10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a very attractive larger unit, with a fine view across the town and valley. Petralia Sottana is an excellent, unspoiled mountain town with just enough to see to make a perfect overnight stay. It would be a great base for a longer visit to the Madonie.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location was excellent. The room itself was lovely with a magnificent view. It was clean, with enough room for the cases and was very well presented, the shower was lovely and hot. The owner clearly had great pride in his excellent establishment, and provided a great breakfast. Loan of the map was also much appreciated, as was help with getting the luggage from the car to the B&B, and advice on where to park the car.

Cons: We liked everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: fantastic view over the valley. very nice room and chats with the owner for breakfast. the owner was super nice to drive me repeatedly to a closeby convento for work - and he even kept quiet in the morning for extra comfortable sleep ;)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Our room had great view over the city Pietra Sottana. The city itself is very nice and has nice peaceful atmosphere, especially in night when is litten by orange public lights . The host waited for us on time and we enjoyed great breakfast in the morning.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very comfortable rooms with everything you need, and great views to the Madonie mountains. Guiseppe, our host was most considerate, and gave us information about Patralia Sottana and its environs. He also provided a great breakfast with fruit, omelette, yoghurts, fresh breads and homemade cake. Wonderful. He was most helpful with proving snacks - hungry small children need something after several hours in a car. Thank you.
Cons: No jug for making tea / coffee ( but there is always a bar nearby).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Giuseppa was fantastic. His communication was great. Meet us, showed us where to park and walked us to the B&B. Best of all he spent at two hours with us trying to track down related family members. He went over and above helping us. The view from our room was spectacular and breakfast was wonderful especially his omelette from his own eggs and his wife’s breakfast pastry.
Cons: Nothing

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Perfectly located in the nowhere. Very friendly owners. A lot of space for kids to run around. The large pool. Good to "hike" around. Easy to access by a small road in good quality. We had a relaxing time in the room with private kitchen we got! First our room was above the restaurant area, which was a bit too noisy for us with a little kid which goes early to bed - but it was easy and friendly possible to change the room.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location is beautiful, the view from the terrace is amazing. Also the pool is great and people are super friendly. The surrounings are nice and we felt very welcome to explore. The rooms were really nice with a great view and enough space. We had food at the place and it was absolutly good.
Cons: The water was not drinkable but we discoverd this later, after we all had been drinking water. Nobody spoke English which was a bit hard. The shower was too small for each of us. The generator under the window was noisy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect and the owners and the stuff was always very helpful and nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What an incredibly lovely family. They truly could not be nicer. While the farm house is in the country, it is still quite close to great Sicilian sights: picturesque hilltop towns, Cefalu, Roman tiles. The evening meals were delicious typical Sicilian fare.
Cons: There wasn't anything I didn't like!
8.3 Excellent
Pros: dinner was good nice room
Cons: breakfast could have been included for the price lack of activities
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Food was amazing, views amazing and staff amazing
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Lovely place, lovely setting, beautiful views
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location was perfect. We came here to have some relaxing time after cruising through Sicily for a week. The area is lovely and the views are amazing. We also got a very warm welcome and the lady immediately started to cook for a nice lunch. We also got an amazing 4 course diner in the evening. We defenitely relaxed here and would come back!
Cons: I loved the farm & the owners/people working here, but for a place like this I think it makes sense if they speak some words of English. The lady knew a bit of English, but the guy didn't spoke it at all. They also didn't really show us around the property, so we had to find our way around ourselves. We were also the only guests when we visited (November) and then the property is really silent due to it's size. However, we enjoyed that a lot because we came for a relaxed, peaceful, silent weekend, but be aware of this in off-season time.

Pros: Sophia the young girl who spoke some english was extremely helpful - I needed to get to a property 35 minutes away on the sunday and she arranged her brother to drive for €30... The hotel itself is basic/rustic depending on how you look at things. All in all its a nice family run place.

9.2 Excellent

Cons: Honestly, nothing could have made our stay better.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The views from the room are magnificent. Anyone who loves nature would love staying here. The owner is very welcoming. Breakfast is good and nicely presented. We had dinner on 2 occasions and it was very filling and tasting very good.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful place to stay. It's quite remote and high up in the hills, so cooler at night. The welcome and care was really friendly. Karin was helpful, recommending places to visit, park and walk, and Luigi is a great cook. We were booked half-board and are not fussy eaters so said just to give us whatever was good. We had lovely four course meals with lots of local specialties. And the setting for dinner and breakfast was romantic. We enjoyed saying hello to the animals too!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Total desolation and privacy in a wonderful, secluded and absolutely quiet old mill. Simple yet tasty cucina tipica, attending yet reserved owners. Outstanding starting point to start wandering and get lost (mentally) in the Madonie mountains.
