Pros: Really helpful owners, lovely large room and great breakfast!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: So perfect!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Delicious breakfast
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic place with a nice view - Sea and Naples on one side and Vesuvius on another. Rooms are spacious and and comfort. The Pizzeria and restaurant is just in the next building. Private parking also is very close.
Cons: Mini markets are not close, though no problem with car.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: What I liked was it was a nice area, easy to get about and i slept well. The air conditioning was really good
Cons: It’s hard to say, the fan didn’t work but we forgot to tell the owner so they probably don’t know
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I booked without being sure the reception would be open, and yet there was someone waiting for me when I arrived. In fact, I didn’t realize it until I was on WiFi at the hotel, but they had messaged me to ask about my arrival. They asked which kind of croissant I would like in the morning, as they would be picking them up fresh from the patisserie. I highly recommend staying here.
Cons: The only downside was that the sea view room the booking said online, was actually taken — that being said, they were very apologetic and offered me free parking as a compensation for the mistake. Honestly, I was so tired and so grateful they were expecting me, I had absolutely no complaints about this. The idea of sea view was just “oh, okay cool!” My room was AMAZING (Vesuvio). Nothing bad about my stay.
7.1 Good
Cons: In one of the bedroom wasn't window.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We’ve spent 2 nights here with our family (2 Adults, 2 Boys). These were the last two nights of our fantastic South Italian Roadtrip. Our stay was absolute fantastic! - Most friendly owners, Massimo e Patrizia, such a lovely couple. They gave us a warm welcome and were very helpful in what to visit, were to eat, how to drive... etc... - The Rooms were very clean! - We had a balcony with great view - Good Airco to cool down after hot day in August - Nice and big bathroom - Small fridge in the room - Good Breakfast - Location perfect to visit Ruines of Pompeï, Vesuvius, Napels.... - The B&B does not have a restaurant, but there’s a great restaurant (Ristorante Gianni al Vesuvio) next to the B&B - Parking possibility close to B&B
10.0 Excellent
Pros: It was like visiting friends. Everything was great about the B&B: spacious room, very clean, Italian breakfast (the hosts ask if you would prefer anything else, but when in Rome do as Romans do, so we decided for Italian variant). Grazie mille a Massimo e Patrizia, who are incredible hosts, are ready to help their guests with everything, always ready to give a piece of advice what to visit, where to park the car, etc, etc. The location is great if you would like to go to Vesuvius; it's also only 15-20 minutes drive to Garibaldi metro station. Parking available on the site. But without a car it would be challenging to move around the place. We could not wish a better welcome at Napoli! P.S. Massimo, you were absolutely right: cannoli siciliane, aranchini and cassata are absolutely delicious. Many thanks for recommending!
Cons: A bit weak wifi signal, but for us it was not a problem at all, as there are much more pleasant things to do in Italy
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent stay, friendly owner, perfect advice about local places. We will come again to Sanfralu in the future.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic welcome and hospitality from Massimo (who speaks very good English) and his family. Our flight to Naples had been delayed and we didn't arrive at Sanfralu until nearly midnight - too late to eat at the neighbouring pizzeria. Massimo drove me to a nearby open pizzeria, waited with me for the order and drove me back. We ate our pizzas at quarter to one in the morning on the terrace outside our room, overlooking the bay of Naples - wonderful! Good breakfast, relaxed, easy-going. Very helpful advice from Massimo for our planned visits to Pompeii and Ercolano (+ a quick Vesuvius "drive-by"). Brilliant value-for-money. Slightly away from main routes but easy enough to find with an adequate map or satnav. Lovely meal 2nd night at the next-door "Gianni di Vesuvius" pizzeria with glorious views over the Bay of Naples -recommended!
Cons: Nothing!
Ruins B&B - Ercolano - Bedroom

