The rooms were very attractive, very individual and well appointed.
Greeting on arrival was somewhat muted. We didn't realise that we would be staying in the 'annexe' - it didn't matter in the end but would have been nice to be told earlier than when walking across the street. Bathroom a bit small-shower was good.

It was clean, decorated very nicely, quiet, smelt nice and parking was easy.
I would rather have had the breakfast facilities in our part of the building - had the weather been awful it would have been not very nice to cross over to the other building for breakfast. There was no hotel information in our part of the hotel either.

the room we had was very spacious and nicely furnished
shower leaked and fittings were poor. Toilet was very small & cold! door to our room was not very secure + large gap so anyone could see through.

Friendliness of staff, cleanliness of hotel and good choice of breakfast. Having parking capacity helps as hotel is situated in small backstreets just of the main promenade and space is restricted.
The standard double room is on the small side and more what you'd expect in a B&B establishment (although it was clean and well furnished). The sink in the en-suite bathroom was tiny and difficult to use.
