations. Could walk to all landmarks but was at furthest end of the main centre so feet tired at end of day. Has shop bars and restaurants close by if you dont stay in hotel.
Cons: No kettle in room so couldnt make a hot drink
9.0 Excellent
Pros: location close to SMN station and the tram
Cons: nothing not to like
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great service and nice rooms. Located slightly away from the noisy city centre but its a walking city and within 15-20min walk you're anywhere you want to be. Concierge recommended excellent restaurants for us and took care of reservations.

Pros: The reception staff were welcoming and helpful. I was originally booked for 5 nights but my flight had been cancelled due Storm Ciara in the UK. I arrived the following day and reception removed the unused day from my booking with no issues, so I paid for 4 nights. Location was good as it was close to the work venue. The beds were also very comfortable and the room / bathroom was very clean. Breakfast was also good with a large selection each morning.
Cons: The property is tired. Everything worked (apart from one power socket in my room) but it looks and feels old. It requires renovation. Having said that, it was still good value for money at this time of year.
5.8 Okay
Pros: The location is great! Straight off of the A1 and close to restaurants and other shops! There is an American Diner super close by with amazing food!!
Cons: In our opinion this hotel is not 4*. My husband have stayed in many 4* hotels and this was unfortunately the worst we have stayed in. The room was super basic, not even a welcome sheet with hotel information on it. The bathroom was really small, barely any space when sitting on the toilet to the shower.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location was very good......nice breakfast...
Cons: Too much noise from the other rooms..no soundproof at all...was bad during night...

Pros: Beautiful building, mixing old world charm with modern comfort. The onsite restaurant is wonderful. The staff in the restaurant went above and beyond to accommodate my gluten allergy (coeliac). The staff on reception are also very nice. Beautiful pool area with great views. Well equipped gym. Breakfast is varied with very fresh food.
Cons: Pool side staff looked very bored and were unfriendly. Gym needs towels and water. Gym shower area next to hammam had loads of empty body wash bottles and hair in it.

Pros: We enjoyed the quietness, the view' the comfort room and the pleasant stuff.
Cons: we didn't enjoy the restaurant at the evening

10.0 Excellent
Pros: All is good. Wonderful place.
Cons: Nothing.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Welcome by the receptionist was professional and according to level of the hotel. All clean and high level. If there are special instructions for preferred navigation - they should find a way to inform before arriving. Price.of season was low compared to the high end botique holel
Cons: I accepted someone to approach my car when arrived. No trash bins in parking area. 1-2 hairs in room that where not mine...
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Size of the room was nice and the bed was huge, staff was most helpful.
Cons: It was quite empty and felt without life, spa facilities are just a small hamman bath, no bath robes in the rooms.

6.0 Good
Cons: Beds too firm. Not comfortable.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Inside the hotel was first class - very clean/upscale
Cons: The neighborhood outside the hotel when we arrived seemed a bit sketchy when we first arrived during an outdoor market - but it got better and only a block away from all the places you want to be, so it was fine
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rosaria from the front desk A+
Cons: Nothing,everything is fine.
6.5 Good
Pros: Easy to get to many things tourist of city, friendly staff that helped change rooms, breakfast was convenient. This isn't by any means a four star , but what you get for price is good.

7.0 Good
Pros: Location
Cons: The location of the allotted room. It was next to the restaurant and lobby and you could hear noice from outside.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff was incredibly personable, knowledgeable, and professional.
Cons: They would not turn off the air conditioning in my room despite the indoor and outdoor temperatures. I froze for three days (and I am not a cold person). Had I not prepaid, I would have checked out to go elsewhere.
7.1 Good
Pros: The room was spacious, with sauna. The location is great, near important points.
Cons: The breakfast was poor in options. The bathroom big, but unclean and broken sockets.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast, nice and helpful staff
6.0 Good
Pros: Cute room! Clean. Close to attractions but not right in the tourist trap. Very friendly staff! Powerful AC! Thank goodness.
Cons: Private bathroom separate from bedroom- Ok. However, no guaranteed privacy or security as it was just a latch not a locking door. The door locks throughout building we are simply challenging. I understand the charm of skeleton keys- but LOUD. Thin
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful and friendly.
Cons: Room was small but they have larger rooms on the new wing.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a delightful stay at Hotel Ginori Al Duomo. The hotel has been renovated and our room was very nice with antique furnishings and wood beams. The breakfast buffet was great for starting a day of sightseeing. The location was convenient also.
Cons: There is no elevator but a porter brings your bags upstairs for you. We did not mind the stairs but it would not be for some people.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great staff- they were always incredibly friendly and helpful
Cons: The room was a bit strange of a layout and could use some modernizing. The only true negative was that we believe my husband got food poisoning from the yogurt served at the breakfast. It was in a dispenser rather than individual containers so that was suspect to begin with.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location perfect for exploring the city, the staff were helpful and friendly with fantastic communication, the room was clean and comfortable.
7.1 Good
Pros: I liked that the hotel is centrally located and the facilities of the room were really good. The breakfast was about right, the pancake machine was really good. The hotel ambiance/garden was exceptional!
Cons: There was a brown out, meaning no electricity last Saturday morning and it took a bit of time before the electricity came back. The emergency lights in the room were helpful, but again, were not enough. Upon checking-in last Friday, the receptionist was talking in Italian language and we had to tell him several times that we are tourists and we do not speak the language. It took time before he really understood that we do not speak the language at all. Afterwards, he was helpful to mention about the breakfast times, hotel rules, etc.
8.0 Excellent
Cons: Excellent service, staff and location!
