Location, staff friendliness and presentation was very good. Take into account that this is a refurbished Hotel, therefore it is a renovation of image but not space. Rooms are confy but not spacious. Perfect for a weekend couples but not for families. Overall 8.0
May need to implement breakfast. Not many choices food.
Very nice hotel, clean and with a great breakfast that you can also have in the room for no additional price!
The elevator was out of service the last day, which was not ideal with all the luggage but c'est la vie
Great location. Nice hotel overall. Good designed and clean rooms , but not overly modern. I would chose it again during a busy season when i dont have much availability or choice. Its in an area where lots of similar hotels exist, some much more modern with same price range.
Receptionist mentioned that all food in room cost money, even on bed, which i thought was not very tactful and something i never asked. Just saying , “ we have a full minibar” would have been sufficient. I understood why he mentioned this when i entered the room and saw chocolates, chips, drinks etc decorated/spread all over the room, on bed, pillows, desk, on tables on shelves. etc. Looked very tacky, and misleading. Food should be centralized in/around minibar, not used for decoration. Especially leaving minibar items on bed , in similar way that other hotels leave small complimentary chocolates, is not good practice.
We loved the location because it was tucked onto a quiet street, but easily accessible to main tourist areas by uber or République station. The room was small, but excellently appointed with every modern convenience. Downstairs, the “dining area mornings/private bar evenings” was a commodious place to eat breakfast or enjoy a drink after returning from dinner. Also, our room had nice big windows overlooking the street which provided nice natural light.
It would have been nice to have a little more closet space.
Really nice staff.
There are cities that are impressive to visit, and then there is Paris. Whether traveling to the City of Lights for business or pleasure, it is important to experience the very best that this city offers its visitors. The hotel experience in Paris is unlike any other in the world. Guests at Parisian hotels have high expectations because French hospitality is among the best in the world. When staying at a Parisian hotel, it is important to serve guests by making sure even the most lofty expectations are exceeded. Having beautiful décor is just expected as well, and access to the city’s great sites is also important. Fortunately, the Hotel Gabriel Paris does everything that guests need for a great stay.
When it comes to a Parisian hotel, décor is critical. The Hotel Gabriel Paris has a beautiful modern motif that is decidedly French. When arriving in the rooms, the floor-to-ceiling windows give you a great view onto the city. One of the best parts of the hotel is the breakfast in the morning. A typical French breakfast is provided for the guests and it is quite impressive and delicious. The rooftop area is a great place to spend an afternoon as well while having a drink. Walking from the hotel gets you to the great sites in the city in just a few minutes.
There are plenty of great places in Paris to stay, however, guests will be in good hands when they spend their stay at the Hotel Gabriel Paris.
