Cons: I can’t think of anything.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The property was modern, clean and maintained well. The aroma on arrival was a warm vanilla scent that smelt amazing.
Cons: The blinds in the bedroom make a lot of noise if you have your window open and it’s windy. Big distraction if your trying to sleep, maybe invest in securing the blinds with a clip or change them. Pillows were thing and not very firm, maybe have a choice if available. The temperature of the room was very warm, this is just preference in which others may like.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The accommodation was first class, the hosts were extremely pleasant, knowledgeable, professional and helpful in every way possible. We couldn't have wished for a better combination.

Pros: Beds very comfortable, facilities in room excellent, breakfast very good.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Paddock was an idyllic place to stay, set in rolling farmland. The owner was friendly and welcoming and really went "the extra mile" to make our stay perfect. There were lots of animals around who were family pets, wonderful to have sheep come up to your window! Very clean and comfortable with everything we needed and much more. Took advantage of the guest lounge where we were able to use maps and books to plan our next day out. Breakfast delicious, two of us are vegan and the owner had gone out of her way to find non-dairy cheese, spread, milk and yoghurt. We will be back, and have recommended to friends. Thank you so much for such a lovely stay!
Cons: Nothing, our stay was perfect!
10.0 Excellent

9.2 Excellent
Pros: Amazing place to stay with the most helpful and attentive members of staff. All the ladies were fantastic. The castle is a very different experience and I felt I had entered the world of grand designs Loved it and now recommending to all my friends
Cons: Only downsides if you could call them downsides were the stairs which were plenty and quite steep. But as I've read in other reviews it is a castle so this is only to be expected To find nice restaurants you do need to drive, as the mini bus is restricted to certain times and the sister hotel. However the stairs made me feel fit, and we did find some lovely places to eat in some very pretty villages close by.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Bed was best ever slept in. Room temperature good. Great coffee maker.
Cons: Bill was inaccurate .. charged for alcohol we didn’t have .. bill amended when the error was brought to staff’s attention.
10.0 Excellent

Cons: Honestly, nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We will be returning at some point.
Cons: Excellent accommodation with a fabulous breakfast
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel with a lot of attention to detail. Cozy public area with honesty bar, ideal for reading or watching the sunset overlooking the coast. Comfortable beds, very friendly staff, delicious breakfast options, parking on site. We made a reservation for dinner in their partner restaurant (about 15-20 mins drive away), the food and the presentation were lovely.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was first class and very friendly and helpful staff. Dinner by mini bus worked well.
Cons: Should explain the fan in the room and windows so room could be cooled easily as hot at night.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful castle
Cons: Nothing everything was splendid
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff are first class and make the stay a Pleasure.
Cons: Some of the rooms are quite dark which is understandable, as it is a castle and windows are small by design, that said a couple of well placed mirrors would bounce the natural light in to the rooms and add something a little extra.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Small quiet & beautiful interior & views! The staff were very helpful
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything. Especially the staff as they’re very friendly and helpful
Cons: Not to not like

Pros: Beautiful hotel in a lovely setting easily accessible to the town. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful - genuinely couldn’t do enough for us. Really lovely. Perfect place.
Cons: The room was perhaps a little too dark though it was very lovely.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff at the hotel were exceptional, helpful and welcoming. The hotel itself is spotless and beautifully decorated. We will certainly return.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, friendly and knowlegable staff and excellent accomodation.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: My friends and I were greeted with warmth and were given a lovely tour of the property to settle us in. I was greeted with a lovely birthday card and gift when i checked into the room. Breakfast was delicious and the location ideal for a birthday getaway.
Cons: There was nothing not to like.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was first class and the hotel was only a short walk from the centre of town (city). Very relaxing atmosphere and attentive staff. Comprehensively equipped room with top tech facilities.
Cons: Curiously the appointed rooms TV was mounted on the side wall making viewing awkward.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: very good value and quality food Tea needs at least two tea bags per pot.
Cons: The fine dining was not the experience it was promised, it was too expensive for the quality, It gave the impression it was done to generate as much revenue as possible.
7.9 Good
Pros: Quality of everything. Enjoyed dinner. Beautiful ingrediants and presentations. Good wine choices. Staff especially bar man. Warm bedroom on arrival.
Cons: No view to sea from public rooms. No outside terrace facing sea.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and even showed us around the room and facilities on check in. The room was superb with a fantastic view over the coast. I only wish I could have stayed there for another night or two.
Cons: The food in the the restaurant was delicious however the portion sizes were a little small and I’d recommend having the 3 courses.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The welcome we received was excellent and could not have been more helpful. As we left we were asked 'What can we do to improve ?' Which is a question not many places are brave enough to ask, so well done. The overall experience was very pleasant and the food was delicious. Smiling faces everywhere from a happy and efficient staff. We were given a lift to St Justinians by the Hotel Manager which was above and beyond the call of duty and much appreciated.
Cons: Not much really. There didn't seem to be any way to regulate the temperature in the room and due to the wooden blinds we couldn't get a breeze going. The hotel is immaculate but the art may be a little overwhelming to some guests. A bit of feng shui advice might be an idea as the hall and the restaurant seating made the space a little too corridor-like. We maybe could have got a better rate for the room over the hotel website, so we will know better next time.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff, wonderful local food, high comfort rooms, welcome extra touches. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

