Pros: Very clean. It was convenient for where I needed to stop to get sleep before continuing my trip back home
Cons: Room not carpeted. Very small. Pillows felt half full too soft. Could hear people in hallway talking on their phones at midnight and later. Could hear people walking around the unit above.

Pros: They accommodated me a little early which I thought was really nice. But they were in such a hurry to get the room ready they never gave me a blanket. Not the end of the world it was the middle of summer I didn't really need a blanket.
Cons: The only things I didn't like about the hotel or things that the hotel really can't do anything about. It's an older Hotel so it's a little run-down and the parking lot is full of potholes but it was a place to sleep and everything worked I can't complain

9.0 Excellent
Pros: I loved the location and it was close to restaurants and the mall.
8.2 Excellent
Pros: Checked into a double room with queen size beds. Nice appearance, hardwood floors, beds were mostly comfortable (I have had better, have had much much worse), and a large window to look out of though nothing to look at. The whole place looks newly renovated and up to date, quick and easy check in and out and staff was friendly. I was commuting each day to downtown Chicago, which was a bit out of the way but nothing terrible... 40 minutes with light traffic.
Cons: The coffee was not very good in the lobby, and none in the room. There were no lotions or shampoos in the bathroom, only bar soap. Location was a little seedy, but nothing awful, we did not notice any suspicious activity.

8.0 Excellent
Pros: It's the perfect place for an overnight flop when you arrive late and depart early the next morning from O'Hare Airport. The beds are super comfortable, the hotel room is standard but roomy, nice bathroom, free wifi, and coffee and best of all, it's a short walk to/from the terminals.
Cons: It was hard to regulate the temperature in the room. Leaving the window open was too loud and turning on the air con/fan was intermittent.

5.0 Okay
Pros: Stayed here many times. Staff was always pleasant and professional. Rooms were great. Bar food was great.
Cons: I was in a rotunda room. Have stayed in them many times. This time the room leaked cold air in. The heater could not compensate for this. It was either way too hot or way too cold. I talked to desk clerks a couple times to no avail. I left without staying the second night I booked as it was miserable in the room. Now for the rest of the story. I am a retired Air Force Lt Colonel and a retired International Airline Captain. I was stunned to be treated with disinterest this time. My guess is because I don't have short hair and a clean shaven face now.

Overview Reviews
Located in Rosemont (O'Hare), Edward Hotel Chicago is within a 5-minute drive of Allstate Arena and Rivers Casino. Featured amenities include a business center, dry cleaning/laundry services, and a 24-hour front desk. A roundtrip airport shuttle is complimentary at scheduled times.
4.5 Okay
Pros: Bed bugs. And I told them and they never called me back. We couldn't sleep from itching
8.0 Excellent
Pros: The bed was really comfortable, and the amenities in the room are perfect for an overnight stay for a weary traveler just coming in to O'Hare from a long trip.
Cons: It might be helpful to have more than one shuttle van to go to and from the airport. The 7:30AM shuttle bus filled up before the 7:30AM departure time, so I had to wait wait for the 8:00AM van, which was a little bit late, and I didn't end up leaving the hotel until 8:15AM, which is the time I was supposed to catch a bus to go on for further travel. Perhaps at peak times if there were more than one van or some sort of sign up the evening before to get a sense of how many people need to use the shuttle, it would allow guests to take the shuttle they need to arrive (as close as possible) to the connections they need at O'Hare.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Bedroom and bed comfortable
Cons: The waiting time for transfer was too long 28 minutes
9.4 Excellent
Pros: I stayed here during a conference that was being held at the Westin O'Hare about 1.5 miles away. It was clean, comfortable, and most of all, affordable - even with Ubering to and from the conference every day, I saved a good 30% off of what I might have paid had I stayed at the Westin. Staff were great, the room was nice enough, and I really enjoyed the gym and pool. Lots of good delivery options via UberEats and other local restaurants, so I didn't go hungry. There's also a Target about a 10 minute walk away, which is basically heaven for me. I'll be staying here every time I head to Chicago, assuming the price stays this low!
Cons: The bed wasn't super comfortable, but they made up for it with lots of varieties of pillows. Breakfast was a bit sparse - think super thin microwaved bacon and boxes of cereal - but for $10 I wouldn't expect much else.