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location to ruins and restaurants.
Cons: The restaurant (for dinner) was disappointing in service and quality of food.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location if you want to visit the ruins at Herculaneum - across the street Very helpful staff Make use of the offer to be picked up at Naples airport
Cons: no restaurant service on a Sunday evening
6.7 Good
Pros: Well placed for Herculaneum ruins site. Helpful Henrico helped us sort our packing and luggage . Breakfast was splendid with freshly squeezed sorrento orange juice
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location for Herculaneum. Easy to get to the train station for visits to Naples. Really clean hotel and very nice staff. Good family rooms.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Fabulous place and great value. Location could not be any better for Herculaneum. Parking is not great in the local area but it is possible to find white car parking spaces (free parking) on roads 5 minutes walk away (we parked on Via Plinio about half way down). The area in general is a little run down but the people were friendly and we found an excellent restaurant (Viva Lo Re) that actually had Michellin awards and was fabulous AND cheap!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: This B&B met our needs perfectly. We were staying one night in Ercolano, to allow us to visit Herculaneum in the morning before traveling further south in Italy. We chose the hotel because it was right across the road from the entrance to Herculaneum and they had secured parking nearby. This was really useful for our use. We arrived late in the evening and we were quickly checked in and taken to our room. As it was late at night we were given details of the parking location and this was straight forward. We were also given the details of a couple of local restaurants and we had a very good late night pizza almost across the road. The room in the B&B is accessed through a corridor on the first floor. The room was functional, clean and had a good bathroom. We slept well and had a good breakfast in the lovely room on the first floor before heading to see Herculaneum. We were able to leave our car in the hotel car park while we visited the site which was really helpful. A perfect spot for an overnight to Herculaneum.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: I stayed there with my two sons and we all liked it there very much. Staff of the hotel was very nice and friendly. The hotel is located right next to the entrance of the Hercunaleum ruins so it was easy to walk between ruins and hotel. Special thanks to the kitchen of very tasty breakfast. Will go there again some day!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Excellent pastries and fresh orange juice for breakfast. Lucianna the owner was super friendly and helpful. Opposite the ruins. Comfortable beds.
Cons: Nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Facilities are clean and modern, room is small, but that is usual in much of Europe. Location is fantastic-right opposite the Herculaneum and close to the train station. Breakfast was lovely, and the ladies serving breakfast were just so helpful and cheerful. I requested gluten free, and they catered beautifully. Bed was a little firm for my liking, but ok.
Cons: The minibar was incomplete, we had a little outdoor table, but only 1 beer to enjoy between us (and no bottle opener). I would like to see a bottle of water each in our room daily or access to a central water bubbler that I could fill my drink bottle up from as I would get back from touring thirsty, and have to go out again just to get a drink. The restaurant was under staffed and had an inexperienced waiter on that couldn't handle servicing 4 tables. She got very flustered. There was an altercation from another table and they walked out. We were patient and kind and everything was fine. The food was good, but not great.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice hotel, spacious and very clean rooms. Very friendly staff. My kids enjoyed the pool very much. Would recommend. Very good for families and kids.
Cons: Everything was good..
9.6 Excellent
Pros: FREE Parking on the premises. Simple but good choices of breakfast for hot or cold meal
Cons: Quite a distance to center of Napoli. But, it did not bother us because we have a car. Perhaps an electric water kettle inside the room should be good for making a tea.
3.8 Mediocre
Cons: The floor smells like horse house The receptionist was very rude.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The service was great and the staff was very helpfull. The parking was comfortable Clean room
Cons: Everything was fine
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Nothing
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel was well maintained, the room was in tiptop shape and extremely clean. Everything worked fine. Extra plus for the safe deposit box which was in the room. The front desk customer service was excellent. The hotel was conveniently located for my purposes. Unfortunately I did not have time to explore Naples as much as I would have liked to.
Cons: The breakfast was fine although I would have liked to have other than just plain white bread.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: We got free upgrade of the room to executive, which was nice. The room was of average size, clean and neat. Polite and helpful staff. Great advantage is spacious free private parking. Good breakfast with omelette and bacon + standard Italian breakfast, i.e. croissants, toasts, pastry and jams
Cons: Sound proof, as almost everywhere in Italy, leaves to be better. Located quiet far from the main attractions, but there is a metro station nearby and there is a free private parking for the car, so location is just a minor issue
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and clean
7.9 Good
Pros: Pleasant personnel , hotel was very clean and quiet . Room was air conditioned and had a mini bar. I have spent there only one night but I do recommend this place.
Cons: No negatives .
Hotel Herculaneum - Ercolano - Bedroom

