Pros: Maria and her farm stay were so delightful. Everything was extremely comfortable and the food delicious! It was the perfect place to stop on our long drives across the countryside.
Cons: I couldn’t fault it
Pros: My wife was choking on a pill she tried to swallow. The owner saved her life. What more can I say? Of course the food was delicious and the bed very comfortable... Brian Peace
Cons: Nothing po
Pros: Out of Potenza definitely need transport, very rural and exactly as described. GPS location accurate short unmade road but no problem. Secluded and very quiet, accomadation is in relatively newly added building adjacent to original farm house. As other reviewers note do select to request an evening meal. On my visit I was only guest and meal was prepared after consulting, excellent suggestions made and a meal to remember was the result. Not to be missed. If down to earth, plain good quality is what you wish for food and accomadation this place is highly recommended. Good English spoken. Good breakfast.
Cons: Slightly out of the way but well worth the trouble
Pros: Fantastic friendly welcome from our hostess. She even made us a 4 course meal as we arrived by bike, wet and tired on a monday. The chef does not work on a monday so the restaurant is generally closed then. The underfloor heating was great. The ricotta cheese, panacotta and yoghurt all made on the farm was brilliant. We recommend this taverna.
Cons: The place would have been even better if there had been a kettle with tea in the room. Our hostess was kind enough to make us free hot drinks on arrival.
Pros: The farm is a nice and quiet place to relax. Dinner, breakfast were excellent and all food was homemade. The host/staff were very nice.
Pros: Our host was fantastic- so friendly and informative. The breakfast and dinner provided at short notice was superb. We are very thankful we stayed. The farm experience was a bonus. It was quiet and peaceful.
Cons: All great.
Pros: Loved the peaceful location, best part was the yummy breakfast!
Pros: Spacious, comfortable room. Upgraded at no extra cost. Food superb with farm's own cheese and yoghurt, homemade jam and cake on offer. Also had dinner which featured traditional local produce and was delicious. Spotted c10 species butterfly in garden and on short walk to cow shed. Heard nightingales at night too.
Cons: Nothing !
Pros: The dinner was fast better than expected, the home made cheese and yogurt was amazing.
Cons: The weather, just kidding everything was perfect.

Pros: Staff there is extraordinary. It is family run and it is the perfect balance between authenticity and professionalism. Property is quite extraordinary. It is like a travel in time in a good way. I strongly recommend staying there. We had a 2 bedroom suite as we were traveling with kids. The second room had a lot of toys in it. The kids loved it.
Cons: location, furnishings, facilities, no coffee or tea in room
Pros: This was the best hotel we stayed at during our trip to Italy. We went to see family and have a reunion. The staff at the hotel were more than accommodating. They allowed us to invite some family over to enjoy their beautiful and expansive pool. The afternoon was so enjoyable. They prepared a special lunch for us and everyone was overwhelmed, even the Italians who live in Italy. The chef was the best. We enjoyed all our meals there. Such a warm and friendly place.
Cons: It is a little difficult to find, but once you know where you are going it is very easy.
Pros: The location is good if you are looking for a quite place away from city noise. Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Cons: Non hing
Pros: The hotel has a lovely garden, it is quiet, staff is lovely, it is very clean and restful, wonderful family management; the surrounding area is rural. Nice fitness room; you have to ask the receptionist to turn on the lights.
Cons: I am a swimmer and was hoping to enjoy the outdoor swimming pool. Pool is not heated and the jacuzzi produces bubbles when you ask the desk person to turn it on, but it has no heat. Remote location. If you do not have a car, taxis are pricey.

