Pros: Everything was perfect. The staff was fantastic, nice, and always helpful. They took great care of us and our young children. The swimming pool is beautiful and clean. The garden is luxurious and magical. The bungalows have all been decorated with the best taste. Breakfasts take a whole new meaning! Tasty, varied, delicious! We have loved our stay. It is with no doubt the best hotel we have ever been to!
Cons: Absolutely nothing except not staying longer.
Pros: Staff were fantastic. Breakfast delicious. Very comfortable bed.
Pros: Excellant location and brilliant staff
Cons: Everything was ideal
Pros: Beautiful quiet peaceful location, lovely wooded resort, very pretty pool, comfortable beds
Cons: Rooms a little small, breakfast not bad but not exceptional
Pros: The rooms were very clean and tidy and comfortable. The staff were really friendly nothing ever a problem for them. The food was really really nice. This place would have to be one of the best places we have ever stayed at. Thank You
Pros: Tranquil, everything was done to perfection, attentive and friendly staff, spotlessly clean. Faultless. Very professional and attentive staff
Pros: Friendly people with smiling faces. The room was clean and comfortable. From our room we can see beautiful scenery of the mountain and the green field. You have privacy and location was not far from the city center. Breakfast was our choice to select from the menu, so we can order what ever we want to eat. It was a pity that we did not get a chance to eat there.
Cons: The water pressure for taking shower was not high enough. I guess they should change a bigger HP pump for that. If they could put more varieties for breakfast will be great. We do not like the mosquito net inside the bed room but I believed that they have their own reason to put it in.
Pros: This property had gorgeous landscaping with flowers everywhere! The pool area was quite nice and relaxing. Very pretty dining area and great food. Staff was very nice. Rooms were clean.
Cons: Not that we didn't like it, but it would have been good to learn more about the place and things to do upon arrival.
Pros: Room and location
Pros: The food was delicious, the service was the friendliest imaginable, and the beds were soft. I recommend it wholeheartedly.

Pros: Great location right in the middle of town. Good breakfast. Good library.
Cons: No swimming pool nor other amenities.
Pros: It’s in the city center.
Pros: Nice decoration, clean ,great location if you don’t have a car,if you do parking may be difficult during day time, morning market just opposite the hotel
Cons: Breakfast need more choices but acceptable
Pros: Staff were excellent .Very clean and lots of character.
Cons: Room size was less than expected but clean and well serviced
Pros: Warm take care from staff comfort bed Nice ancient style Location, easy to travel in the city
Cons: No have lift
Pros: Pukha Nanfa is one of the elite hotels in Nan province. Must say the hotel charges quite high for their rooms but it's worth the money. The building is unique. The look might be old but facilities are clean and modern except there is no elevator. No problem with your heavy luggage as there are plenty of staff to help you. But if you use wheelchair it miight be a problem. Breakfast is great, lots of varieties and delicious. Location is good too, close to morning and night markets. If you want to offer food to monks in the morning it's just opposite the hotel. There are people selling freshly cooked food for you to offer the monks.
Cons: No elevator.
Pros: Location is great ,very close to local morning and evening market and everything.Staff very helpful and nice ,love the decoration in hotel very value local culture . Breakfast is great.
Cons: Sounds from road because town very quiet at night .
Pros: Environment and Location
Cons: Too expensive
Cons: No elevators to rooms. Room small and restricted like in a bird cage.
Pros: Very helpful and friendly staff. Very nice a la carte breakfast whit local touch.
With a stay at Baan Nan Hotel in Nan, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Wat Phumin and Wat Suan Tan. Featured amenities include luggage storage and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available on request).
Pros: Breakfast basically Thai , no yogurt. Bed great.
Cons: Small matters such as no hooks in bathroom or closet, not enough shelf or drawer space. The Lighting in the dining room terrible. Otherwise, a great place in an absolutely fabulous city of treasures with huge Thai visitation and almost zero foreign. English not spoken. A real find.
The Banban Nannan Library and Guesthome is an ideal choice for travelers who want to take in the sights and sounds of Nan. It's easy to keep connected with the property's Wi-Fi in designated areas. This hotel makes a great place to kick back and relax after a long day of sightseeing. Guests of this Nan hotel can make use of the parking facilities.
Cons: I found the bedding too hard, but I guess its because I'm used to western standards...
Pros: tranquility and serenity are the best way to describe about this place
Cons: probably the heater for shower could be improved. it was coldest time of the year and the shower was not really hot enough
Pros: Amazing place, very relaxed and clean.
