Cons: Closer parking would have been nice.

Pros: Was very good - no fridge in room and I had insulin injection - bit kept it cool in bathroom in water! I have booked up again for July 2019 as i like the hotel and it's location however it is very expensive!
Cons: The prices for room service is very expensive and then you also have to pay an additional amount on top of price - didn't use it for this reason!! Think with the costs of room breakfast should be included!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, great staff! Room was spacious for 3 people! Enjoyed it very much! Highly recommend
6.5 Good
Pros: Extremely loud party on top floor. Awful noise. Pounding music. Drunks yelling in hallways late into the night. Have not experienced this party noise/vibe since college dorm days. Awful first night. Next night much quieter, but walls are clearly thin as we could hear next door TV clearly until they turned it off around 11pm. Would not suggest staying here on a weekend if parties scheduled. Bring your ear plugs. Included breakfast was very crowded, but food prepared well. Service staff spread very thin, but nice.
Cons: Noise! Party extremely loud on weekend.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was good, quite close to main shopping and socialising areas. The property was clean and functional, and the bed was very comfortable. The staff were particularly friendly, and the male staff member at reception that was meeting and greeting guests was really helpful and informative and made checking in a pleasure.
Cons: The hotel is right next door to a building site, which could disturb some guests, however for our part we had minimal disturbance as we were there over a weekend. As expected from a chain hotel, the decor etc. is quite functional and there's nothing particularly fancy about it, but it served the purpose for the weekend.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing and friendly staff. The food was great too, I tried the Lamb Burger, then White Chocolate Cheesecake. One of the best hotel meals I've ever had, 10/10. Such a good location too, just across the street from Great Victoria Street (bus & train) station. Nice views from my corner room too.

Overview Reviews
At Hotel ETAP Belfast, we make sure our friendly team is on hand around the clock to make sure you're never left in the lurch. So whether you want an unlimited continental breakfast in the morning, a cup of tea at 2pm or a piping-hot pizza at 3am, you onl y have to ask. And with our pet-friendly setup, we're one of the few hotel chains that happily welcomes furry friends as well as their owners, so bring them along for the adventure!
7.4 Good
Pros: It is located within walking distance of several places. The price is great on a budget, and the room was very clean. Staff was nice.
Cons: There is not much bathroom privacy, so make sure you are with someone you are comfortable with. I was, so it wasn't much of a problem. Would prefer a bathroom without automatic light so that I can turn it off quickly if used in the middle of the night, so that it doesn't continue to shine into the room for 20 minutes. Also, local bar next door was a bit noisy from our room. For quiet, request a room further away from bar.
3.6 Mediocre
Cons: There were crumbs on the desk, the fan in the shower had a centimeter of dust on it and the vinyl floors in the bathroom were stained and dirty. The most disgusting hotel room I have ever been in. We booked online at thee times the rate they were advertising at the hotel. Couldn't believe it!
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Na
Cons: The staff upon check out didn't seen to care about my stay didn't even ask how I enjoyed my stay. I was running late so didn't have the time to compalin.
6.0 Good
Pros: A good sized room with the bare essentials of facilities for a really great price, in a good location. Decently comfortable beds and basic TV accessible. Very clean and regularly topped up with soap etc.
Cons: The toilet facilities in rooms need a rethink in this particular ETAP location. In most European ETAP hotels the toilet and shower are in together as another separate room, making them fairly private. However, the shower and the toilet are just in the room by themselves in Belfast, which makes sharing a room a very intimate experience... I understand that major works cannot be done on switching the room layout, but at least putting full doors on the toilet would make them feel less exposed. Also, providing kettles would be nice.
7.0 Good
Pros: Staff were great and price was good considering we just needed somewhere cheap and cheerful
Cons: Toilet door doesn’t meet the floor, quite a large gap at the bottom. A full door would obviously be better for privacy and comfort
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Rates were cheap and room was clean and warm Comfortable bed
Cons: Too much noise from next door bar and room was clean but has nothing other than bar soap. You need to even pay for a cup of hot water from lounge. No coffee port in room:
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff were really friendly and the facilities were pretty decent for a budget hotel. Liked being able to buy a beer at check in from the front desk :)
Cons: The bedroom was comfortable but I did find the ensuite situation a little bit weird. The shower basically opened out into the room and the sink was by the bed.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Shower was big, I liked that the toilet was in a separate room to the shower. Toilet had good privacy.
Cons: The charger was located too far away from the bed so you couldn’t lie in bed and go on your phone while it’s charging.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Really good location, slap bang in the middle of Belfast. Clean room, comfy bed, nice and easy check in. Exactly what I needed from a budget hotel for a short stay.
Cons: Nothing.
4.0 Okay
Pros: Location
Cons: Room tiny , toilet door didn’t lock , no wardrobe facilities,

