Pros:I was really disappointed when I first got to our hotel. My husband and I were visiting for a fun weekend away, but when we got there I wished I had picked a different hotel. It wasn't awful, but the rooms smelt funny, everything was cheaply made, and the carpets were extremely old. Our coffee maker was broken, and the hair dryer was as well. The location was AMAZING, and that's the only reason why this place has a good rating. Their website is for their sister hotel, which is beautiful and overall a much better hotel. So I thought that was misleading. I also looked at their sister hotel prices (its right next door) and they were cheaper than what we had paid for the crappier one. If you're looking for a place to sleep, this is fine. But if you want to enjoy a weekend away, find a different hotel. Oh, and good luck getting cell service in your room. And the WiFi is awful, too.
Cons:Smelt funny, horrible cell service, extremely slow WiFi, broken coffee maker in room, broken hairdryer in room, really outdated and dirty looking carpet. Not a single thing made me think, "That's cool!" or "Wow, this is nice." This isn't the place to go for a weekend away, it's best if you only need to sleep overnight and that's it.

Pros:The hotel had great decor and the room was very nice. They had great ameneties and the location was perfect. Close to everything! We enjoyed our stay very much. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast we've ever had traveling.
Cons:The restroom floor was a little dirty but to be fair I'm very picky and am very particular with restrooms. We did have a problem with check in. We arrived just after midnight and they said my credit card was declined or no good. They kept saying I was giving them the wrong number and I used a different card when I reserved the room. I know what card I used. My card was fine and they accepted it. Then we ended up getting the wrong room. Two double beds and not the king we reserved. I think they had the wrong reservation . When I showed them my reservation, they fixed everything right away. I was happy with the outcome.
Pros:The Ayres hotels are an excellent value for your money.
Cons:There is nothing NOT to like at this hotel.