Cons: I liked everything.
Pros: Beautiful place with a wonderful host
Cons: Great espresso and library
Pros: Loved staying in this neighborhood. We were even invited to join the evening dance exercise class across from the wat when we happened by it. The garden had more kinds of plants in bloom than anywhere else we visited and was truly a delight. The laundry setup was great, and there was a shared kitchen and as much drinking water as you wanted. The public spaces in this old teak house were really charming.
Cons: It was pretty challenging to stay in a fan room during such hot weather. My bed was truly hard (and I am generally appreciative of firm mattresses) although the other bed in the room was firm but ok. The bathroom wasn’t well-designed, and the towels were rather peculiar (probably meant to be authentic but not terribly effective).
Pros: I like everything about this place. Best location, local food nearby really tasty, 2 minutes walk to 7-eleven. Owner super friendly.
Pros: Location near top tourist spots. You can walk or bike (free bike in the property). Just like visit your friend's house, ask the owner for anything you want and they can help.
Pros: Nice place. The real home-stay.
Cons: Should check the weather before booking. It’s too hot for stay in some months.
Pros: Lovely ambience at the library with garden and coffee shop great location for night market etc although still peaceful. Very good value for money.
With a stay at Nan Boutique Hotel in Nan, you'll be within a 5-minute drive of Wat Phumin and Wat Suan Tan. Featured amenities include dry cleaning/laundry services, luggage storage, and a library. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available 24 hours).
Pros: Large and well furnished rooms. One of the better breakfast offerings in Nan
Pros: Very pleasant and helpful staff. Plenty of parking. Varied Thai and English breakfast (no bacon....booh!!!). Large room, well equipped bathroom.
Cons: Hard beds. Long flight of stairs to breakfast room (one of our party is in a wheelchair). Poor fans in the breakfast area. Noise from rooms above.
Pros: This is the 2nd year we have stayed at Nan Boutique. The staff are lovely and helpful and the free use of bikes is a huge perk as we spend all day on them. The breakfast is more than substantial with Thai and Western offerings and the location of the open eating area on 2nd level overlooking the green grounds is lovely. It is also very quiet at night.
Cons: I probably won’t stay again as the price is high and the air conditioning units in the room are impossible to control. They are too high or too low and blow directly on the bed. It’s maddening. Also, unless you have a balcony room you really can’t enjoy the fresh air as the windows open slightly and there are no screens. The showers could be much cleaner too.
Pros: convenient place with parking
Cons: - first time in more than 100 bookings, I was downgraded in an almost empty hotel. Administration performance not professional - thats definitively not a boutique hotel, rather a motel like place. - too expensive for what it really is
With a stay at Nantrungjai Boutique Hotel in Nan, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Wat Phumin and Nan Provincial Stadium. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and luggage storage. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided at no charge.
Pros: Location, cleanliness, room size is big.
Pros: Great rooms and good service.
Cons: Renovation at the pool should be mentioned to the customer. Should more European choices in the breakfast.
Pros: The room was fabulous, gardens and pool were great. It’s not in the town centre but we had a car so it wasn’t a problem. Very quiet and peaceful. Would stay there again
Cons: Nothing. It’s a nice place
Pros: Room was large, but not a fan of tiled flooring. The room came with a sofa, which was a nice touch. No English language TV channels. We had ants in the room, to be expected perhaps as this is Thialand. The bathroom was grotty and no bath. Four star my foot.
Cons: Thailand has some very good 4* hotels. This is not a 4* hotel, a 3 at most. The breakfast was 2 *. No bacon, no cheese, no bread rolls, no grits or fried potato, no yoghurt, no muesli or granola, no cakes. Coffee was okay though. The staff wore hoodies! and were inattentive...worst of all were the eggs, they were of the type cooked/fried in water...and were cold!!! I complained to the manager and got a small refund for the breakfast. I'm really not the complaining type but I was just so disappointed.
Pros: its clean easy parking
Cons: shower head terible all blocked very short hose . i went to have breakfast they sad finish 10.30 it is not standart hours not help full not even offer coffee
Pros: The room was extremely spacious and pretty clean. The bed was comfortable, and there were lots of electrical outlets, which was a bonus. The TV had good selections, and the wifi worked well most of the time. The bathroom was also huge with a nice rain shower head. Overall, it was quite a comfortable stay.
Cons: There were some black ants in the room.
Cons: It's locate separate from town
Pros: Valuable, room was clean
Cons: When I was there the room that they give me are not ready to stay, they help me to change the room

Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary (available on request).