Pros: Right below the small old city, yet calm and quiet neighborhood which is something to be valued in Italy :) Bed and room comfortable.
Cons: The breakfast could be improved.
Pros: Great location...50 meters from the Main Street.
Pros: Friendly and helpful staff, excellent location and a generous breakfast buffet. Good restaurant too with a nice terrace overlooking the town and countryside.
Pros: The place was clean and near the center of the city.
Cons: The staff was not friendly and only a few of them can barely communicate in English. There was a problem regarding the pre-authorization. The room was too expensive although it was too small.
Pros: The location was near the old town. The parking facility was fine (I parked my own car). We had a nice view from our room. The TV had CNN & BBC. The breakfast was good. Easy access in and out of city.
Cons: It's a business hotel.
Pros: The location and the views are wonderful. The staff is very accommodating and feiendly
Pros: The breakfast spread was wonderful. It is close to the plaza and a wonderful National Museum. That is a must see.
Cons: The shower is small for normal size people, however if you are of a robust size it will be impossible to comfortably take a shower. The toilet is stuck in a corner and a little tight. The elevator says it hold 7 people, i would love to see that happen.
Pros: I have stayed here before and it was good to see the usual high standards were still there. It is fairly close to the main street of the old town and the staff and food were both above average. Breakfast was provided as a buffet and a nice choice was provided. While Potenza is not really a tourist destination for this region, it is still a nice enough town and this is as good a place as any to stay and explore the region.
Cons: Even though this is southern Italy, it is high up (around 800m above sea level) and so a bit cold and the room could have been a bit warmer.
Pros: Wait staff was good at breakfast and dinner Food was good too. Scenery from window beautiful.
Cons: No wifi , no airconditioning!!! No attempt to rectify despite several complaints. Gave us the runaround. Said they’d fix it, never got back to us. Then said we were setting the dial incorrectly, said it was turned off, etc. my brother-in-law on a different floor also had no AC and got the same non-responses. All of this after when we first arrived, there was an awful cleaning fluid smell in the room. I was shown 2 more rooms same thing. Then I was told they couldn’t help me!!! I was choking so I left the room with the one window open for 2 hours, to no avail. Finally, after making a huge scene ( something way out of my comfort zone) with a manager, he moved incoming guests around and showed me a room without the smell which I took.
Pros: WOW, beautiful hotel , great view, lives up to 4 stars hotel in italy.
Situated in Castelmezzano, this farm stay is within 20 mi (32 km) of Parco della Grancia, National Archaeological Museum - Palazzo Loffredo, and Cathedral of San Gerardo. San Michele Arcangelo and Palazzo degli Uffici are also within 25 mi (40 km).
Pros: Amazing location in the mountains. Large, clean, friendly. The dinner was outstanding. Staff very obliging. Good games room! I think would be ideal for a longer stay.
Cons: It was out of season and was given an incorrect bill and could only pay the correct one in cash; wifi not working, but that's bad luck..
Pros: Craftsmanship of the resort
Cons: Breakfast could include fruit and or yogurt
Cons: Breakfast was a disaster. Staff was not very welcoming nor helpful.
Pros: We liked the location and view. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, especially Signore Pinnucio. The restaurant food and breakfasts were excellent.
Cons: The room was very small and the property’s access road was in bad condition. Although accessible wifi was advertised it was unavailable in the rooms.
Pros: The restaurant & food served
Cons: Condition of road leading to Agriturismo
Pros: The scenery in the area is breathtaking. Mountains and very large granite rocks.
Cons: There are signs to the location but still difficult to find. It was difficult to get registered at the agriturismo. Perhaps they were understaffed when we were there.
Pros: Perfect location in the nature. Amazing local food.
Pros: The restaurant, the hospitality, the location, the animals

Pros: The hotel was fine. Spacious, clean rooms. A courteous and professional staff. Breakfast fine.

