The room was comfortable and clean. The free breakfast was better than most others I’ve had.
When checking in the front desk attendant was borderline rude, it was as if we were inconveniencing her by checking in. I had paid for the room online, and I told her that, but she also charged me again for the room. She didn’t say where the room was in the hotel, and didn’t tell us about any of the amenities of the hotel or when breakfast was or anything! The breakfast in the morning was delicious, and better selection than most, but they had closed it down before 10 am. I am not sure when the normal closing time was, but I’m guessing that 9:50 is not the normal closing time. I stayed the night of daylight savings, and a family had come down at 9:50 because they had forgotten to change their clocks, and the lady taking the breakfast down said, and I quote, “Oh, you forgot to change your clocks, that’s too bad,” as she locked the cooler and didn’t offer to grab them something before locking it. Over all the service at this location was very poor. The only good thing I have to say about the service is the lady I spoke to when I called about being billed twice. She was very pleasant and apologetic.
The room definitely had not been vacuumed (there was a baby carrot on the floor) and behind the nightstand was trash from.previous guests. The bathroom counter needed to be wiped down as well.
