Continuous construction and the elevator didn't work. So lucky me got to climb 5 flights of stairs for a couple days. Not overly impressed for central Paris.
Needs a remodel
Place was clean and staff was nice
Carpet and furniture looks like it hasn't been changed in 30 years
Great place for your money
Break fast not included and the workers there acted like if we were going to steal the food
Lots of noise from other rooms. Also, a very small elevator which barely fits a suitcase. When I arrived, the elevator was detained for over five minutes by someone from the staff, and the receptionist barely helped.
The hotel staff were so friendly and polite.
Comfortable bed & pillows
Although it was a non-smoking room, it smelled of stale tobacco smoke.
its covenient location in Paris
Location down the road from the Champs-Élysées. Quiet road and some excellent restaurants nearby. Nearby to excellent Paris Metro – Wagram.
There is insufficient staff at this hotel. It would seem that the only person available over the weekend is the Receptionist. All 3 different Receptionists were extremely helpful but could only do so much. The toilet seat which fell-off on our arrival into the room was not repaired throughout our stay – as it was the weekend; and it would seem that no one else other than the Receptionist works over the weekend. Certainly not the technical support people who could not be contacted to find out why I could not access the Internet. This was cured eventually by a brave Receptionist who continued to give me new user names until it worked. There was no wireless internet working in my room. I had to take the laptop out of the room to work by the lift. The management of this hotel need to seriously reconsider their commitment to providing service over the weekend period. The other infuriating element of my stay in Paris was the Taxis. They are a law unto themselves. They decide whether they want to take you where you want to go. I eventually stopped 3 taxis one night to be refused a ride as they considered my destination ‘too close’. When you have problems walking as I do (one damaged hip and both kneecaps), 2KM is a long way to walk. The other event concerning taxis involved the Hotel. I was told upon my arrival that if I wanted a taxi to ask the Receptionist. I did so for 20:30 one evening. When the taxi arrived I opened the door for my Wife to find that the meter showed 10.20 Euros. I asked the driver why, he said that as soon as the Receptionist call them they put on their meters – wherever they are. I said I would not pay this amount. The driver became annoyed and went inside to speak with the Receptionist. The taxi driver left. It took us 20 minutes to find another taxi and we arrived late at our dinner engagement – total cost of taxi to dinner engagement, 5.15 Euros.
The staff was amazing .. these people did everything to make us comfortable
Of course rooms are small but to be expected, we had to change from the 8th floor tiny room to a decent room size ...
I had a problem with construction noise from the building next on the second day of our stay, but staff were extremely helpful and moved us to a sister hotel a couple of streets away at no extra cost. Bed clothes were a little bit scruffy.
very helpful front desk personnel, always willing to assist you with hotel or city issues. Location of the hotel was very good
very easy access to metro, but not far from the city center either, nice and spacious room
the breakfast was not included
the cleanliness and the room and building design
It was a very pleasant experience.