Overview Reviews
With a stay at Hotel Herculaneum, you'll be centrally located in Ercolano, steps from Herculaneum and Museo Archeologico Virtuale. Featured amenities include express check-in, express check-out, and a 24-hour front desk. Guests may use a train station pick-up service for a surcharge, and self parking (subject to charges) is available onsite.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Nice atmosphere to the whole hotel and terrace. Our room had lovely tiles on the floor. Nice breakfast with the local speciality sfogliatella pastry to try, which was lovely. Good air con and wi fi. Very friendly staff. They let us leave our bags for several hours after we checked out so we could go to the archeological park. The hotel is very close to the park so you can get there early before the hottest part of the day. Ercolano is not very touristy so has a nice local feel.
Cons: The single beds we had were a little uncomfortable and pillows flat but still slept ok. Restaurant food was a bit disappointing but not very expensive. Not sure that nearby restaurants would have been any better going by the other food we had while there.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The cleanliness, felt very welcome
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location just across from the Herculaneum ruins and within easy reach of Naples and Sorrento. Lovely breakfast overlooking the coast and a nice menu for dinner if you wanted to stay in. All the staff were very helpful and happy to assist in any way.
7.5 Good
Pros: Incredibly central. Just across the road from Herculaneum. Clean basic room. Not as modern as their picture. But perfectly functional
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Staff at the hotel were brilliant, very pleasant and helpful. There was good communication before my arrival so I knew I had a flexible arrival time. My room had a great view and was spotlessly clean. Breakfast was scrumptious with the local pastry and freshly squeezed orange juice and breakfast service from staff was bubbly and in a vey pleasant setting. The hotel is straight across the road from the entrance to the Herculaneum ruins, so position for my needs was a huge positive. Not too long of a walk to the train station. I loved the whole town and visit.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff were very helpful and the location is perfect for walking across the street and also catching train to Pompeii if you don’t want to stay in Napoli. My room had a lovely balcony with a view of the gate to the archeological park and the breakfast room has an even better view of it. Breakfast includes fresh orange juice and a sfogliatella pastry. And great espresso!
Cons: The town Ercolano itself closes up early but I did have an excellent meal up the street at Caffe Italia.
5.8 Okay
Pros: Staff was very helpful. Nice terrace. Good value for money.
Cons: The room wasn’t as modern and stylish as the photos on the website would let you believe. The bathroom was VERY dated. Although the hotel is right opposite the lovely archeological site of Herculaneum, the rest of the area is VERY run down and Ercolano is not a nice place to stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent hotel, staff were brilliant.
Cons: Nothing, it was a very pleasant stay and a good base for Herculaneum and Pompei
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast was continental style with superb pastries and fresh orange juice. Excellent service. The entire staff was pleasant, and the front desk was extremely helpful in setting up our tour to Vesuvius and our taxi ride back to Naples airport. The room had individually controlled A/C, free WiFi, and cable TV (albeit mostly in Italian). Comfortable room. Great location. The Herculaneum ruins, a must see, are literally across the street, and Mt. Vesuvius, another must see, is a 20-minute hotel shuttle ride (fee of 15 Euro per person for RT). An uphill walk of about 45 minutes is necessary to reach the rim of the volcano. Not for the immobile. The train station is just up the hill from the hotel and will provide transportation to and from Pompeii and from and to Naples airport. The hotel is located in a very nice section with many excellent local restaurants. The museum is also up the street and gives a thorough background about ancient Herculaneum before the eruption in 79 AD. If you are going to visit Ercolano, as the town with the ruins of Herculaneum is called, to learn about its unique past, the Herculaneum Hotel/Ruins B&B is the place to stay. Also, the hotel will store luggage for the day after check out to allow for unencumbered sight seeing.
Cons: Not a thing. A pleasant time from the moment we arrived until we had to reclaim our luggage after a day traipsing all around Vesuvius and Herculaneum.
7.9 Good
Pros: The staff were lovely and the location was just what we wanted and the bed was comfy
Cons: The hotel’s interior decor looked nothing like the photos and we had no window/natural daylight in our room

8.3 Excellent
Pros: Great location, very nice room (814).
Cons: The restaurant service was very slow at dinner, and the bar and restaurant were clearly short staffed.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: A very pleasant hotel, with nice rooms, very clean, all facilities in and around, very good breakfast and complete,
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Location cleanliness
Cons: Noise from streets! So I had to sleep with earplugs. Good breakfast but artificial orang juice (concentrate) instead of natural one
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Location and a nice roof top bar and restaurant although the menu is limited
Cons: Nothing
7.9 Good
Pros: Great location near city center. Very clean hotel.
Cons: The garage was a big caos and not very cleaned. Entrance to the hotel from the parking wasn´t very easy.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast on the roof terrace was superb. Location was spot on for exploring the city on foot and metro some 50 meters from hotel.
Cons: The only little gripe was our executive room was rather small for two people. the bed was very comfortable but room 821 has lovely view and large terrace but the room is comfortable for one person tight for two.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location is really good. Right between the important Port (i.e. to go to three little islands of Capri, Procida and Ischia) and the bustling city center. We arrived very early in the morning and was pleased that the lady in the reception managed to give us the room right away. Though not as impressive-looking from the outside, inside is really nicely decorated. The room also seems to be newly renovated. Breakfast hall at the rooftop offers magnificent view and breakfast is awesome.
Cons: Perhaps to have a bottle of water in the room plus some coffee/tea making set would be really a good addition.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Extra friendly and polite staff, amazing rooftop view for both breakfast and dinner, and excellent Baba. Piano wasn't out of tune like many hotels, so if you have it in you sit and play.
Cons: If I am supposed to mention a couple of minor issues WiFi was out of coverage in the room yet works fine in the bathroom, so go figure the pros and cons :)
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Really good hotel for the price we paid. Not to far from the city center and the castles. The breakfast buffet was really good, did not have it on my day rate but it was worth it to pay for it.
Cons: WiFi was not easy to access.
7.5 Good
Pros: Most of the staff were friendly, but a few of the waiters were quite rude! Nice outside bar on 9th floor.
Cons: Service at dinner and lunch was very slow.