Pros: space in the room, cleanless,
Cons: the entrance hall
Pros: Very helpful staff and in a great central location.
Cons: A bit difficult to find
Pros: Perfect location in the centre of Potenza. Room was spacious and well presented. As soon as you step outside you are in the main centre which is pedestrianised. Staff very helpful.
Cons: If you have a car, the car park is at a multi storey car park nearby. Although nearby it is a hike up alot of steps.equivalent to climbing 5-6 floors.
Pros: Ok I'll start with the positives - the room was lovely, very comfortable and it was a nice surprise to find a kettle and tea sachets which is very rare in Italy. The hotel is also right in the centre of Potenza. Girl at reception was very sweet and kind despite all my moaning about the car park which I'll explain below.
Cons: The car parking situation is astonishing. I arrived at night and followed the Google map to the hotel but ended up lost. I called the hotel and asked for directions and advice on parking and the girl explained where I could park and also referred me to the e-mail they'd sent about it which I hadn't seen until that point. I put the address of the car park in on the SATNAV and at one point was told to turn left on to a one way street which I only realised when half a dozen cars came tearing towards me flashing lights and beeping horns! When I eventually found the car park I'd driven ten minutes away from where I originally thought the hotel was and most of that drive had been downhill. I had two suitcases, one of which was very heavy and I didn't fancy a long walk up a hill with it all but the receptionist reassured me on all this when I called her again. So I parked the car in the multi-storey and the first problem was that neither of the two lifts would arrive despite me repeatedly pressing the buttons. Luckily a local came along and showed me the knack of getting the buttons to work and we proceeded up to the top of the car park and back out into the pitch-black. I then had to walk to a building where there's an escalator up to the town centre which you have to pay for (€1.50). At the top of two escalators I then had to get in another lift to the top of this building before arriving, exhausted at the town centre where the receptionist kindly came to rescue me! Ok I feel better for getting that off my chest but the point is the hotel really needs to establish a more workable system for people with cars or alternatively remove the "nearby parking" from the list of facilities. Getting to and from the car was nothing less than an adventure, just what you don't want after a long drive. Sorry for moaning but I have to be honest and I wouldn't want anyone else to have to go through all that.

Pros: The bed extra confy and a super professional massager!
Pros: Wonderful place. Not far from Potenza. Nice staff (not all speak English). They serve dinner. You can choose a la carte or fixed price. At breakfast we received cheese plate on top of the regular Italian buffet. The swimming pool and sauna are open till 20.00 which was great since it was snowing outside. Also there is a natural park just in front of the hotel.

Pros: The location is superb and the staff are friendly. The garage is also a welcome bonus.
Cons: The room. If that was a superior room goodness knows what the basic ones are like! The only toiletries were two wet shower caps and the general ambience of the room was not helped by a vase of dusty looking plastic flowers!
Pros: The room is Very clean and the location is very good
Cons: Breakfast is very limited
Pros: location only
Cons: cold, weak breakfast, old furniture,
Pros: Great location, friendly staff, and convenience of the adjoining garage.
Pros: The room was clean but dated. The fire alarm went off and it took time for it to be switched off as a false alarm. The breakfast was excellent
Cons: The access to the hotel was difficult by car and the parking under the hotel could be better signposted.
Cons: The man at the reception speaks only Italian, arrogant, extremely unusual. After parking in hotels garage the man at the reception to refuse car keys. No breakfast, just 4 croissants for all hotel guests. Never ever!!!
Pros: Wasn't my first time to stay in this hotel. Love the location. Breakfast is ok, omelet or scrambled eggs with sausage or beacon would be far better than cereals croissants and yogurt...
Cons: Breakfast could be better. omelet or scrambled eggs with sausage or beacon would be far better than cereals croissants and yogurt...
Pros: Location: it is in the heart of the historical centre, in a quiet place near to main facilities post shops restaurants parking mini market laundrette panorama point (Tower Guevara) and main pedestrian street. I came to south of Italy for the first time with no car and a very basic Italian and had a great time during San Gerardo celebration. It is a 5/10 min by taxi from Potenza Céntrale train station and coach stop uphill. (Around 10 euros taxi -rate from June 2018) but I understand there is an uphill train if you prefer. Staff: lovely family business always ready to help specially if you aren’t an Italian speaker. Very clean and quiet for a siesta. As a solo traveler I had a great stay with good internet conexión, a comfy bed with breakfast included and a great panoramic view of Potenza hills for a good price. I would not hesitate to use them again in the future
