9.2 Excellent
Pros: The place is ok for a weekend of relax. Comfortable beds, nice living room to hangout. A place to chill out.
Cons: Breakfast starts at 9:15 which was a problem for us because we had meetings at 8:30 AM. Finally we managed to come back after the meeting before breakfast time ended, which was good because otherwise there was no place to have a decent breakfast in that area. Room was a bit cold. There was a heater in the room, but not enough to warm up the whole room and toilet. No English speaking staff and TV had no SAP to change the language, so all the movie channels were in spanish.
7.9 Good
Cons: The bathroom needs to be isolated from the room. With the actual setting there was not enough privacy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The welcoming was really warm. The bed was comfy, and it was a really clean room. Breakfast was simple but nice, Berni made mini pankcakes, which were awesome. Very amigable service. Would gladly go back any time.
5.4 Okay
Pros: Manu the bulldog
Cons: The bed was hard, the pool was so dirty you couldn't see your feet, there was no toilet paper, the shower did not work upon arrival and we were later told that it had to be filled up. There was no sound isolation between the rooms and we were kept awake until 3am from the room above. It was confusing to find with no clear signs up the driveway. We ended up on private property.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The place was very comfortable, and the host very helpful. Marcela, told us everything she can to makes us feel like home. The place at night was so quiet, you can listen the sea at night

10.0 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful hotel, creatively built into a stunning landscape. The food and amenities were great and the staff were very warm and helpful. The breakfast was especially good.
Cons: There was a short dirt road to reach the hotel. We had a truck so didn’t have any problem, but guests should be aware. The pool is quite small for swimming, but fine for a dip.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was very nice and had beautiful views of the water. It is perfectly located if you are just looking to relax or interested in walking to the surf break at Punta de Lobos. I would highly recommend.
Cons: Our stay was in November which is a cusp season. The weather was perfect but the area was very quiet during the week. We arrived on Saturday and did ask about food recommendations that day. I wish the staff mentioned most places are closed during the week so we took advantage of exploring during the weekend. Would be helpful to provide some info on places that will be open for individuals who are not familiar with the area.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Just a perfect place!!!!
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing views of the ocean and chic hotel. Very comfortable room with everything we needed. Breakfast in the room in the morning is a great touch. We also liked the robes and slippers.
Cons: It is a bummer foreigners have to pay taxes. At other hotels we stayed at in Chile, we did not have to.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: This property is so soothing and beautiful. You are literally right on the beach perched up in clean, modern rooms that couldn’t be better! The staff was also so friendly and accommodating for our late arrival.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location-situated on the beach right behind the rocks on which the waves crashed. The view out our window was the rocks and sea. Simply breathtaking!
4.6 Okay
Pros: Very small hotel - 8 rooms, nicely appointed, clean and modern looking room interiors, with very nice external modern wood architecture. Wonderfully located overlooking the ocean. Very quiet and peaceful surroundings. Excellent shower where with an incredible ocean view.
Cons: Cleanliness is very poor. We had to buy our own disinfectant to clean the bathroom and shower stall floors before we could think of stepping barefeet on them. Breakfast is brought in to the room; presentation is extremely poor, and small quantities served are simply a joke. Inconsistent as well; they bring You differing menus daily without asking.. Manager is there for check-in, check out, and that's about it. You are basically left to Your own devices. the "lounge" area, which is supposed to be of free access to guests, is arbitrarily locked after 6pm so there's no interior space to be at except for Your room. There are exterior wooden jacuzzis; the lack of hygiene there looked really bad as well. Our room had what seemed to be a heating pipe go through the wall, which made an extremely annoying "humming" sound, all evening, preventing us from... sleeping!...
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Staff was fantastic, breakfast was delicious, the property is beautiful