Pros: It has an old Chicago cool feel. Unexpectedly . Close to decent food and casino. Clean. Staff is well trained and friendly.
Cons: I didn’t notice the hotel shops on checkin so I bought 3.00 waters from the vending machine s all week and they were half price at the store. My fault. It was my sons 21st birthday so rehydration was paramount . It got exspensive. Wow, still hung over. Thanks Chicago!

8.0 Excellent
Cons: everything was closed for Covid-19
5.0 Okay
Pros: Great location close to the airport
Cons: The room was very warm the Ac didn’t work and hence terribly unpleasant. The restaurant was closed and shuttle didn’t work due to the covid lockdown and so a taxi cost me money.
7.0 Good
Pros: They were unable to serve their normal complimentary breakfast due to COVID19, but the Grab-n-Go offerings were sufficient. Room changed on request.
Cons: It is really close to the airport with planes constantly flying directly overhead. If you can sleep through the noise, not a problem. I'm a light sleeper, so I asked to be moved to a different room to minimize that distraction, and the staff happily accomodated me.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: It was clean, comfortable, and quiet. Although they couldn’t have their restaurants open due to covid-19 they still served grab n go breakfast which was decent.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The quality of the rooms and the way they hotel staff treated me
Cons: The first time I stayed there no one came to clean the room for days
7.0 Good

Cons: The web site said 24 shuttle. I was not told it was not running until after free cancellation ended.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Front desk Staff members were very friendly.
Cons: TV wasn’t working, front desk said nothing the hotel could do. Wasn’t aware there wasn’t a tub/shower combo in room - only shower. Was told only after I arrived for check in that there was a $75 pet fee. The HVAC system was incredibly loud and rattled.

5.0 Okay
Pros: I loved how quiet the hotel was during our stay. It was also very close to pretty much everything that we needed.
Cons: The staff at the front desk was very nice. However, the first night there my fiancé and I attempted to eat dinner at the hotel and were completely ignored after asking where to sit! No eye contact or acknowledgement...we had to go elsewhere to eat!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was incredibly friendly, polite, professional and accommodating. The room was very clean and really nice, loved the decor of the whole hotel. The food was very good.

Pros: Liked several things. Best of all was Shirley, the van driver who picked us up at the airport. We were coming in late. I was waiting at the gate at airport in Boston to catch my flight to Chicago and my phone rang. It was Shirley wondering when we would arrive. We told her and she was there waiting for us when we got to the shuttle pick-up site. Went to the bar for a drink after check-in. Bartender was very friendly. Room was nice and breakfast was good.

Pros: Surprisingly updated for a chain hotel/motel. Still, NOT a 4 star range, more of a 3 at best. Fairly updated but, still not up to date.
Cons: No food offerings near by that's affordable, aside from Mcd's
3.0 Mediocre
Pros: Location
Cons: The hotel extremely disappointing. I booked this hotel because it was listed as having an airport shuttle. I emailed them to arrange a pickup twice before I arrived in Chicago with no response. When I arrived in Chicago I called to inquire about the shuttle. The front door clerk simply said “the airport shuttle is not running “ then hung up the phone. She offered no apologies or explanations. My whole reason for booking this hotel is because they offered an airport shuttle. When I finally arrived at the hotel, I was struggling with my 4 large suitcases to get in the lobby. The front desk worker (who I assume is the same lady who answered the phone ) did not offer to help me nor did she greet me. She was not friendly and she did not bother to stand and welcome me. Then, the room smelled like smoke and Old Spice. The TV remote has some sort of gum stuck to it , Yuck. The wall next to the toilet looked as if someone had rubbed boogers across it. All in all, I was not happy with my stay here.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: No eggs, nothing fancy!
Cons: Nothing could be better. This time is no good at all!
9.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff respected my privacy and accommodated me with everything I asked

Cons: Checked in and advised staff I may have had Covid 19. After staying two nights, I received a call from the manager asking me to leave the hotel. And then they attempted to charge me for the day they asked me to leave. At this time, the staff should treat all guests as if they may have been exposed to Covid-19 because many are asymptotic; but don’t bother letting them now there’s a chance you have been exposed or you will be asked to leave.
