Pros: Excellent hosts, great location, good swimming pool, secure car parking. A little tricky to find but simply a function of one way streets.
Cons: Nothing really.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful villa
Cons: Nothing... to us it was ideal
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Spacious rooms. Cool pool on hot days.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Welcoming b&b with great hosts. Bedroom and on-suit beautiful and cosy including effective cooling system including ceiling fan(which were both needed in 36c heat). Great outdoor garden and swimming pool. Breakfast in the garden was presented with good selection of fruits, jams, meats, cheese and ham. Good secure parking on site. 5 minute walk to centre of Orange but nevertheless feels and is peaceful away from the traffic
Cons: Nil
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful villa in a quiet neighbourhood close to the city center. A big, comfortable room with a perfectly working AC (the best one on our whole trip & a real life-saver at more than 40 degrees). A lovely pool with a self-service bar, so you can enjoy a chilled glass of wine with your feet in the pool at midnight. In the morning, a perfect breakfast with everything you can wish for. But most of all the kindest, most helpful and fun hosts you could wish for! All in all a perfect stay, thanks so much!
Cons: Absolutely nothing to complain about
7.1 Good

Pros: What a nice place. Our room was actually an apartment. It is a restored house and the effort has been amazing. Wonderful couple run it and they did the restoration themselves. It is the essence of Provence.
Cons: Not much
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly and comfortable, great location to explore Chateauneuf Du Pape
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly & relaxed Omelette & ice cream (tho not at the same time) Very characterful / good location Comfy bed / large bathroom
Cons: Nothing
6.3 Good
Pros: the owner was very friendly and the room was very clean. It was also close to Orange and Chateauneuf du Pape, the cities of our interest.
Cons: The outside facilities were in bad conditions and did not reflect the offerings in the internet. I was very much looking for the pool to jump into but had to realize that it was not in operation (and it looked like that it wasn't in operation for a while). The same was true for the outside seating, it wasn't inviting. This was a big disappointment for me. If I had known I would have booked a different place.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Such a great place and merci beaucoup to Pascale and Jérôme for their outstanding hospitality! See you next year!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: cleanliness of the room, elegant design, garden and facilities, excellent food and nice wines. In the minibar there was an excellent blonde beer from a little Provençal craft brewery - convincing beer.
Cons: Nothing - perfect stay.
7.9 Good
Pros: Breakfast was excellent. The swimming pool was very nice, as was the the suite. The location and grounds were stunning. We loved our suite. Dean and Emily were very attentive.
Cons: Eating or drinking anything was a challenge as the staff was not up and ready for the service. Not enough staff for the level of cooking. We would have eaten there more than once in the evening had we felt the service could have handled the load. We noticed many persons who were more than disappointed. Nobody asked what we'd like to drink to begin with. Water was not brought. Food was brought before drinks were, etc. etc. The management and owners need to be aware that the price and value on what one pays doesn't add up unless the service is perfect. The service was totally inadequate. We understand that there were many people sick and lots of apprentices. We stayed 3 nights. After the first complaint you'd expect that Mgmt. would step in.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful garden, nice restaurant!
Cons: A bit difficult to carry the luggage to upstairs...
7.5 Good
Pros: Room 16 was incredible. Meal in restaurant very nice.
Cons: Breakfast was pricey and you had to go and get the tea and coffee yourself.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The room was amazingly comfortable. Dinner was very good, as was breakfast. It’s a beautiful location.
Cons: There weren’t enough loungers by the pool for all the guests. Also, service in the restaurant was a little slow.
7.5 Good
Pros: Beautiful property, well-maintained. Rooms are lovely and the breakfast was very nice.
Cons: We booked the property specifically to use the pool, but were told it was already closed when we arrived (still had at least 2 more hours of light to go). And that it would not reopen until 10am, when we had to leave. Apparently pools in France need 14 hours of sleep. Also, despite advertisements for WIFI, there is no wifi in the rooms not in the main house. Staff were unhelpful to find a solution. For these prices, and a newly built property - it's just unacceptable, Also was irritated to see that the room price was 100 euros less on booking.com the day we arrived than we paid when we booked months ago.
4.2 Okay
Pros: Hotel is a small Château and has a beautiful garden. An authentic place.
Cons: - There were not enough sunbeds for hotel custormers - No room service and not food at all after 2pm till dinner. (I undertsand that it is more of a restaurant, but this way they Shouldn’t be selling hotel rooms) - Hotel’s restaurant got me food poisoning and I am still getting treatment (it has been 2 days after that dinner) and got a serious type of bacteria because of the dinner. - There were no soaps in the room however when I have asked some from the reception, they insisted that there are soaps in the room. Was very funny. Overall, the experince was like a joke. I would recomend trying another hotel than this one.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Quiet, clean and beautiful
Cons: Nothing, was lovely
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Dinner was fantastic. Room was great.

Pros: Olivier and Guy were wonderful hosts, extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful. We arrived at the end of the last day of our cycling holiday. Our room was very comfortable. Hotel is in a perfect location for sightseeing, eating, drinking and shopping. The owners kept our bikes safe throughout our stay and the whole of the next day after we had booked out, so we could have a 'bike-free' walkabout in Orange, before our evening 'Bike Bus pickup'. Breakfast was fantastic, a lovely selection of drinks, jams, fresh bread and cakes. I would definitely stay there again. Thank you both for a great stay.