Cons: The whole place is falling apart. Hasn’t been decorated for ten years.
Pros: Very quiet. We all got a good nights sleep.
Cons: The pool is shown to be beside the rooms. The reality is that it's a long enough walk that the staff offered the loan of a bicycle. Also the breakfast price is the same (200 baht), whether you have coffee and toast or the full American.
Pros: nO BALCONY AS THEY SHOW ON ALL PHOTOS, NO SWIMMING POOL, THE ONLY REASON TO WE BOOKED THAT HOTEL !!!!
Cons: Everything, pure scam !!
Pros: The staff has upgraded the room to Suite room due to the unavailability of the room booked.
With a stay at Villa De Bua Resort at Nan in Nan, you'll be within a 10-minute drive of Wat Phumin and Nan Provincial Stadium. Featured amenities include luggage storage and laundry facilities. A roundtrip airport shuttle is provided at no charge.
Pros: The hospitality of the owners
Cons: The visit was too short
Pros: This a relatively expensive hotel, but the words "Resort & Spa" conjure up images of a lively place to stay.... not really. The report does have some nice villas which are well furnished, but thats about it. The Resort has that "clean, but abandoned" look. Beds were large and comfy, shower was a bit on the cool side. Breakfast was limited but a nice presentation, and tasted good.
Cons: The young lady on reception seemed very ill-prepared on our arrival ... she had no change for a 1000 bht note, and then looked happy when I joked and said I wud have to go to 7-11. I suggested she went, but with only one person there on duty, that wasn't going to happen .... I had to get change that evening, and settle the last 700 baht in the morning. So then after a long days ride, we wanted some beer.... there was nothing available in reception and the bar by the pool was closed. Yes, the pool was open. but lacked any atmosphere. By then I had given up hope finding out what the "Spa" was ! So with nothing available in the hotel, I still had to go to 7-11 anyway ! The hotel is on the airport link road and there are no convenience stores close by, so be prepared to have to drive outside for any food or refreshments. I'm afraid if the rooms were 1000 bht, it would have been acceptable, but for 1600, it was well overpriced for the whole "experience". And while I appreciate English may not be the first language of the staff, a little bit more enthusiasm would not have gone amiss.
Pros: Nice room, nice staff. Overall it is good, a bit out of town down a bumpy lane but Quiet
Cons: To be worked up at 7am, with a cold breakfast outside room. We didn't get up immediately, so they rang us to make sure we got it. Not very customer friendly
Pros: I've been there with my family (7 people). There were clean rooms and small swimming pool. The price was reasonable.
Cons: You have to go by car. The location of this resort is quite difficult to find.
Pros: Beautiful natural light rooms, and very nice decor.
Cons: I can't complain about anything.
Pros: I loved the quietness of the resort, excellent value for money. Great breakfast, What with fresh fruit, juice, toast, jam and a cooked breakfast as well. The staff especially, Tidetee at reception allways helpfull , smiling along with her little english Liu the housekeeper , Krit the manager and Aee reception at night all really nice and polite people.
Cons: There was nothing I didn't like
Cons: swiming pool not clean
Pros: As it was low season and not many guests, we got an upgrade for our room (from Standard to Villa) which we appreciated a lot as those are very beautiful and spacious rooms! Our little son loved the small but well kept swimming pool and the breakfast was great - almost more than we could finish. We had some laundry done during our brief stay, also wery well handled. You can see the owners put a lot of effort in making this a nice and relaxing place to stay and there are lots of nice details from the decorated garden to the "tree-house-like" terraces. Staff was very friendly and attentive but not all speak a lot of English - still they are all eager to help.
Cons: You need to be aware that this is a rather isolated location if you don't have your own transport and it is NOT in downtown Nan. As we had a rental car with us, this was not an issue at all. You can walk to a few nearby restaurants (the hotel's one was not open when we stayed as we were seemingly the only guests) - a torch or flashlight is recommended in the dark. We particularly liked the friendly Roof44 Café at the airport link road with very friendly staff and good food! This is an area in Thailand where most people don't speak a lot of English so it was no surprise that this was the case in both hotel and restaurant. We probably owe our great breakfast to the very friendly lady of the family who happened to be visting at the same time and spoke excellent English. She helped us order breakfast and provided many nice tipps. Thanks again!

Pros: This place has a nice feel about it and is very quiet. It’s a little bit out of town so if you don’t have your own vehicle it’s just not going to work.