Cons: A bit old but still clean and comfortable anyway.
6.2 Good
Pros: The staff was helpful and nice
Cons: They need to update the hotel a bit it's very dated it's like stepping into 1945. They need to make the hotel like Thr terrace they have on the very top there is a restaurant there and it's the only area of the hotel that I would consider a 5. Star.they should use the style of that restaurant for the entire hotel.

Pros: We have now stayed twice at the Grand Hotel Santa Lucia and think it has lovely charm and is the best hotel location in Naples. The hotel staff and friendly and welcoming and we now have a preferred room that we would come back to when next visiting Naples.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Breakfast is really good, in particular coffee and pastries. The view on the marina is beautiful, the room is cosy and well equiped.
Cons: There is not a restaurant with a view on the bay. When I asked for a reservation to the Hotel Vesuvio next door the concierge was not at all helpful. Nevertheless information for a reservation in a restaurant at the marina was very good.

Pros: Triple was a great size for 3. They gave us a boxed breakfast to go as we left very early in the morning for a flight. Only stayed 1 night, but it was in a great location. Near lots of restaurants.
Cons: They need magnifying mirror in bathroom
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Location was perfect
4.2 Okay
Pros: Nice view.
Cons: Poor condition. Patches on the walls. Staff were not helpful. When I called with a simple question about my reservation, they put me on hold for 20 minutes. When I called back and asked not to be put on hold, they put me on hold again and when I called the 3rd time and asked not to be put on hold, they hung up on me. I have never been treated so poorly by a staff member answering the phone. We needed breakfast Togo in the morning and we arranged to have Togo bags. I met with the front desk and explained in detail that my wife has a severe nut allergy and had them write it on the order. I was assured they understood the severity. When we opened the breakfast in the car, there were nuts in some of the items and no one in the car could eat. Besides a nice view, I am not sure how it got its stars.

Pros: great location (in the historical city center), amazing hosts (it would have been nice if we had more time to talk :-)), wonderful old (historic) building! we really loved our stay :-)
Cons: the bathroom was not in the room, but close by (and private). you have to take very many stairs to reach the B&B, but your hosts inform you about this before you arrive, so no unexpected surprises :-) the effort is worth it, btw - the B&B is lovely!

Pros: Fantastic. warm and friendly owners.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location. Very friendly staff. Clean and quirky. Just loved it. Will definitely come back. There are a lot of stairs to climb. But this was not a problem for us. Breakfast was varied and well worth the 5 euro
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The location is amazing situated in the centre of the Historic District nearest one of the best Pizzerias (ll' President) and not too far from the ports, train station and the funicular. The property was kept to an immaculate standard and each room was well-designed and airconditioned, not to mention the property had an amazing balcony with lots of plants.
Cons: I only wished that there were more comfortable chairs on the balcony, honestly, that is it.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The property was quiet yet well placed in the bustling Centro Storico. The private sun terrace, the aircon and the ensuite shower facilities were our saviour in mid 30s temperatures. The attention to detail in the property was great, things were well thought out.
Cons: Can't think of anything.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Great location great staff very good breakfast big rooms an oasis within the frenetic old town
Cons: The shared bathroom wasn’t as close as I thought it would be

7.9 Good
Pros: The hotel was beautiful and the location was perfect. We would absolutely stay here again.
Cons: Unfortunately, we had to check out early, around 4:30am. The gentleman behind the reception was a little off in his manner, quite short. I put it down to him maybe having a bad shift. Apart from that, all was great!

7.9 Good
Pros: The location is superb, and the view is awesome. It’s a very classic style hotel with comfortable and elegant rooms.
Cons: The staff was not as nice and helpful as you expect from this category - maybe it has to do with Naples because many people were not friendly. The breakfast was not the best quality, the omlette was not made from real eggs.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Large room with sea view and great location
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Service throughout was superb, roof top terrace amazing.
Cons: Plug didn’t work in the bath.
4.6 Okay
Cons: This place is awful it should be at the best 3 stars, I can see how this hotel was nice 20 years ago but nothing is clean or renovated. Our first room had dirty walls, wholes in the wall and broken lamps!!! The staff is like almost dead with no reaction.

Pros: In the way to Amalfi, we stayed one night in the hotel. Everything went very well. The room is super clean, modern. Breakfast was great. All in all, it is an ideal place for quick stay, great value of money. It cannot go wrong!

