Pros: Friendly welcome included a complimentary glass of schnaps with our host. Bountiful, tasty breakfast. (Our host was carrying a batch of freshly gathered eggs in her apron when we arrived!) Gorgeous, picture-postcard view from our room of two little chapels on a mountainside. Beautifully restored 350-year-old farmhouse with numerous antiques. Great location for our next morning's drive on the Grossglockner highway (an unforgettable sight).
Cons: Nothing. One of the finest farmhouse stays we've ever experienced.
Pros: Good location near to the mountains; friendly & homemade atmosphere; nice and clean apartment
Cons: without any serious one

Pros: Uniquely designed boutique hotel, 500 year old property with 21 century design features. Lovely hosts.
Pros: This is a bit odd type of hotel; not what you'd expect. It focuses completely on games; it's pretty old and in a somewhat quieter area of Austria. Yet, at the same time, it has everything you need, it's very well maintained, we really enjoyed all the games there, and the host is simply wonderful. We had a very nice stay here, and a good breakfast.
Pros: Beautiful, charming and unique hotel, just off the beaten track. Housed in a 350 year old building, with a beautiful, relaxing garden (with a mountain view), we were welcomed instantly upon arrival by Dieter (the owner) and shown around. The hotel has the theme of "Spielen und Lesen" (reading and playing), and one room is devoted to board games for all ages. There is also a library (mostly in German) and music you can take and listen to in your room on your own CD player. There is giant ludo in the garden and a play area for children. The beds are super-comfortable and you can hear the stream from your bed. There is a cosy lounge overlooking the garden and a well-stocked honesty bar with drinks and snacks. Breakfast was plentiful, fresh and tasty, with lots of home-made items. We ate an evening meal nearby, at a traditional small restaurant (1.5 km away), recommended by our host. Also delicious! We will definitely be back to play some games, relax and explore the area a bit more!
Pros: Super friendly and accommodating owners, beautiful location and views
Pros: Friendly helpful owner, very quiet location in front of church.
Cons: Wifi was bad
Pros: The owner. Very kind!
Cons: Everything was nice
Pros: Beautiful family run residence, gorgeous views, awesome breakfast; fresh fruit, coffee, assortment of breads & spreads - eggs how you like. Friendly and helpful host.
Cons: Nothing to note.
Pros: The owner was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were very clean and very spacious. The breakfast was lovely. A very comfortable place to stay.
Pros: The location (and the very nice view from the room) and the friendly welcome. The location in Nikolsdorf is very quiet but still close enough to the city of Lienz.
Cons: There is nothing that we didn't like. If we have to think of something, it might be the pillows with duck feathers, which sometimes stick out with the sharp end and can feel uncomfortable :)

Pros: Friendly and helpful staff. Comfortable and clean. Good value tasty half board offer. We hired e-bikes for a day which was great value and great fun. Location is good and close to Lienz, the high Alps and the Dolomites.
Pros: Good bar service, and the set dinner was actually very good, although no a la carte to choose from. Breakfast very good.
Cons: We choose this place because of the spa and pool, but that area was to our surprise strictly nude dresscode, so not our cup of tea, so to speak!

Pros: Very nice. People are very kind and the room is clean. Very Good breakfast
Pros: We stayed only one night because we were on a trip via Grossglockner pass and everything was perfect. Host is really kind and friendly. She even prepared a baby cot for our one year old baby.

Pros: Very friendly host and tasty breakfast
Pros: The host is a very nice lady, who prepared a delicious dinner for us when we arrived. The house is very tidy and clean and the hosts are very friendly.
Pros: Eggs were perfectly boiled, fresh and tasty. Food was bio, excellent quality.
Cons: Price, too expensive taking everything into account.
Pros: Kindness of the owners was over expectation! Very nice area and good food. Excellent place also for children.
Cons: Bad could be more comfortable.
Pros: Absolutely loved it, unfortunately could only stay one night. But there was absolutely nothing to complain about, and if we find ourselves in that area again, I'd have no hesitation staying there again. Recommend 100%. Please note, read their blurb on Booking.com - only take cash - oops, we had to go to the cash point.
Cons: Nothing to complain about
Pros: Very laid back and homelike! The woman who runs it is very kind, and a good hostess.
Cons: I got locked in once, and had to wait for her sons to come home, so I could get out.