C$ 157+
Overview Reviews
When you stay at Boulston Manor in Haverfordwest, you'll be 5 minutes by car from The Creative Cafe Haverfordwest. Free self parking is available onsite.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The location while remote is also lovely. We managed an interesting walk along part of the estuary to see the ruined church and old manor house. The room we were in, Arc de Triomphe, was very comfortable and very much in the classic country house style. Bed was very comfortable indeed. Our host provided fresh milk and fresh oat milk for tea-making. There was a large lounge we could use with views over the Cleddau. Breakfast was excellent. Hosts made it a very relaxing short break - despite the aggravation we had dealing with the breakdown cover arrangements...
Cons: The hotel is quite remote and is simply b&b, so no possibility of an evening meal or a drink in the evening. Our car broke down just as we arrived, so the remoteness really was a problem then, but our hosts were lovely and even drove us into haverfordwest to a decent pub there so we could have something to eat
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The quietness & tranquility beautiful part of the country
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Jules, the owner could not have done more to make our visit better, she is the perfect hostess. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Cons: Nothing really, apart from a slightly wobbly toilet seat.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Friendly owners, beautiful location, delicious breakfast.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The manor is beautiful, easy to get to but it feels very rural. Our room was lovely and the hosts were so friendly and kind. We loved our stay, the breakfast was excellent and faultless and the grounds of the manor are well worth a wander!
Cons: Nothing, just wish we'd stayed longer
9.6 Excellent
Pros: It was glorious, breathtaking and homely! The couple who own the property also live there and are so so welcoming. The man showed us in and was very warm and friendly, giving us suggestions for places to eat and sharing a bit of the history of the house. The room was magnificent. We had the room with the balcony which looked out over the rolling land down to the river and derelict historic church. There is a bench on the balcony and after I had a lovely Bubble bath in the huge jacuzzi bath, I sat on the balcony in a snuggly bath robe (provided) and watched the bats flit around and listened to the absolutely unbroken silence with a glass of wine. It was soul cleansing. I would like to visit again when we don’t have to rush about in the morning and get off to a wedding. I would like to visit on my own as a sort of retreat style break. The breakfast, which is made to order, was a delicious full English, with coffee, tea, toast, orange juice and was really filling. I needed to iron my dress for the wedding we were attending and the gentleman kindly brought up an iron and board. I didn’t want to leave and dream of living in such a marvellous house. It was in the deep countryside and was easy to get to down a few country lanes but that, to me, made it feel even more homely as I’ve always lived rurally.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location - so quiet and picturesque. Hosts are fantastic. Lovely room with a beautiful view. Breakfast very tasty.
Cons: Nothing - wished we had stayed longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous country house. Extremely friendly but non invasive host. Lovely breakfast in a splendid room. Taste of baronial grandeur in chic setting. Loved the rural rumble strips!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely quiet location and good sized bedroom and bathroom
Cons: A long way of the beaten track and part of the road leading up to the property of poor quality.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The manor house itself was absolutely stunning. The drive up to it was wonderful with a beautiful forest lane with the river to one side. The staff were the friendliest people Ive met, we were made to feel so welcome. The room was like something out of a dream, with a brick fireplace, super comfy bed and ensuite with a freestanding bath and rain shower. The house was really quiet, and so were the surroundings, no sounds of any form of traffic, best nights sleep ive had in a while. For breakfast we got to choose what we would like, i was so happy to see a veg option. It was delicious.