Pros: Lovely small hotel/restaurant in pleasant landscaped grounds, with small pool, surrounded by vineyards and fields. Great stopover if you're driving north/south on the A7. Welcoming, helpful staff. Dog-friendly. The restaurant is delightful and popular with locals and allthough there weren't any vegetarian/vegan main-course options on the menu, they did come up with something for us when we asked.

Pros: The hotel is situated nicely at a small square in Orange very close to the ancient theatre. The people are very friendly and the breakfast is good with plenty things to choose from. The 3 bed room was as expected from photos and very clean.

6.3 Good
Cons: We had a reservation, and realized that we will not be able to make it before 9 pm to check in. So, I called. The lady who answered the phone was adamant that she could not stayed beyond 9 pm. After insisting, she told us that she will wait not later than 9:30 pm. When we called back later twice, at 9:15 pm and 9:30 PM, she was gone. We ended up staying at another hotel. She could have offered to leave the key at a nearby cafe of something. Very rude.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: L'herbier is located in the centre of Orange within 200 yards of the central square with restaurants, bars and shops and the wonderful Roman amphitheatre and yet the location is quiet and tranquil. The Parton is extremely friendly and welcoming and she goes out of her way to make your stay enjoyable. The rooms and public areas of the hotel are spotless and very tastefully furnished. Our room was large with comfortable beds with air conditioning and electric shutters. The petit dejeuner was excellent and served either on the terrace or in the dining room. Although the car park is some 500 yards away one is able to stop temporarily outside the hotel to drop off luggage and the Patron provides a parking permit for an underground car park for 5 Euros a day. I would thoroughly recommend a stay at L'herbier in Orange.

7.1 Good
Pros: Convenient location right off the motorway. Room is comfortable. There are quite a few power sockets around the beds. Very convenient.
Cons: Part of the staff were not properly trained. The receptionists were all fine and professional, indeed very pleasant and polite. But a cleaning lady knocked at our door at 11:17am, wanting to come in and clean the room. After we explained to her that we were going to check out at noon (check out time is until 12pm) and were still packing, she still stood there, frowning and dissatisfied as she didn't want to wait. After we told her that we would try to leave in 30 minutes, she left reluctantly. This was unacceptable!!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were really helpful as we don’t speak much french

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is about 1.5 km to the old city center. Very easy access to the city and the express way.
7.5 Good
Cons: No lift to second floor and we were travelling with baby chair The dinner quite poor.
7.1 Good
Pros: It is very close to the highway and easy to find, so if you are on your way it is a good place to stay. The staff was very nice. There was plenty of parking and the gate closes during the night. Breakfast was ok. We have been to other Ibis hotels where they had more offer though, no bacon, eggs or sausages, just cold meat like ham or salami, two kinds of cheese, and boiled eggs. Pastry was very good and they had yoghurts, nuts, cereals... So overall very good breakfast but I guess we were expecting more. Just make sure breakfast is included in price because it is very expensive to buy it on top. Bed was very comfy. Room was clean.
Cons: One towel was marked, seemed clean just that it had some stains it seems they could not remove.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The bathroom was spacious, well-equipped and safe for walkers and wheelchairs. Friendly, helpful staff!!!
Cons: The bed was very small for 2 adults. We requested a room with a walk-in shower for the physically challenged. There are none with 2 beds. Hand towels would be a plus! They were not provided.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Great location! Staff are brilliant and the hotel overall is very clean and tidy.
2.9 Mediocre
Pros: The WiFi worked
Cons: Worst Ibis hotel we have ever stayed in. Tiny room. No lift. No assistance at reception. No taxi. The Ibis Budget hotel was even closer to town though I can’t imagine how low budget it would be if our location wasn’t.

5.4 Okay

Cons: This property was dirty. The carpets especially.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Nice clean hotel in good location. Would recommend.
Cons: Could not guarantee secure parking for the bike on booking and charged 7 Euros to park bike in a corner under the fire stair.
5.3 Okay
Pros: First off, the staff at this hotel were excellent. Extremely friendly and helpful, couldn't ask for better. Some reviewers have complained about the 7 euro price for breakfast, but given the prices in Provence we found it reasonable. Fresh croissants and cheeses, cereal, hard boiled eggs coffee and juice were included. Nothing exotic, but given that a coffee typically sets you back 3 euros it was reasonable and everything was fresh. The hotel is located within walking distance of the old theatre, and free parking was easy enough to find beside the hotel (a few garage spots are available at a price if reserved).
Cons: The hotel itself is older, and while some modernizing is apparent (bathrooms) it is still an older building and soundproofing isn't great. The pool and area were quite small. Make sure you ask for additional pillows before the front desk closes if you have a double room and don't want to share a single long pillow. While within walking distance of the city centre, it wasn't the most pleasant walk at night.
6.3 Good
Pros: Staff were very kindly and friendly. The only problem is that they don't have an elevator
Cons: there is not elevator
7.3 Good