Pros: Me encanto, lindo hogareño, limpio, el personal entrañable. Clean, cozy, near the beach with a beautiful garden. Amazing Staff.
Cons: n/a
9.2 Excellent
Pros: It’s by far one of the best hostels I have stayed in Chile! It’s clean, it’s spacious, it’s quiet and well located, 5-min walk to the beach. The kitchen has everything you’d need.. it’s possibly better equipped than my own, they even provide you with free condiments and oil! The breakfast is super generous and I enjoyed very much taking it in the garden. Loved the house doggy as well! I recommend staying there 100%
Cons: The WiFi was really really bad..
9.2 Excellent
Pros: nice hostel with friendly staff and ok wifi. breakfast is ok
Cons: the brakfastarea in the kitchen is a little to small if there are a lot of guests
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Good location. Also the breakfast was great - much better than your average hostel breakfast. Our room was nice and clean. This hostel is about a five minute walk from the beach walking slowly so it’s a nice little place to stay near some great restaurants. There’s also a supermarket not too far away which we found convenient.
Cons: The wifi was not great. Also, for whatever reason their card reader wasn’t working so I couldn’t pay by card when checking out. I had to run to the nearest ATM and pay in cash. It wasn’t a big deal, but I was irritated when they suggested it might be the card after having just come from the supermarket using it.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Awesome location, right next to the city centre and to the main beach. Good breakfast (not very punctual but good), nice staff, very clean and safe.
Cons: Sometimes it was hard to find parking space...

7.1 Good
Pros: Friendly staff and super cute dog
Cons: The lodge facilities are awesome but you never get to use them because the staff have taken over the whole area and theyre always using it/sleeping in there
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff make this place special. Very warm and charming. The lodge is pretty good with quite a lot of character.
Cons: A little too far out from where it’s all happening. A five -ten min cab ride or 20-30 min walk.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Super helpful staff. Quiet oasis for relaxation. Fantastic common space to hang out in - with a book or to get work done if needed.
Cons: Much further from the beach than is written in the description. Bit of a trek to get down to the surf - 35min walk.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The place is really beautiful, nice place to relax and enjoy the facilities. I recommend to go when there is no many people so you can use the hot tub more than one hour a day. It’s probably better not to go on a lower car because of the dirt road but nothing terrible, just a recomendation, specially with bad weather. The food is delicious!
Cons: The breakfast was good, but as I have suger problems it didn’t have to many alternatives. Our shower wasn’t very clean
7.5 Good
Pros: Peaceful, relaxing spot. Staff was very helpful and accommodating. Wood burning hot tub and salt bath are a nice touch. Pizza and drinks were great.
Cons: Ended up being a bit more expensive than we had expected, but it is a very nice spot.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The Hotpot is amazing - in the middle of the nature! and staff is just wonderful!
8.8 Excellent
Pros: We’re able to treat the place like home.
Cons: A bit out of town, but taxis easy and cheap to get.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: good staff
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Cabin private and lovely. Location beautiful and staff friendly.
Cons: Promoted many activities and services however many of them were located offsite. You had to drive everywhere and this made it hard to allow everyone to relax and do their own things. Internet was not available in the cabins. We paid the final bill then were charged the same amount again when we got home as staff did not do it correctly - not good when you are budgeting! Were told substantially different prices for hire etc by different staff members.

7.1 Good
Pros: Great location directly in the city center and 5 minutes from the main beach. The family who owns the place is really friendly.
Cons: Breakfast could have more options. Also the shower did not always have hot water. The rooms can be pretty noisy if the hostel is full. Careful: you need to pay the first night in advance with a bank transfer (which cost me 20 dollars in commissions). Also they don't accept credit cards so be prepared to bring cSh.
6.7 Good
Pros: Run by nice family. Own parking lots. Location in centre close to beach. Nice garden to relax.
Cons: Staff spoke not a word of English. Breakfast was shabby. Room small. Bathroom had a combined "shower/bath" which was actually neither and thus uncomfortable.

6.7 Good
Pros: The staff is very helpful. And we found a room there at the last moment in the high season. The hotel is located close to the beach and the ocean.
Cons: The hotel is oldish and it shows. It is located close to the artisans market and a loudspeaker located there blasts full volume all the time (it was Saturday). Even at night you could here drums banging loudly. There is no elevator, so be prepared to carry your luggage. The only mirror is in the bathroom which is combined with a toilet what limits its use. No glasses provided. You can ask for them and you will get them. No hairdryer provided, but you can ask for it too.
6.7 Good
Pros: Location, very close to sea. Staff is friendly, room was clean
Cons: Delux double room turned out to be a very simple and basic room with minimal amenities. No wifi coverage in the room, only in the loby. The hotel door was locked until 09.00 AM in the morning , could not be opened from inside without the keys and there was nobody at reception either. Like a jail! I wonder what would happen if the fire broke out? ? Are customers expected to burn inside? No English speaking...