Cons: I liked everything.
8.0 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was lovely, easy to find and helpful. They upgraded our room which was a lovely surprise.
Cons: Air conditioning wasn’t working and so was a bit hot and had to have the window open which meant you could hear the train.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Very good breakfast and location.
7.9 Good
Pros: Comfortable and clean, good coffee, friendly staff.
Cons: The tourist tax was not mentioned on the booking com page, nor upon check in, but only at check out. Breakfast had very few vegan options, and in the room it was a bit loud because of the trains.
5.0 Okay
Pros: Good location Good transport links (the hotel is connected to the train station)
Cons: Hardly any selection for breakfast Bad WiFi Terrible night staff. They claim that there is a 24 hour concierge which was untrue in our experience. We were hungry and the hotel has no room service so we went out for food late at night. When we came back and pressed the button to be buzzed in, there was no response. We were forced to stand outside in napoli at 4/5 am for 45 mins whilst the concierge was doing god knows what, only for him to tell us that we DIDN’T press the button. We were not the only guests left outside waiting so this argument didn’t work. Your complaints are simply treated as lies. Also the pictures are deceiving in the sense that you would expect a spacious, modern 4 star hotel. However, When you arrive you just find a dark and abandoned entrance where the elevator is to take you upstairs. There are bell hops but they don’t assist you with your bags which begs the question of why they are there. In summary, we left Naples a day earlier than planned due to them and are still awaiting a refund for that night we didn’t spend there. I wouldn’t recommend unless you are on a VERY short stay.

Cons: Every thing was fine but the quality of the breakfast could be a little better
7.5 Good
Cons: In our first night the AC in the room didn't work (it was mid august!), the staff was very nice but didn't come up with a solution and said there is no other room available and only next day we will be moved \ AC will be fixed. We got compensated with some drinks on the bar but we really didn't get back our sleepless HOT night.

Pros: Romeo is perfectly located in Naples, convenient to the city center and especially cruise ships and ferries. I had a fabulous dinner at their rooftop restaurant.

Pros: This Hotel had it all. Comfort, location, great food and style to with it. The pool are was a bonus in a Hotel in Naples.
Cons: Nothing.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Staff were generally helpful. Breakfast and bell desk staff were very friendly. Breakfast options were really good.
Cons: We booked a a harbour facing room but we had was a view of a derelict port building. You had to walk right up to the window to look left and right to see part of the harbour. So basically its a partial view.Very disappointing and not worth the extra money you had to pay for the view.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was really helpful and everything was sparkling clean
Cons: The location is not the prettiest
6.0 Good
Pros: Hotel was nice- Modern and up to date
Cons: The neighborhood was terrible= Naples looked like it was rundown with crime from where this hotel was situated. The room was small and somehow, the shower opened directly to the bed. The lights in the room were on a sensor- so if you are showering and not moving, the lights shut off within 60 seconds. on my high standard, the hotel was essentially built to try and be a 5star, but failed to get there. the beds were terrible as well- 5 star hotel, i expect a queen or a king bed that is not a stiff European bed on a board. If you want a 5star luxury hotel, its not that. But it was nice.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Simply amazing, brilliant location, superb staff, stunning spa and lovely outdoor pool with amazing views of Vesuvius, Sorrento and Capri across the harbour ... Naples is a superb City and a great base to travel from via fast ferries to explore the nearby coastal villages. An amazing place to stay and such a wonderful experience that we’d love to repeat again ASAP
Cons: Faultless
9.1 Excellent
Pros: The Romeo is an upscale, eclectic hotel, near the waterfront in Naples. The service is generally excellent, and the rooftop pool is unusual and not to be missed. The rooms are high tech, perhaps too much so.
Cons: The overnight shift at the front desk could use some retraining - indifference seems to be the primary attitude. Naples itself seems safe and is a vibrant city, but it sure is dirty and needs routine litter pick up and infrastructure maintenance.

Pros: Very good location- just a few steps from the Historical Center. Great value for money, pretty rooms big enough, nice design. This place is very relaxing, so different to crazy Naples. There’s a real local life just outside the hotel - like tiny shops with local delicious goods. Hotel provides a really good breakfast with choice of sweets, cheese and hams (it’s not so common in Italy). Staff - always trully helpful with a smile.
Cons: Nothing