Pros: The lush grounds, quiet location and the swimming pool
Cons: They kindly pick up and drop off at the bus station or airport when you arrive or depart. The only down side staying here is that you do need your own transport to get to and from town on other occasions.
Pros: The staffs are friendly. The bedroom and bathroom are quite wide.
Cons: It is far from center. There is only a restaurant nearly.
Pros: Very friendly and helpfull english speaking owners. Nice and clean swimmingpool. Beautifull garden. Good restaurant with fresh food only 100m away. Menu at reception available. Good breakfast. The place to be in Nan.
Pros: The suroundings and the staff.
Pros: No noise
Pros: Very helpful attentive staff. Asked for breakfast order. Very versatile cooking. Waiting for us a airport. Helped with bags. Upgraded us for free.
With a stay at Ban Rim Nam Riverside Resort in Nan, you'll be on a river, within a 5-minute drive of Wat Phumin and Nan Hospital. Featured amenities include luggage storage and laundry facilities. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Norman is a splendid chap and his garden is a delight. His Thai other half is a good sort too. They have a nice view of the town from the other side of the river, so it's probably better to have a car if you're staying there. There is shaded and secure on site parking. The property has four simple small suites in a diamond shaped building in the middle of their sizeable garden...rather small bedroom but it's adequate the living area is a decent size.
Cons: Let me say that all properties in Nan carry a higher price than many other places because as yet there are so few of them. I did feel that for what we paid, breakfast might have been included. Internet was not very good I'm afraid and although this property is in a quiet side-street down by the river, Norman's neighbour has hens and a cockerel... and he get's down to business shortly after midnight and carries on all night. Not their fault of course (but you might want earplugs).
Pros: The owner came to clean the toilet
Cons: The location on Booking.com map is wrong position. It s difficult to find the place as following to the google map. VIP room has just a pack of coffee which was open by someone and left half of it. Untidy toilet and bathroom. Bed has a lot of dust. But the owner came to clean it after asking. Other rooms make loud noise by talking and singing.
Pros: The owner very friendly and helpful , great person, offered free transportation when ever needed
Cons: Distance to town,
Pros: Peaceful and lovely property with river views. An English speaking host with long acquaintanceship with the town was wonderful.
Cons: Walking to restaurants for dinner was awkward, a little too far until we had bikes...but the host also was willing to drive us
Cons: It was perfectly adequate but hot water not working properly and it was a little expensive for what we got.
Pros: Lovely hot bath. Riverside breeze. ~1km from centre.
Cons: The maids effort was disappointing.
Pros: Great hosts who made you feel welcome as accommodation was in their home. Great breakfast, great view from balcony. Accommodation out of town so transport necessary. Great views of the Nan river.
Cons: We found the air conditioning a bit too warm but there was a fan available which did help.

Pros: Great hotel
Cons: Room needs to remodel
Pros: Large, classic hotel near the market and not far from many interesting temples. Not too far from tourist office. Free map. Although it is not brand-new, it is very comfortable for a fair price. Large rooms with nice view, good bathroom. Back side was quiet. Comfortable bed, not too hard for Thai standards. Daily cleaning service. Very good Asian and European buffet breakfast at THB 100 per person. Bikes for rent THB 100 per day. Airport shuttle THB 50 per person. Free small pool. Credit card payment without surcharge.
Cons: Although everything looked clean,we didn't like the tiny ants which continued appearing on the TV-table in the room and on the wash basin.
Pros: Very good location and twin beds.
Cons: There is free service transportation from the airport.
Pros: Good location, nice service, and cleanliness
Cons: Air-conditioner works too slow and it’s not cool enough.
Pros: People said this hotel is central located but all I feel it is near the market, banks and many seminars going on inside ....... I guess the center for being a traveler is more to the National Museum side. The hotel pool is busy daily around 4 pm with regular coach having swimming lessons for kids, cos one can enter with 60 baht/pax ........ I rush for a quick swim when some of them start moving toward the changing room at 6 pm cos they closed at 7 !! This city is lack of information for travelers in English and Tuk-tuk are not an easy issue.
Cons: Can not enjoy the pool fully but can understand the hotel marketing, cos after all, business is business.
Pros: The location is great
Cons: The staff weren’t particularly friendly . A kettle wasn’t supplied in the room
Pros: In the decending order (1) location (2) staff attitude (3) traditional atmosphere of the hotel (reserved, clean and cultural) (4) good value for money.
Cons: Notheing serious, but the qualityof breakfast has gone down since five years ago.