6.3 Good
Pros: Nice lobby/living room with nice views, the fireplace, getting fresh eggs, comfy bed, sustainability aspects like recycling.
Cons: Communication, especially regarding the payment and IVA. Typical Chilean customer service attitude taking zero responsibility, playing the victim and trying to make everything either the customers’ fault or someone else’s, like booking.com system. First, it is communicated that the reservation was already paid before arrival. When checking out, it turns out It’s not and that they can’t charge it via booking.com. Then, they tell that in order to avoid the IVA the payment should be made in US dollars IN CASH. Apparently this is something that other guests who have travelled a lot “just know”. Which is funny that he said that because the IVA law (foreign citizens do not pay IVA) is something very specific to Chile. And all of us have travelled a lot in the world and in Chile and have not encountered these problems. And even if that wasn’t the case, even if it was the first time in our lives staying in a hotel, for me it’s not alright to blame the customer for not knowing, after sending these mixed messages. Moreover, their payment system had problem with foreign credit cards and I had to ask my friend to pay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The lounge was amazing, and we spent so much time hanging out with the other guests and just chilling, reading and enjoying the cosy vibe and views. The beds were amazing and super comfy, everything was clean and everything that you would need. The hostel is between town and Punto Lobos. So it was so easy to hitch-hike or get a cheap taxi or walk to either place. The hostel has bikes for rent as well. The beach is close and easily accessible.
Cons: Nothing!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Amazing stay at Casa Verde! It is perched on top of a hill, with amazing views of the sea. The common area is just fantastic! It's beautiful with big couches, from which you can watch the sunset through the immense glass window or simply read a book and chill as if you were at home. Our room was very comfortable and common bathroom always clean! The owners are super friendly and Claudia even took us to the bus station on our last day!
Cons: Nothing

7.9 Good
Pros: The hostal is in front of the beach, it has a beatifull view. Breakfast at the Puente Holandés restaurant are awesome. The staff is very kind and they always willing to solve any kind of problem that you may have.
Cons: At first the owner contacted me and told me that in order to reserve the room I need to transfer the total amount for all the days that I will staying there, they didn't give me any chance to pay with credit card. Although the hotel is very well located front of the beach, is a very noisy place in the night because of the near nightclubs, you may need some earplugs to rest at night.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The lady that was waiting for us Margarita
Cons: The room was smaller than expected, nevertheless very comfortable.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: You can adjust the temperature of the room
Cons: Balcony without sea view
5.8 Okay
Pros: The host is very friendly. The breakfast across the street right in front of the beach is a beautiful location.
Cons: There is no area to hang around and exchange with others like very commen in all other hostels we know. Maybe they could use the beautiful terrace for it where they serve breakfast. Cleanliness could be improved: Since our stay nobody cleaned our room or emptied the bin in the bathroom. There even still was waste from the people in there who rented the room before.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Close to where we needed to be. Staff were very nice and went out of their way to help us.
Cons: Room was a bit small but not a real drama
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly staff - any problem was solved swiftly - they make you feel home. No parking on site, but owners offered safe parking at their home, just a 5-minute walk away.
Cons: During two out of three nights very loud parties were held at the restaurants across the street. It was impossible to sleep till 5.30 AM. The owner apologized, explained that he is taking legal action and offered compensation which we much appreciated, but it kind of ruined a good part of our stay.
7.9 Good
Pros: Clean, nice rooms, great breakfast, convenient location, friendly and helpful staff
Cons: A little lacking in facilities, we really only had our room, no kitchen or common space (apart from the restaurant area), felt more like a hotel which was fine for us as a couple :) We did find it a little bit expensive
6.7 Good
Pros: The bed was comfortable and the outlook place was cool.
Cons: Attention: Try to make foreigners pay tax although foreigners for certain countries do not have to pay tax! After booking via booking.com, we received an message asking when we will arrive and that we only can pay in cash or via bank transfer the amount including tax. I answered asking if we can pay without tax. The answer was just stating the entire amount incl. tax again. At checkout again the total amount incl. tax was asked for. So I called the owner asking for an explanation why we have to pay tax. We never paid tax for any of our accommodations in Chile so far. I did not get an reasonable explanation but suddenly we did not have to pay tax anymore. So obviously they just try to pay us tax on purpose, which in my opinion is a shame!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Great service and breakfast, the bed were clean and comfy. Hot water amazing! The best was the inside temperature, no windy noises.
Cons: It's was kind of weird the parking and parking space condition, you have to leave the key in the nights, so they can move the other cars.
