Cons: Porter airlines mechanical failure caused 13 passengers to miss connection to DC

Cons: Flight delayed and oversold. Was told I might be bumped because mine was the lowest fare type. Wouldn’t fly Porter again if that is how they run their airline.

Pros: At the boarding desk staff were not giving satisfactory responses on delayed flight. Our flight was late by 90 minutes. No proper reply from person at boarding gate..

Cons: Delayed over an hour then cancelled last minute, rebooked on a flight the next day that didn't leave until noon, had to call into reservations to get on an earlier flight on another airline

Pros: That we eventually got a flight home.

Cons: Being stuck in Boston and Ottawa for 2 extra days and adding around $1200 on to our trip in hotels alone (I was travelling with 4 kids on a school trip and my wife). Additionally, we didn’t find out the flights were cancelled until we arrived at the airport. Apparently, they had been cancelled 2 hours before but there was no notification. Air Canada offered no help whatsoever and the guy at the “service” desk in Boston literally said there was nothing he could do to help. Not even find a new flight. Spent 90 minutes on the phone trying to re-book, plus re-booking hotel along the way.

Pros: Baggage handlers extremely fast

Cons: Flight delayed 3 hours, then a seats were very cramped and uncomfortable