Cons: The TV had no signal. DVD. WiFi was great. It's usual for me to watch movies on my Kindle while I'm knitting
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful house with an elegant dining room and lovely views. The bedroom was tastefully decorated and the beds are extremely comfortable with crisp, good quality bedding. Good choice of breakfasts, decent quality, the bread and coffee could be better but we were all very satisfied. Friendly hosts. We had an excellent meal in the Dial inn, in the next village Lamphey. It was a short stop before taking the Ferry to Ireland but we managed to find time to take the walk from Stackpole beach to Barafundle bay which is nearby and it was really worth the visit. The hosts have prepared a really helpful list of the beaches in the welcome information which we really appreciated!

Pros: My partner and I were after a quiet, secluded weekend away and North Down Farm is exactly that. The house is beautiful, the breakfast was good and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was immaculate, and the welsh cakes replenished daily were a lovely touch. The location is beautiful, although I'd imagine not ideal if travelling without a car, however that can be said for a lot of Pembrokeshire. I'd highly recommend this B&B and we'd definitely stay again if we were back over that way.

Cons: Nothing all perfect

Pros: The hotel has amazing gardens and sea views. The bed was very comfortable and all the staff we came across gave us an excellent level of service.
Cons: The decor of the hotel is a bit jaded and stuck in the 80s. Not exactly a problem but it detracts a bit from the overall "wow" feeling
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The view from our room was outstanding. the comfort of the room and in suite bathroom was first class. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly. The dining room was first class, white tablecloths and the food was outstanding. Dinners were on the pricier side, but were worth it considering the presentation and the service. This historic mid-19th Century Inn has much history, spacious grounds and direct proximity to the Pembrokeshire Coastal Pathway.
Cons: No complaints.

Pros: Brilliant location for exploring St Davids. The staff were very polite and helpful.
Cons: The double bed in the family room we booked was very firm, so I personally found this very uncomfortable. The single beds for my children though were very comfortable.

Pros: The property is awesome. Delicious cuisine. The staff very nice. The lady at the reception was incredibly helpful and even offered the solution for our Skomer island trip for which we needed bedding but hadn't brought any with us. So they rent us theirs. Hope to see you again for longer stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very friendly and accommodating to my son. My 6 year old loved the experience
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The staff were all friendly and helpful, making every effort to make our stay enjoyable. The breakfast was good, plenty of choice of cereal, fruit, croissants, yoghurt, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and a good selection of hot items individually cooked to order. The dining room was pleasant with views over the garden to the sea. Dinner was well cooked with generous portions. The swimming pool was a little utilitarian but perfectly serviceable with good changing facilities. Although not used by our party, there was also croquet and a tennis court.
Cons: The en suite in our room consisted of a fairly small toilet and shower with the washbasin in the main part of the bedroom. We found this arrangement serviceable but it may not be to everyone's taste in a hotel of this quality and price-range.There was a bathroom (i.e. bath only) adjacent to our room, we were not clear whether this was for our use, shared or for the occupants of another room. Although, as stated above, the staff were very welcoming the hotel did not seem oriented towards smaller children.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The breakfast is good and tasty. Also the location is great. I can go hiking and swimming in the sea and swimming pool. A lot of activities you can take there and much fun :)
Cons: None.

Pros: Beautiful setting. So peaceful and relaxing. Lovely room, lovely staff....will definitely return!
5.8 Okay
Pros: The peacefulness
4.6 Okay
Pros: The grounds are beautiful.
Cons: Really bad customer service. A member of staff actually stuck her fingers up behind a customer's back and over all bad attitude throughout our stay. Some issues with our room as well. When we complained we received denial and excuses.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff were very good and friendly, food in the restaurant was amazing. Beautiful location and comfortable rooms
Cons: Shower was hard to get correct temperature - reported to reception so hopefully will get sorted
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Lovely size room, very clean. Brilliant staff-they were all very happy to help. Lovely breakfast and great surroundings
Cons: My room was really lovely. Only downside was because my bed met in the middle it felt like it was coming apart during night and therefore a little uncomfortable. I loved the separate bathroom and toilet and the room was so well laid out but it would be really useful to be able to use a mirror when drying hair. I took the small mirror (on a stand) into the bedroom and used it next to the closest power point.
7.9 Good
Pros: Comfortable room and bed, great outdoor spaces including walks and cycling nearby.
Cons: Restaurant dinner service poor, limited vegetarian options, and room cold. Breakfast order for porridge forgotten by waiter. Service better on second day.
6.3 Good
Pros: Dinner in the restaurant was very nice. Young team of staff were outstanding and couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast excellent too with lots of variety. The setting of the hotel is beautiful. Lovely walks in the grounds and views to die for.
Cons: We were upgraded to a better room on arrival. Just as well as I did wonder what the lesser grade rooms were like. Lovely view of estuary. However, room very basic. Décor very tired and basic, no luxury touches which I would have expected for £155 per night. Terrible prints on the walls in the room, saggy sofa which still had dirt underneath. Bed comfortable. Blind broken so couldn't lift up or down. Extractor fan in bathroom needs a good clean. Access stairs to the room looked like they hadn't been cleaned in a while. Attention to detail seems to be missing at this hotel in the rooms, though the public areas and gardens are beautifully kept. Sooo disappointed as we went for our anniversary and a birthday celebration. I wouldn't be tempted to stay again. This hotel should definitely not be graded as 5 star.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Location was very good for our visit
Cons: Very small room
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Dinner was exceptional and well worth the cost. The room was worth it too although not expensive. Separate bathroom with bath and large shower to the toilet and basin was a bonus. A 6' bed. Incredible surroundings with the striking beauty of the estuary and the "castle" with some excellent birds about
Cons: The bed was a little tired and breakfast was a disappointment as there was little effort for dietary needs despite notice and assurance
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Absolutely gorgeous location, friendly staff and a beautiful guest room. Originally had a granary room booked, however due to a leakage we were informed that we had a free upgrade to a classic room, out of courtesy. There was of course no extra charges, but in future we'd happily pay the extra £50 to have the larger room - it was stunning. Had a very peaceful, enjoyable break. The continental breakfast buffet was tasty. Restaurant prices a bit dear, but you get what you pay for - food was of very high quality. Definitely worth taking a walk through the grounds and nearby woodlands. Truly enchanting. Can't wait to return again next year.