Cons: It is basically a good hotel but it is somewhat hard to find because it is located inside a huge building. But in general, it’s a great place to accommodate in Napoli. I will come here again if visiting Napoli for the second time.
7.9 Good
Pros: Cheap breakfast, friendly staff, clean room and decent size
Cons: Instructions on locating the front door upon booking and maybe better signage. Pretty hard to find when your not expecting it to be through a little door with no sign
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Staff is so amazing, friendly and welcoming. Location is great. Comfy bed.
Cons: Breakfast... But that's always the case in Italy, so I wasn't expecting anything great anyway.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The central location.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Great location, comfortable and good service.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Perfect location, friendly and helpful staff.
Cons: Bed wasn’t very comfortable and bathroom was a bit old.
9.6 Excellent
Cons: Water at the shower room didn’t go away quickly.
7.9 Good
Pros: The staff was very friendly, starting with the driver, Vincenzo, who took us from the airport and also the 2 ladies from the reception. The location of the hotel is wonderful, right in the heart of the old city.
Cons: The bulding is very old and the rooms are not that well renovated. The pictures show a bit more than it really is. We had a deluxe double room, the fact that there was an additional bed in the room was not that pleasant because it limits the space. The room and the bath are clean, but still not sparkling clean. I would go with a better and bigger TV, as well as with a better quality furniture.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location, the room was very spacious and with the balcony and Cinzia (staff)is very kind
Cons: There weren’t USB powerpoint to charge mobile phone

Pros: Clean place.. Hospitality
Cons: Dirty town... Dangerous place
9.5 Excellent
Pros: It was welcoming as the name itself!
Cons: Nothing!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Alessandra is a very friendly and willing person. She welcomed us and gave us a map with the must see. The room was excellent clean and comfortable, also the bathroom was big enough and pretty new!Even though Alesandra lives next to the room, she is very discreet and every time we was coming back the room was tidy and warm. Also the breakfast was really good and fair!
Cons: The beds are extremely single but of very good quality!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything was perfect in our stay thanks to Alessandra. She was kind and helped us with maps of Napoli and suggestions with how to spend better our short time in this beautiful city. The cosy room had everything we needed and it was very clean. Everyday we woke up with a proper napoletanian coffee made by our host.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Alessandra, the owner, is a very nice lady, helpful and informative. The property is inside an old mansion and easy to find. We spent 7 days here and Alessandra cleaned the room everyday, filled us with chilled water (required in this hot summer!). The toilet is fabulous and also the balcony. The property owns a small fridge and microwave oven to store and warm our own food. The City is easily accessible by metro or by walk from here. A short story, On the first day of arrival around 19:30, when we were so hungry after a long day from Rome to Naples, Alessandra informed us about a near-by pizza shop. We ran out of cash. I talked to the shop owner and he took me on his bike to the ATM to get the cash. It is nearly an overwhelming experience.
Cons: Welcome Bed & Breakfast is in the middle of two metro station of Naples, Materdei and Salvator Rosa in the uphill direction. The roads and sideways are too narrow and dirty to walk on with luggages. The second thing is there is no nearby ATMs (within 1.5 km perimeter; the nearest one is near Materdei metro, 200m walk on another direction) and all local shops charge only cash, very few with cards.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Lovely little B&B, and the aircon was a godsend! Not far from the main attractions, but unfortunately that means you have to walk through some rougher parts of Naples. Just get the metro and you are sorted.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We spent 3nights at Welcome and really enjoyed the place. The owner was very helpful and friendly. The location was great for us - you can feel the real Naples here and.it is close to the underground station. The room was clean and comfortable. A good acommodation for a couple!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: We had a great time in Naples. Alessandra is nice and very helpful. The room was clean, well lit, with a small balcony and a good bathroom. The breakfast is simple, but ok (2 different kind of breads, butter, yogurt coffe and tea).
Cons: The walk from the metro station to the Welcome B&B. The path way from the metro station to the apartment goes thru narrows, dirty sidewalks. It makes the 10-minute up hill walk become a little harder, especially if you're carrying luggages. otherwise it's ok.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very clean and spacious. The owner was so kind and hospitable. Really helpful even though she did speak much English. Used google translate. Handy breakfast area next to bedrooms.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Very nice clean and comfortable place to stay in Napoli. Very friendly owner. Convinient location near subway station.

9.0 Excellent
Pros: The Hotel is located near central station so very convenient, modern and with very good staff. Facilities are up to scratch and all work. Breakfast was very good and the balcony view superb. You pay for car parking but hotel staff ease the pain of this being exceptionally oblidging.
Cons: Super busy area - so if you dont like the throngs of people emerging from trains etc then maybe head elsewhere - but this is all part of central city life and makes for a great travelling and life experience
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Nice room, if small. Very nice breakfast and bar area on the top floor.
Cons: The location on Piazza Garibaldi is convenient but has its drawbacks, number one being the loud and crazy traffic. The windows are good at blocking almost all the noise, but some gets through.
7.1 Good
Pros: Good breakfast. Good localization if you travel by train. Comfortable bed.
Cons: Big noise from the streets. Small room.
10.0 Excellent
Cons: Felt we were made very welcome, nothing to much trouble... Will return to this hotel.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The quality of the hotel was much higher than what we expected for the price we paid. Rooms were very modern and clean. All check-in and restaurant/bar staff were extremely friendly and spoke good English. The rooftop bar is great as well! Would definitely recommend this hotel if you need an overnight stay in Naples. P.S the area is noisy but the shutters in the room somehow manage to block all of it out!
Cons: Area was fine, but not very picturesque. This was fine for us as we were only staying overnight due to a late flight into Naples.
7.0 Good
Pros: the rooftop lounge has a great view and is a nice place to sit in morning or evening