Pros: Room was OK not luxurious.
Cons: Charged us extra to tidy our room when not asked and did not want. Bill was not that as stated on booking. Com but 18 euros more.
Pros: Family run hotel. The staff were friendly and the decor of the hotel is really cool. We stayed in the Summer but it would be wonderful and cosy in the Winter.
Pros: Very welcoming, everything was fantastic to be honest, it was so good we are trying to think of a reason to visit that area again. Would recommend to anyone
Cons: That its so far away
Pros: Chance to visit Leinz
Cons: It is not thought for non german speaking guests. Did not explain the available options in the breakfast. No one came to us even in the first day to give us the options. Not sure if this happened because of the language. As simple as generating a sign in english explaining the options would solve the issue. Same with the posible routes and visits. One Paper in the entrance would do. It seems they are not very interested in the non german speaking posible customers. They had no Bikes for kids so we could not use them.
Pros: Helpful and friendly staff. Good breakfast and dinner. Clean room with balcony. Quite quirky hotel, with a mixture of modern and old.
Cons: Perhaps a cultural thing, but smoking is allowed throughout the hotel, even in the restaurant. Not pleasant!! Even though I used a credit card for the initial booking which was used OK for check-out, all the food, drink etc within the hotel had to be paid for with cash. Don't really understand why.
Pros: This place is amazing! Owners were extremely helpful and kind, and all the food is absolutely delicious. If you're staying there, you shoud try beef tartar steak - it' s one of the best things I've tried! Also, home made products are available there, so it's great if you want to bring home some souvenirs - those really are home made (the owners are producing them). Rooms are spatious and cosy, and the view from the balcony is beautiful. They also have new, spatious sauna and a natural swimming pool. Great thing about this place is that everything is close - whether you decide to go swimming, skiing, hiking, sightseeing,... all activities are doable when you're staying there. Last but not the least, 10 meters from the hotel is a small, privately own museum - if you want to turn back 2000 years, this is a place to go. Highly reccomended for both active and relaxing vacation! P.s. if you plan to stay for a few days only, count it double!
The 3-star Hotel Stadlwirt is located in the centre of Rangersdorf, 1 km from the nearest ski complex. It offers spacious rooms with satellite TV and a private bathroom. Free Wi-Fi is available. All rooms at the Stadlwirt are bright and decorated with wooden features and warm colours. Each comes with a work desk and a bathroom with a shower. Breakfast is served in the breakfast room. There is also an on-site restaurant, which specialises in Italian and Austrian dishes. Guests can rent bicycles, relax in the games room or go hiking in the area. There is also a garden with a children’s playground available. Free on-site parking is provided. Hotel Stadlwirt is situated 200 metres from the nearest ski bus stop. Popular ski resorts, Heiligenblut and Mölltalergletscher, are both 20 km away.
Pros: Set in a pretty village, this establishment offers stunning views. The room with breakfast buffet was adequate and loads of parking space around.
Pros: Very friendly establishment, with the peculiarity of allowing smoking in the bar, which will certainly put some people off. However, it's god value, the food and drink were fine so I'd happily revisit.
Cons: As is common in small German & Austrian towns the church bells sound the hour and each quarter in between, exploding into an extended peel at six a.m. So beware if you have a room overlooking the street.
Pros: Friendly bed and breakfast on our route from Bormio to Vienna. Nice atmosphere and good food for dinner in the restaurant. Breakfast was very good.
Cons: Rooms and bathroom were a bit basic, althought this is no surprise due to competitive price. Overall good value for money.
Pros: Kind staffs Delicious restaurant Enough good breakfast
Cons: No soap and no shower gel Smoke in the lobby from bar
Pros: Great calm location, parking space in front of the hotel. Nice view from the room.
Cons: Check out time according to booking was at 10am. The day before we asked for 30 mins flexibility but due to non English speakers we probably did not make it clear. At 10:02am, just when we were literally about to leave the room the cleaning lady knocked strongly at hour door and told us to leave the room now. We embarrassed rushed out of the room while she went back to clean another room. Honestly everything was great (even tho no English speaker) but the last situation on our door was very embarrassing and I would not go back because of that mistake.
Cons: I was totally disapointed :( Why do stuff allow guests smoke inside? The ground floor is the restaurant, and it was impossible to breathe inside because of nicotine smoke everywhere! So we left hungry. Despite it's forbidden to smoke on the other floors , the smoke however rises from the ground floor and spreads everywhere. Disgusting smell. The stuff was little bit rude and ignorant.
Pros: Breakfast and hotel were great, we had a great time here, the staff was very helpful, thanks for the service!
Pros: Very comfortable
Cons: The smell of stale cigarette smoke upstairs
Pros: Very nice place in mountains
Located in Oberdrauburg, Gasthof Pontiller is within a 15-minute drive of Herb House "Pfarrstadel" and Golfclub Drautal/Berg. Featured amenities include multilingual staff, a library, and ATM/banking services. Free self parking is available onsite.
Pros: Location direct on the "Drauradweg".
Cons: Staff was not professional, furniture and bath are traditional.
Pros: Good location
Cons: All ok
Pros: There is a large private parking and was included on hotel price. The structure overall is nice and clean as are the rooms and common areas.
Cons: The rooms are a bit old, the should be a bit renovated. I have nothing against the stuff which does a great job in taking care of the guests but the communication should be easier.
Pros: Helpful staff that was eager to please.
Cons: Indoor smoking in the dining area.
Pros: Great location and amazing friendly staff. Food in hotel restaurant - 10/10. I stay one more time in this hotel during next trip.
Cons: Everything was OK. Description very good.
Pros: Everything was great, lovely host and very helpful.
Cons: I couldn’t make the hairdryer work and a socket on the right side table didn’t work either, unfortunately noticed it before leaving that nothing charged.
Pros: Value for money is good.
Cons: There was no ventilation in the bathroom, the room was a bit loud in summer, with open windows.
Pros: Very comfortable- great staff
Pros: We were very satisfied during our stay. The interior gives a good feeling of history, yet is well maintained and clean. Staff was very helpful; most of all the owner, who did his best to fulfill our needs. It was a delight to see him everywhere, greeting the guests with a smile and resolving problems add they were coming. Really the old school Klasse!
Cons: It would be nice if the bathroom has an active ventilation; but it's nothing you cannot live without.
Pros: Poor breakfast. Value for money below average. Smelly carpet in the room.