Pros: Lovely patio out the back of the rooms / bar to have a drink in the evening. Nice walk along the waters edge from rear of hotel to Pembroke Castle, avoids the noisy main road. Spacious bedrooms with comfortable beds and useful trays to leave muddy shoes in when you return from a day of exploring the Pembrokeshire coastline. Good breakfast with speedy table service. Cons: nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Good selection of food and able to do gluten free meals.
Cons: toilet paper holder on wrong angle
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The food and the location were good. Just as well I called in advance to ask about parking as the booking company details showed that parking is available nearby, whereas the hotel has plenty of excellent parking on site.
Cons: The toilet seat was loose and the 'fridge was plugged in and sounded as though it was working, but it wasn't cold at all. The worst thing was the emergency exit light in the bedroom - it was like trying to sleep in a football stadium! I know exits must be marked but I have never stayed in a hotel where the light is so, so bright!

Pros: It has lots of character, all the basics that you need except perhaps a wardrobe, but very cosy. We had a very enjoyable time there and Julian and Jayne did everything possibly to make our stay a happy one.
Cons: Nothing - we really liked it. I think you mind find it a bit difficult if you are quite tall though!

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location and great advice on area and staff
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect for our wedding weekend
7.5 Good
Pros: Quaint little holiday let Great that we could take our little dog with us
6.3 Good
Pros: breakfast was ok, although everything on the welsh breakfast listed in the information book was not available daily, disappointing, bacon was very nice but had been cooked too early, would be better cooked fresh for each visitor. the doors to both our bedroom and the bathroom,(geared for disability), were badly fitting and creaky, a mirror at normal height in the bathroom would be helpful. Cobwebs in bathroom. Dust and cobwebs in bedroom, and the right hand corner of bedroom was very poorly finished, should have been plastered and painted. we had a lovely time in Pembrokeshire, however the 3 star rating for Cuffern Manor was definetley not warranted. They are trying their best, but they really need to spend a lot to update this beautiful property to show it's true potential.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Cuffern Manor is for those that enjoy holidaying in friendly and comfortable B & B accommodation is excellent. Julian and Jane and their staff are friendly and accommodating. Our grandchildren accompany us at least twice a year to B & B locations and they rated Cuffern Manor as good/excellent. Indeed on the last day of their stay they mentioned that they were sad to leave. This speaks volumes ! We also liked Julian's bar of wines and local beers that could be purchased and consumed in the comfort of the vast lounge available to guests. His attached library is also a bonus.
Cons: Perhaps a little more room in our bathroom but this is an old house and making en suite changes is difficult.
7.9 Good
Pros: The location was great, allowing us to explore St. Davids and the surrounding area of the Pembrokeshire coastline
7.5 Good
Pros: Beautifully converted little building that contains everything one needs. Amazing garden and tranquil place to stay. The owners are very friendly and helpful. They love to take care of the property and to serve their guests.
Cons: The ground floor of the converted building, though pleasantly cool, was quite damp with all the consequences as there is no cellar below.
