10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice quite location. Restaurant and breakfast very good.
Cons: Pool shut at 6:30pm, in summer could have been open until sun set.
3.3 Mediocre
Cons: The hotel is located in the middle of an industrial zone. It’s old and not well kept. The elevator didnt work, there was mold on the roof, and the rooms smelled awful. At night you could hear music from far away until 2am. The pictures online are misleading. It’s a 2-3star hotel.
7.9 Good
Pros: Nice place with nice swimming pool
Cons: Quality of the restaurant... I’m not sure if it is the same owner... Breakfast should have more choices!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: nice spacious quiet location with lots of parking space nice swimming pool and goed onsite restaurant
Cons: nothing
7.9 Good
Pros: Good sized bedroom and bathroom with comfortable bed. Lovely complex.
Cons: Pool was shut a day earlier than stated and had hoped to eat at the restaurant but it was closed on Mondays. Closeto a ?stone depot, so during the day there was a lot of lorry noise. Also some noise travelling between rooms etc.
7.5 Good
Pros: The staff were friendly and helpful
Cons: The swimming pool and grounds were messy and not well looked after. We felt like we had arrived off-season and everything was closed. The restaurant was also partly closed. The room was small.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: free breakfast was great. plenty of selection. Pool closed earlier then we would have liked. There is a restaurant adjoining the hotel. The food was good, service was ok, communication was very tough.
Cons: Wifi service could use an upgrade. Shower was extremely small. i would say there are many people that could not fit into the shower.

7.9 Good
Pros: Good value for money, nice location but you need a car to move around as there is nothing walking distance
Cons: Didn't like having to wait about 15 minutes for check out as the only available person was busy providing very detailed road directions to two other clients....
5.0 Okay
Pros: Bed was comfortable and breakfast was good.
Cons: There isn't a restaurant due to management problems. No bar. No safety deposit box in room. Very dreary and sad building.
3.8 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Evening meal I thought was not as expected from the pictures of the food on the website.Booked thinking we were staying in the main building and not the seperate building that says is for contractors. Looked closed when we arrived and sturuggled to find anyone. Eventually went to main building and found the entrance and a man said we were in the outside building, he took us outside and pointed to where our room was and didn't even take us up or show us our room. Wanted to arrange a table in the restaurant which after booking the room on the strength of a restaurant being on site and looking good on the site turned out to be closed but too late to cancel. The room had a really strong smell of air freshener which gave me a headache. Realised in the night why the air freshener was there when we opened the bathroom door to smell what smelt like sewerage. Decided couldn't face breakfast so checked out and left most dissappointed.
7.5 Good
Pros: Old Country Style House & Accommodation.
Cons: On site Restaurant was closed This wasn’t communicated at the time of booking

6.3 Good
Pros: Nice property, nice view
Cons: Our welcome was terrible. When we remarked that we expected the booked Junior suite to be bigger (it is terribly crammed), Marco (I guess the son of the owner) just barked at us and lamented about all these people making bad comments on booking.com. He clearly has an issue with booking.com, but where did these negative comments disappear to? Makes you wonder. As we were the only guests he upgraded us to a bigger room within the building -Thanks! Unfortunately, the room turned out to be not very practical, as bed and bathroom are downstairs, while the wardrobe is inconveniently on an upper floor. Breakfast we had to make ourselves (tea, cakes etc provided), even though on booking.com it clearly states that a sweet breakfast is served in the room -contrary to Marco’s repeated denial. The photos on the website look fantastic and made us choose this accommodation. It shows as well, that the owners are aware of how it SHOULD be. But in reality the place has a not lived in and not properly cared for look. No flower pots, no cushions on hard metal garden chairs, no table clothes, no TLC. A real shame as the property and the location are pretty and quiet (except for all those barking dogs during the night). The common rooms (living, dining with fireplace, all so beautifully documented on the website) are off limits after 9.oo pm, so they can be used by the owners. That alone explains their attitude towards guests. Podere Costa Romano lacks a good care taker, one who makes you feel WELCOME.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: All the place, including the gardens surrounding the estate, is very clean and maintained in perfect conditions. It is also in a very good position to roam around one of the most beautiful regions in italy
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The owner very friendly and helpful . Beautiful house!
Cons: Everything was fine, but did not accept credit cards.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Immaculately maintained 19th century country mansion, Marco upgraded us to a larger room, with great views of the scenic countryside. Marco is a great host, he gave us recommendations for restaurants and sightseeing in the area. We enjoyed the swimming pool. We would be happy to come back anytime!

Cons: Nada
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast each morning was delightful and the service was excellent. The villa was amazing and renovated in a truly authentic Umbrian style. The furnishings were comfortable and had the wonderful provenance of family history. The grounds were simply gorgeous with many different seating areas for relaxation. Our stay at Torre Palombara was made uniquely special simply by the warm and caring family who own the villa. Leonardo and his beautiful family did everything from giving us a private tour of Narni to setting up a table each afternoon for our wine and cheese on the lovely terrace. He aims to please and gave us many helpful tips for our daily adventures through the Green Heart of Italy!
Cons: Dinner is not served at Torre Palombara but future guests will be able to drive a short distance to Leonaro's latest project, a renovation of a farmhouse into an authentic Umbrian Restaurant.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This place was perfect. Leonardo (the host) was outstanding and helped us out with everything and we had a couple of great days which we will remember for a long time. Will of course come back and I will recommend this place to everyone who needs a couple of calm days away from the big city stress. Simply spectacular.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: When a place does what they do so well that you want to visit again and bring your friends you know you've struck gold. Beautiful surroundings, impeccable service and the chance to really discover the area thanks to Leonardo who goes out of his way to share his knowledge. For a seamless Umbrian experience look no further!! Thank you Leonardo and family and thank you Torre Palombara.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property has so much character with commanding views over the surrounding countryside, the owners and staff so helpful and friendly. It was a very relaxing stay. With so many terraces, a beautiful pool and sitting rooms to enjoy, it was easy to feel as though we had the place to ourselves.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We were enchanted right from the beginning! The building is centuries old but it has been taking care of admirably. The rooms are very clean and all with a beautiful view. Breakfast is delicious and, during warmer seasons, you have a spacious terrace where you can consume it while looking at the beautiful and very quiet landscape. It's the perfect place if you want to relax. Leonardo, the host, also knows and can recommend a few places where to have delicious lunch or dinner. We'll definitely come back!
Cons: Absolutely nothing.