Pros: Staff were simply amazing . Super friendly and helpful . They went up and beyond the call of duty to put a smile on our faces , help us with anything we needed . Gave excellent information and local facilities and places to try.
Cons: Only thing is that if both mine and my friends rooms were beside each other’s. But they were swamp and fully booked out and it didn’t dampen or ruin our weekend
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Everything
9.4 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was great, the staff was very helpful, and I am going to miss the Breakfast.
2.5 Mediocre
Cons: With the current state of the corona virus and travelling from the Republic of Ireland where there is travel restrictions in place. I asked the hotel to rebook the dates for a later date in the year which they would not facilitate. Not good for business as someone who travels to the city regularly will not stay here..
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Good large rooms with good facilities, excellent breakfast with lots of variety
Cons: Room a little stuffy and air conditioning very loud
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Firstly, the staff are incredible! They went above and beyond to make our last night of our wedding trip that was rightfully cut short due to the early stages of the COVID-19 outbreak very memorable. The front desk was quick to check us in and very kind in the process. We were upgraded to a bigger room, and had a plate of very tasty desserts waiting for us upon arrival. The restaurant had a limited menu, but everything we had was spectacular (especially the chowder!) and the chef was extra kind to come out and say hello to us. Follow the bartending staff for suggestions on a gin and tonic, because I had one of the best in my life there. The room we had was large, comfortable, and had an excellent bathroom. The bed + linens were the most comfortable we had on the trip.
Cons: That we didn't have a longer stay? Honestly, there wasn't anything that threw us off at all.

Pros: Location was handy
Cons: Issue with the air conditioning all night (too late to be getting up complaining and getting them to change room) it was making noise intermittently and affecting our sleep. When we mentioned this the next day they only offered a discount if we stayed again, and wouldn't even cover our parking fare as compensation

Cons: Staff were quite food at check in giving a poor check in experience
9.1 Excellent
Pros: Most of the staff were friendly. The rooms were not too small, bathroom was small but efficient and had everything you need, also good wifi. Convenient location as well.
Cons: There was a slight smell in the corridors, didn't bother me much but can be improved. I wasn't aware of any meal deals, but had a 3 course dinner at their restaurant - starters and dessert was great, the mains not so great as they were dry (chicken and burger). There weren't many food options though.

Pros: The hotel has a pool gym and sauna
Cons: Our room did not lock we where told to leave our bags on nothing would happen only after I pushed back did we get another room with a working lock then the safe deposit was not working we asked for two repairs but at the end both where not working properly and to top it off our keys kept getting swiped everytime we went out had to keep going to reception to reprogram them
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Nothing.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Comfortable room, 2 big twin beds. Staff were very helpful and polite. Complimentary water, lovely products in the bathroom. Easy for the reception desk to order you a taxi if needed. At breakfast the chef kindly made us a fresh egg as we went in when in was finishing (10.30am) so they were putting the hot stuff away. Would stay again!
Cons: A bit further out so if you’re wanting to be in the city would recommend staying further in but easy to get a taxi. Just check the map for what you need. The breakfast was quite expensive for what you could get in town but prices all in line with hotel.
6.3 Good
Pros: Dinner on Saturday in the restaurant, best steak ever tasted.
Cons: There was no accessible shower in the accessible room we were allocated.

Pros: location and value
4.3 Okay
Pros: The staff on reception were friendly and there was a direct telephone line to a local taxi service that we used as the hotel was quite far away from anywhere!
Cons: The room was dirty - the carpet had not been hoovered or if it had not very well! There was hair, chocolate, & an elastic band on the floor. The bath had lots of hairs in it as did the bathroom floor. We had to phone down to reception three times before anyone came to clean it and then it was the receptionist who had to come to do it! We went to use the swimming facilities but were told that noone was allowed in the pool without a swimming cap and that we could buy them for £6 each!
6.3 Good
Pros: the spa was only brilliant
Cons: the bed was not so comfortable
4.4 Okay
Pros: The rooms were nice
Cons: 2 continental breakfasts & 3 fry breakfasts got charged even though there was only 4 people in the rooms. Also a room service charge of 30 pounds was on the bill even though none of us had ordered room service. When queried it took the staff half an hour to get a breakdown of the what the room service charges were for.