7.5 Good
Pros: The property, the views and the breakfast. Staff was courteous.
Cons: We were with friends. I made the reservations and used my credit card to secure the rooms. Our air conditioning was minimal. Our friend’s room 601 was spacious and nicely furnished with a large bathroom. Our room was so tiny we could not open all our bags at the same time. When we realized the discrepancy I inquired why when we paid the same amount our accommodations were so different. At this point it was late and we were tired. The staff offered a different room or bar credit but we decided it was too late to move I think people traveling together paying the same amount should be given the same level of accommodation.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very Nice rooms Good location of the Hotel (close to Toledo street for shopping) Very nice terrace with 2 small whirlpools Good air condition Great front desk staff and very friendly staff at the entrance to open the door or help with baggage Parking Service was great Organized a very great private City Tour through Napoli via World Tours. The driver was available within 15 minutes! Really great Tour! Service at breakfast was friendly
Cons: Breakfast looked better at the pictures at least we thought there is more selection of products. It finally was okay. They charged extra money for Omlettes, egg Benedict etc. Service at Dinner was not good and Dinner itself was also not so good. The staff there was not so friendly. The Restaurant was in the First floor...why not at the roof terrace???? The Service for drinks at the roof terrace ignored us and was really bad.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was great.
Cons: Restaurant was terrible and overpriced. Very disappointing last meal In Italy.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Bed very comfortable. Breakfast was high quality. Staff serving breakfast were outstanding. Rooftop breakfast the best of the best!!’
Cons: Shower. Will ask for a walk in shower in the future.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The hotel itself is beautiful. The restaurants and bar attached are very nice, with good food and plenty of options. There’s a small pool and sauna on the rooftop with a stunning view. The lobby is elegant and the place feels very safe in the chaotic environment or Naples.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location Breakfast included The amazing gym The door staff
Cons: Free wifi only in the lobby and in the restaurant. Otherwise you have to pay 9eur a day...which is not very useful when you are traveling as a tourist and you want to do some researches ...
5.4 Okay
Pros: Staff
Cons: Not good value for money. Very basic facilities for the rate.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Location. Comfortable bed. Breakfast vista. Quiet rooms. Helpful front desk staff.
Cons: No free wifi. Small/Cramped shower. Quality of breakfast items provided could be improved. Pool on roof is more a warm spa than refreshing pool.
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Hotel was in a great location and close to the port. Our room had a great view, the breakfast had a big selection of hot and cold choices and the view from breakfast area sensational.Staff super friendly and helpful. A quick dip in the rooftop pools was much needed after very hot day sightseeing.
Cons: The bathroom shower flooded the floor and the tiles in the shower were in need of either a good clean or replacing.
7.9 Good
Pros: Everone was nice and since this was a stop on our honeymoon they have made us a surprise and we got a room upgrade, free cake and champagne. Thank you for that!
Cons: The wifi is not free of charge. Small rooms.

