Pros: The location is good and the place is kept very clean. We arrived late (22H30) due to traffic congestion and bad roads but somebody was waiting for us and guided us to our booked room without complaining since check-in time ends at 20H00. Breakfast was excellent, keep up the good standard and will visit again.

Located in King Sabata Dalindyebo, Big Five Guest House is in the suburbs, within a 10-minute drive of Nelson Mandela Museum and BT Ngebs Mall. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided for a surcharge (available on request), and free self parking is available onsite.

Pros: A surprisingly good, clean and safe place for an overnight in Mthatha when travelling N2. The room looked really great and the bed was very comfortable.
Cons: Nothing wrong with that place. As for South Africa, I would expect a bigger parking lot- but this one was perfectly OK anyway.

Pros: We encountered some problems in Umthatha, unrelated to the accommodation. Staff were extremely helpful In their support to manage a difficult situation. Thank you again, Vivienne, Fana and Anda!

Pros: Good and quiet location. Easy and save parking very close to the rooms. Large selection for breakfast. Very impressing sculptures and 3d-paintings in common rooms and also outside - worth seeing.

Hotel Savoy and Conference Centre is centrally located in Mthatha. It features 3 in-house restaurants, spacious meeting rooms and free onsite parking. Free WiFi is available throughout the property. Pros: I walk with crutches so breakfast is difficult. But the staff help me a lot. Azzi was fantastic for 3 days in a row. Thank you to her and well done
Cons: No disabled parking in front of rooms. If it’s full you don’t even get parking close to your room. Not nice

Cons: Breakfast for vegetarians could be improved. On leaving, the lady at reception mentioned that we could have qualified for a discount which we didn't get.

Cons: The staff at the restaurant in the morning said I have to pay for the second person, whereas I have booked 2 rooms for 2 adults each including breakfast so it was strange for me...

Pros: The room was well equipped with a nice space as per the room size,also some nice ventilation on a calm location suitable for perfect sleep.
Cons: There was no supply of hygienic tissues and limited bathing soap as a couple,whilst the room is an executive suite.
