Everything was great
Two open air kitchens with a beach view, one on each floor ! Clean bathrooms, comfortable beds and free drinking water. The owner Patricio was very helpful and let us check out at 3pm when we changed plans and decided to sleep at Mazunte.
Old building which could do with some freshing up
Close to beach, bars, shops and restaurants.
The whole building was dirty and falling apart. The room was a makeshift cell with wide gaps, no lock or knobs, and zero privacy. The mattress seemed like something someone discarded and offered no comfort (unless you enjoy a 2x4 piece of wood against your back all night). The bathrooms were dirty and often had no toilet paper and there was a roach in the shower while I showered (quite the voyeur)
Bang on the beach, near lots of bars and cafes, all you need in a hostel. Well stocked beer fridge, good vibes
The mattresses are ancient and you can feel every bed spring. Also could do with a bit more dedicated cleaning from the owners. Currently only volunteers do the cleaning. Lots of dust is stuck behind the mosquito nets.
Amazing location but really not clean. Cigarette holes in sheets and condim under the bed
