10.0 Excellent
Pros: The house is beautiful
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Delightful turn of the century mansion ( over 120 years old). Lindsay took us on a tour of all the rooms and explained about all the architecture and furnishings. Very informative! John, the manager, arranged for us to have a special TV brought into the men's parlor to watch championship NFL football games on Jan 20. Don't worry, the women were watching the game in there too! I really appreciated his caring about our interests. Lindsay also was very helpful with dinner suggestions, although we found our own ( mentioned in the booklet left in each room) . The Boll Weevil down by the Riverwalk over on the Georgia side. Visited Redcliffe Plantation State Park ( and plantation house), about 10 miles away the next morning and Augusta Historical Museum before we checked in on Saturday. Both worthy of visits. Great visit and we loved the Lookaway Inn. A special place not to be missed.
Cons: Would have liked a little more breakfast. I realized it was continental, but some ham, cheese, and rolls would have been nice. ( as they serve in Europe). A little more protein would have been better. But there is a Waffle House about 1/2 miles away so we stopped there for lunch before the 2 hours trip back to Atlanta.

Pros: Everything. The owners were like visiting friends. They love their home and love sharing it. We got a tour of the house with the history of the house and the original owner. They thought of everything for our convenience....water, soda, wine, snacks, temperature. There was reading material, water by the bed and a bed warmer. They had list of restaurants and knew about each one. Great place worth going to North Augusta just to stay there!
Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like.

Pros: Loved the greeting and the tour of the Inn. The Innkeepers were awesome. They love what they do. Every detail was taken care of. All we had to do was relax and enjoy the beautiful historic surroundings. We think our room had the best view in the Inn. We slept like babies and then enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Easy access and so close to everything but still peaceful and quiet. We will return!

Cons: The bathroom could have been a bit bigger, but hey, the house was built in 1902! But it was so well appointed we didn’t mind!

Pros: Diana and Kelly were exceptional!!! Friendly, helpful with an AMAZING B&B. It reminded me of Tara from Gone with the Wind. It was wonderful!!

1.0 Poor
Pros: I thought the property was very nice. Staff was very nice and professional.
Cons: The smell of my room, on the third floor, it had a terrible mildew smell. Spraying it with febreeze fabric didn’t help much, I ended up being very overwhelmed by the lingering smell, and left due to it. The mildew seemed to be coming from water damage that was visible on the carpet next to the air conditioning unit. I did like my room, but unfortunately the smell was too much of a bother and ruined my experience.

Pros: It was better than sleeping in my car.

7.0 Good
Pros: Good Size Room. Breakfast is OK. Not a lot of variety however.
Cons: Seems to be a problem with the TV's in this property. Several previous stays at this hotel and this stay as well, hotel staff had to come into the room to manually re-set the cable router box and the TV itself. This is a TV equipment issue.

1.0 Poor
Pros: I didn’t want breakfast because the room was nasty and I’m sure the kitchen was nasty as well
Cons: We traveled 3 hours for my dad to have a restless night at a highly disappointing hotel. We were there because my dad had to undergo another biopsy because Another mass has been found on my dads lung because he had 1 lung previously removed due to cancer so he only has 1 lung. The smell was horrible for my dad which contributed, along with the other things, to a restless night. We’ve stayed at another Baymont & we thought all Baymonts would have the same values but we found out we were wrong. We read reviews & looked at the property online & was quickly deceived upon entering the room because we killed a roach, flying bug, crawling bug, two spiders, & the bed had pubic hairs with nasty gunk on the sheets when we pulled back the covers in the first room so we were moved to another room that we settled for because the sheet were better and my dad was tired with weakness so I couldn’t keep moving him. Then, I reserved double queen beds and got double full beds in both rooms.
1.0 Poor
Pros: I checked in the room took a shower & once I got ready to laydown i pulled the sheets back& the bed sheet had a big round circular blood stain in it the stain Was the size OF A pillow! It was very DISGUSTING. I instantly took a picture called the office.
Cons: Phone broke my dislike is above

