9.6 Excellent
Pros: This is a beautiful high-end hotel in Qufu, more expensive than other options in town but still a good value compared to high-end hotels in major cities in China. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and very clean, and breakfast is good. Qufu itself is a small city, really a town in Chinese terms, but is worth visiting for being Confucius' birthplace, residence and burial site. Try the theatrical Confucius spectacle (in Chinese but nevertheless enjoyable) and visit the large Confucius temple site and Cong family mansion. About 1.5 hours by car is Tai Shan, the holiest mountain in China, which you can climb by foot (6600 or 3500 stone steps, depending on where you start) or by cable car.
Cons: We arrived late so we went for dinner at the hotel restaurant, but (possibly because of the late hour) most of the items on the menu were not available and whatever was available was not particularly good.
9.0 Excellent
Pros: Chinese restaurant was gourmet standard.
Cons: Nothing in particular.
10.0 Excellent

8.0 Excellent
Pros: The staff is really nice and the hostel is cute. The bar/restaurant is a very nice place to have a beer, play games and eat. The food is good and it is really close to the Confucius-related venues.
Cons: The shared room was full and the mattress was too hard. Only one toilet/shower for the 12 people and no lockers inside the room, which means we could not keep our stuff.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly and helpfull staff. They prepared a dinner though we arrived quite late and helped finding busses to some more remote places. Good restaurant attached. Also a good place to hang out when tired. Learn 5 proverbs of Confucius and get free entrance to the Confucius sites.
Cons: Everything was fine.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: The location is perfect, there's a great restaurant/lounge area downstairs (with Western food), the rooms are clean and comfy, and most importantly the staff is super helpful! They will go the extra mile to accomodate you.
Cons: Nothing!
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly, it was very clean and quiet and the food tasty.
Cons: --
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The staff was very friendly, helped us to organise some trips. The food, tea and coffee were all tasty. Plenty of things to choose from the menu. The location is perfect: Confucius mansion and temple is just around the corner, a smaller but still nice temple is just opposite. The room was clean and tidy.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The room I chose was relatively cheap, and was well worth the money. It is close to all sightworthy attractions in Qufu, which can be found by foot. One of the staff members in particular was quite friendly, and makes a great cocktail ;).
Cons: Communication with staff can be tricky at times. We managed to understand each other in the end though, so I guess things worked out in the end.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Wonderful place. Great open common room for parties or singing or lounging. Awesome menu for meals. Full bar. Wonderful location. Should’ve stayed longer.
Cons: It was empty when I went
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly staff and the location and good selection of beer
Cons: Road side rooms very noisy due to morning traffic beeping the horn every 25 seconds.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Nice bathroom but only one for 16 people room (lucky for me it was only another girl and I). I honestly don't think it gets crowded anytime. The restaurant there was very nice, cheap western options, loads of cocktails. Location inside the ancient walls, walking distance from the three Kong. The location in booking was incorrect and I called and the staff even came to find me.
Cons: Hard bed, they make you do and undo your own bed for check in and check out.
