8.3 Excellent
Pros: The property is clean and well maintained, and the rooms are large and nicely furnished. There’s also parking in the premises with an electric gate that makes the place feel nice, safe and quiet.
Cons: Three main things: 1. Staff - The hosts felt a bit unprofessional. Their English was quite poor, they walked about wearing unofficial clothing (i.e. sweatpants), and we’re absent from reception most of the time. 2. No food policy - you can’t eat ANYWHERE in the premises. Not even a little. Zero tolerance. It’s very unusual and uncomfortable. Even far better luxury hotels don’t introduce such unreasonable limitations. With that, the included breakfast was very dull. At least, if you forbid food in the hotel, you should make the meals rich and satisfying. 3. Location - the photos presented online were carefully selected to show the best of the hotel. No surprise, everyone does that. But what you should know is that the entire area is industrial and there isn’t much to do around there. Add the long siestas and you really got nothing to do, except for driving to other cities. If that’s what you want, great! Just know that this is the kind of place this is, because it isn’t reflected in the photos. In retrospect, we personally would have probably preferred to find a place along the coast or stay longer in southern Tuscany.

Pros: The place was wonderful. Staff was very helpful no matter at what time we needed them. Very good breakfast.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location (i.e. ideal starting point to discover the north of Tuscany), excellent room and facilities, limited number of guests, kind and hospitable staff, great pool and nice gardens.
Cons: Mosquitos, limited breakfast, no dinner available, construction works, additional costs at the end (i.e extra cost for coffee, scrambled eggs...), proactiveness of the staff.
5.0 Okay
Pros: The size of the room
Cons: Breakfast could have been better
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything, everyone is very friendly and helpful, the breakfast is very tasty. The wines are excellent. The pool area is perfect. We will come back for sure
5.8 Okay
Pros: beautiful and clean but the hostess ruined the experience!
Cons: the hostess made us feel very uncomfortable. no food in the room was a clear rule which we even signed for during check in ( no problem, we respect every place and its rules) but STILL we were questioned atleast 7 times about eating in the room which we had no intention of doing. our bags were checked for contraband and we felt really questioned. when we ate the overpriced lunch at the villa, the owner got irritated for us wanting to pay with a card ”because then I need to add tax” which we ended up paying on top of the original price. this made our simple lunch our most expensive during our 3 weeks in italy. the place is really beautiful and the rest of the staff nice but the hostess ruined our stay, we do NOT recommend this to anyone.