Cons: Very weird vibe.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful hotel in fantastic location and gorgeous terraced areas to relax on with very friendly helpful staff
Cons: Could not fault it
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel had kept the original features. Whatever corner you rent round there was a pleasant surprise. The roof garden was beautiful and lovely to sit and chill in. It’s hard to remember you are in Naples whilst up there. The staff were friendly, the rooms were spotlessly cleaned and the food was amazing in the restaurant.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Well located. Great breakfast on the terrace. And what a view from the pool deck! Stunning!
Cons: Our advertised 'hydromassage' shower did not work.
6.3 Good
Pros: Hotel overall and views were fabulous but the hotel let itself down in some key areas. This should be ‘The’ hotel in Naples and can be with small changes.
Cons: The reception and bar staff were generally dismissive and disinterested and customer service for a hotel of this type was lacking. There were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room which was poor. Even budget hotels have this. The pool area was often dirty with left over glasses and towels and unswept of a morning. Not once in a week did we see it hoses down. The roof terrace is spectacular and should be the hotel’s jewel in the crown but there just seemed insufficient staff to clean it. The pool toilets were dirty and never once saw them being cleaned. The terrace restaurant is amazing save that the menu did not change and the menus themselves smudged and dirty. For the very high prices and location would expect a variance of choices and suspect that it’s the same menu all season given the condition of the menus. We had booked 3 dinner dates but cancelled the third due to the lack of menu change and choice. There were also no checkout changing or shower facilities for guests which was poor for a high quality hotel like this. Changing in a toilet with just a basin to try and clean off suncream etc was not fun. This hotel really should be and could be the best in Naples but little things let it down. I hope they read this review and take some of what’s said as constructive feedback and change.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Views were amazing! And so was the pool!
Cons: When we arrived we were told we had only booked a single occupancy for a double room. We had no idea this was the case and it really wasn’t made clear when we booked. There we also a few other hidden charges that we didn’t expect
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We had a great stay in San Francesco al Monte. Nice, bright and very clean room with a perfectly working A/C. Lovely staff from every department. The restaurant on the 4th is great, we were satisfied both with the breakfast and the dinner. The hotel is situated a bit out of the center however it has good transport connection but it is not too far to walk either. And obviously cannot miss to mention the stunning, amazing view to the city, the sea and Vesuvius from the room and the restaurant, as well.
Cons: We were aware about the opening hours in advance but it would have been great to have the chance to use the pool, it might could have an opening time for a little bit longer.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful views, enjoyable swimming pool, a variety of restaurants and good service. It’s very nicely decorated and brand new.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: An excellent hotel to enjoy Naples from. The hotel has fantastic features and a view of Versuvius. The hotel will help you with taxis and trips. Excellent selection for breakfast. 100% recommend this hotel if visiting Naples.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful view and hotel. Love that they display it's covenant history. Very Italian.
Cons: Nothing really but if i needed to be picky pillows were uncomfortable (very big) and some staff were a bit serious, not rude but not particularly happy and approachable either. Overall loved our stay.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wow ! What a beautiful location and what a lovely experience. Loved the pool- once you get used to the cold water it's so lovely to swim outdoors in such a scenic location. The hotel is very clean and the maitre d' of the 4th floor restaurant is excellent.
Cons: No tea and coffee making facilities in room.
6.0 Good
Pros: View of Naples was great, from roof top terrace, and restaurant
Cons: Bathroom was in horrible condition. Lights not working, heavy mold and mildew growth in bathroom, bathtub broken and in disrepair

Pros: Sky terrace was lovely
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Week long stay with family. Hotel is fantastic with very helpful staff. Our Italian is quite limited but most of the staff speak English and are willing to help you with whatever you need. Location is not exactly close to everything but the station is 20 minute walk away but if you ask at reception they will take you there in the hotel car - a quick phone call on your return and they will pick you up at the station and save the walk up the hill. Terrace bar is a lovely place to end the evening and the food at breakfast and in the restaurant in the evening is great. Small pool but plenty of beds and bar/snack bar with again, very helpful staff. We stayed in the annexe which is next to the hotel with lovely sized rooms and the bonus of outdoor seating space in many of the rooms. Overall an excellent place to stay and would definitely come back to visit more of the Naples area.
Cons: Not a 'didn't like' but for some, the area is not touristy and local restaurants do not speak a lot of English, however all were very helpful. If you aren't driving, you are relying on the local train service - it is cheap and frequent but the Sorrento train is very full all of the time. Still a convenient place to see lots of the surrounding area and the hotel will drive you to and pick you up from the station - take advantage of it.

9.7 Excellent
Pros: The peace and stillness of this lovely hotel contribute to its romance. We felt like we were in a dream! We ate all of our meals in the outside dining room. Everything is white in this gorgeous hotel, including the two outdoor waiting rooms. The master chef offers many FABULOUS dinner choices, beautifully presented, every night. AND there is a full and complete breakfast buffet each morning which is complementary! One of the most amazing features is the Sky Room which is on top of the building (with umbrellas to shield from the sunlight) and offers SPECTACULAR views of the sea with the Isle of Capri directly in front of you, the lights of Sorrento to the left and a fabulous view of Mt. Vesivius to the back. There is a wonderfully maintained pool with full services. It would be remiss not to mention the fabulous landscaping. There are lush green tropical trees and bushes everywhere but especially outside the dining room. It is astoundingly beautiful.
Cons: We liked everything! But there is only one coffee maker which makes one small cup at a time. Not quite enough for such a large hotel but also we are not complaining. One tip: bring all of your Euros with you. Do not count on getting money in this small town. None of the banks change money and the ATM's are broken, and few and far between.
7.5 Good
Pros: The views of Vesuvius and Capri and the bay of Naples. Room was modern and clean
Cons: The area left a lot to be desired. Not much to do unless you go out in the car. Not much in walking distance

Cons: A little far out from everything if you’re using public transport & not a huge range of restaurants around however the hotel restaurant is lovely.
