Pros: Lovely place, with very nice feel. Enjoyed the simple breakfast and the breakfast room particularly. The host couldn’t have been nicer - we let him know at short notice that we would be arriving two hours after checkin finished, he was waiting for us at the door when we arrived and completely relaxed about it. Very peaceful place.
Pros: Off road parking for the motorbike Simply furnished but very large room with plenty of space for all our gear Oil filled heater was very appreciated for drying after getting soaked in a mountain storm
Cons: Town centre is quite a long walk if you don't want to get back on the bike and have a few beers Limited number of restaurants due to July closures
Pros: The owner couldn’t have been more pleasant. Breakfast in the pretty main room was very simple (OJ and bread with butter and good coffee made to order by said owner). Our corner 68 EUR room was sweet and clean. Not luxurious but it was 68 EUR after all. The location at the bottom of a hill on top of which an old chateau/donjon sits is very charming. One can walk down the road and find several good restaurants in five minutes time.
Cons: There was nothing I didn’t like.
Pros: Lovely room, lovely village. Host was very friendly and helpful. If we come back to the region we will definitely return
Cons: Nothing to dislike
Pros: Exceptional stay, the owners are worldly and refined people as well as being extremely professional. Relaxing atmosphere, perfect if you are looking for a peaceful break. Room was large and very clean.
Pros: Caroline and Rudolphe were as nice as good friends, very hospitable and especially the location and the spacious breakfast room are just charming with artbooks and more interesting stuff to break the daynwhen it's raining
Pros: A unique house - full of character and historical interest with a view of the chateau. Breakfast was simple but delicious and with great coffee. The owners were friendly and extremely welcoming. Ferrette is a beautiful village - the steep hills are not for the faint-hearted! We enjoyed a good meal at a local restaurant recommended by the owner.
Pros: castle close by
Pros: A lovely old building with lots of character.
Cons: Very difficult to find.
Set in the picturesque village of Oberlarg, this former 18th-century farmhouse, now a beautiful rustic hotel, offers a charming setting and modern comforts. Le Morimont features 18 renovated and well-appointed rooms including a family room. Individually decorated, each room features views of the garden and a private bathroom. Le Morimont boasts a privileged location near the forest, meadows, and 30 minutes from the Basel and La Largue golf courses.
Pros: What a nice surprise! We booked this hotel a bit out of no other options, as we needed to be in the region for a Saturday evening dinner and we were a large group. Seven of us, five bedrooms. The hotel is at the end of a small road, by a forest and very close to the Morimont Castle ruins. We were extremely charmed by the surroundings and by the hotel, which had comfortable rooms, carefully decorated bathrooms and overall a very cozy feeling. The owner is a lovely lady who really went above and beyond to help us during our stay. We expected this stay to be a short convenient stay close to where we had to go, but I would happily go back for a retreat weekend there! It's quiet, it's refreshing, and you have all this nature to enjoy. The breakfast is really good, from what I understand sourced from local farms mostly, and is vegetarian-friendly. Highly recommended.
Pros: A special place, great and friendly staff and a concept that goes beyond offering a place to sleep. Truly enchanting

Pros: We enjoyed the most amazing gourmet meal. Gerard is a magician in the kitchen! The wine too was some of the best we’ve ever tasted.
Cons: Nothing at all.
