Pros: we chose this hotel to overnight on our way back to the north of spain because it was dog friendly. we had a lovely room with a large king size bed and a nice bathroom with a bath tub. breakfast was very good, the usual cold meats and fruit and cereals, and you could request a fry up if required. there was not a lot of life around on thursday 2nd of january, most bars were closed but there was a very good pizza place opposite the hotel. we payed to park in the hotel grounds which was secure but there was plenty of street parking outside.

Pros: Beautiful property. Fantastic rooms. Lovely outdoor patio/pool : a great spot for a glass of cava or appetizers. Central location. Friendly host.
Cons: All was great.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was very accommodating and met our request for an earlier breakfast. Enjoyed the unique decor of the house. Delicious fresh squeezed orange juice and melon at breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Magnificent place, full of charm with a very attentionate staff
9.6 Excellent
Pros: First, the gentlemen who run the place were such nice hosts and immediately made us feel at home. The house is gorgeous and filled with antiques so you feel like it is a real heritage site without feeling stuffy. I honestly could live there. We loved that they did not modernize the elements such as the front door latch and I loved having a chandelier in the bathroom! A huge bonus is that the Easter procession went directly beneath our window in the morning. We had an excellent view from our balcony!
Cons: Parking was a bit difficult as was access to the hotel by car. This, however, was purely due to the Easter celebrations and would not be a problem other times. They were kind enough to offer private parking, but we declined.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Jackson made us feel so welcome and helped us with every question we had. His fluency in English was great.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: A beautiful antique filled house with large open rooms. Excellent comfortable bed and in an excellent location. The hosts could not have been more helpful. Thank you
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It is rare to find a hotel that is a family home and where you are welcomed like a member of the family. We arrived as the COVID19 virus hit Spain and yet were allowed to stay on for an extra night by the fabulous couple who own and run this marvellous house. Lovely breakfast provided.
Cons: Parking isn't available outside the hotel as on a tiny street but you can pay to park in a local underground carpark. We didn't need to as we found street parking by the Convent 6 mins walk away and whole town was empty of tourists anyway.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I have travelled extensively around the world, generally avoiding corporate, chain hotels & picking small ones which emphasise the character of the area I’m staying in. Casa San José is one of....if not THE nicest I have encountered! It is like staying in a mini Palacio/museum with beautiful rooms & artefacts at every turn. The owner was incredibly welcoming & helpful & the whole place just oozes charm. As a plus too, the garden & pool area is immaculate & such a tranquil spot to relax after a day sightseeing. I would wholeheartedly recommend!
Cons: Nothing! All was perfecto,
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The property is charming and the hosts go out of their way to make your stay memorable. The house is unique, very well appointed with antiques at every turn. My favorites are the patio and the garden both are peaceful and quiet. We happen to be there during Feria it was not as they put it “Sevilla’s Feria de abril” but it still had the lights, casetas, beautifully dressed people, food, wine and music. What more could anyone want. Jackson told us to follow the music we did and had a superb experience.
Cons: Better directions from Our GPS