Pros: The bed was very comfortable.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Poorly staffed. Had to switch rooms 3 times. First room had rocks on the bathroom floor, second room ran out of water in the middle of my daughters shower, toilet got clogged and no one could fix or get a plunger. Third room was decent. Not a 3 star.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: The lobby and the free breakfast.
Cons: Called the front desk for an extra towel and they told me to go find the housekeeper. Business was broke. They had zero working computers. Housekeeping did not refill shampoo. Towels smelled like cigarette smoke and I did too after I dried off.
6.0 Good
Pros: Close to where we wanted to be.
Cons: Key did not work well in door. Wash cloth was paper thin. Did not deserve a 3 star rating
9.0 Excellent
Pros: 3 visit and great each to.e
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Staff was not knowledgeable or friendly. Room had lamp by front window and very dim light over sink. None of the outlets for charging phones worked. We called before booking to see if pool was useable and was told yes causing us to pay extra $14 per night
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was much cleaner than i thought it was going to be. The hotel had free cookies, happy hour & a nice breakfast. If it was warm enough, the pool area would have been really nice
Cons: You can tell they really try to keep it clean, there was just a few places in the room where you could tell it was old.
2.0 Mediocre
Pros: Building and rooms run down and need upgrade and attention. Neglect is the word that best describes the entire complex.
1.0 Poor

Pros: It was nice that the 5th floor had its very own complimentary breakfast
Cons: Although I had reservations, when I arrived for my checkout time, and the desk clerk asked me which floor I would like to stay on...they didn't have any rooms readily available on that floor. So I had to wait...so I told her that I would stay on the 5th floor which was a $30 more charge...they decided to charge me with only $15 instead of the $30. Although I personally think there shouldn't be any charge due to no rooms being readily available when I arrived for check-in.

Pros: Hotel was nice and staff was excellent
Cons: The fact that they didn't serve a complimentary breakfast and the the outrageous price that the hotel restaurant was charging for breakfast was a absolute turn off...

1.0 Poor
Pros: It was cheap.
Cons: Getting into the property at 3 in the afternoon was a pain. Our room was stuffy. Someone who “cleaned” or had the room before me smoked a joint, and left their roach on the bathroom counter. The shower stall had mold in it, and the door didn’t shut all the way. The bathroom walls looked like someone dripped liquid rust down them, and the toilet felt like it was going to fall over any second. Definitely not worth the $55 I paid, but I guess you get what you pay for.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing
Cons: Roaches in bathroom and people were arguing outside

Cons: There were several bugs crawling on the tables, floor and in my bed.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff, & location
Cons: Need to spray 4 roaches
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing at all
Cons: Room was filthy. Looked like the only thing cleaned was the bedding and towles. you could see where bugs had been smashed on the walls and left. Nasty used tooth pick on sink and some sort of wet filth splashed on the wall.
1.0 Poor
Pros: Nothing!
Cons: Oh the list is long. But the property was absolutely filthy. I booked this hotel because it was last minute and rushed . I was coming into town for a funeral and I need a place to stay for the few days I would be in town. The room I was placed in nasty as hell. Literally there were stains on all the sheets and the thin as comforters they had on the beds. The carpet was filthy. The refrigerator was dirty, the bathroom was dirty , to sum it up EVERYTHING was dirty. It was late so we decided not to complain just yet. And I had a bottle of bleach with me so I used that to make everything at least decent enough. But then when I went to go take a shower in the morning. THE SHOWER DIDN’T WORK! So the manager gave me a key to room next door to me which turned out to be even FILTHIER!! So she took me on a small tour to pick a room. And I must say it was disgusting! Never again will I book a stay at a Super 8. And her explanation was “ You realize this ain’t the Hilton Inn & this a old building, sometimes people put cigarette holes in the sheets but they still clean and the carpet just looks like that it’s still shampooed”

Cons: My only issue were the few roaches that popped up. I’ve already read reviews about the roach problem here. Within my time staying, I spotted 3 roaches.
