Pros: Beautiful hotel and really great service!
Cons: Nothing at all.
7.5 Good
Pros: Great location. Lovely gardens. Beautiful setting. Good hotel gym. Very good breakfast (though at 41 euro, not cheap).
Cons: I was in Baden Baden to do some mountain biking. Being sweaty in shorts and a sleeveless tshirt made me stand out like a sore thumb in this hotel. At 53 I was pretty much the youngest person there other than a small number of well-groomed wives of much older husbands and a few people in their 20s holidaying with wealthy parents. Could really do with an outdoor pool. Terrible night's sleep on first night due to church bells from 7am.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing beautiful chateau filled with art and mesmerizing beauty everywhere you look the rooms were excellent with a breathtaking views of the black forest Sacha the concierge was amazing and oh my god they have the cutest cat « cleopatra » We enjoyed every second of the stay The spa was amazing as well
Cons: One thing only that i didn’t like they don’t have a night menu for the room service and since all restaurants in the town were closed we couldn’t order food past 11pm. That was the only disturbing part of our stay I wish they can upgrade their menu
9.2 Excellent
Pros: - the hotel has a nice unique style - staff all are great and helpful - Restuarant and bar are good with high standards - location is amazing - parking is close by and always easy - overall amazing experience and wonderful choice to go for
Cons: - the rooms are not so quiet between each other, you should expect some noise - AC is not perfect as I’m used to a colder room when I’m sleeping
9.2 Excellent
Pros: Fantastic location; set in parkland but only a 5 minute walk into town - and its a beautiful walk next to a stream. Hotel was very traditional in style which we liked, perhaps a little tired here and there but spotlessly clean and felt cared for. Bed was comfortable. Don't bother with breakfast - walk into town where are some great little cafes etc. we found near the Casino (BTW we went to the Casino one evening but wouldn't bother going back - it might have been the place to be in 1965 - but not special now!).
9.6 Excellent
Pros: everything was top notch. spa, restaurants, room. the atmosphere is from another era with a modern twist. The best location in town by far and so peaceful. will be back.
Cons: The pilows were a bit on the soft side for my liking otherwise nothing to fault.

Pros: Very comfortable beds, unexpected and lovely included snacks, spacious room, easy underground passage to Caracalla, walking distance to core Baden Baden, pleasant staff. The best place we stayed the entire trip.
Cons: A minor thing but truly awkward for friends traveling together is the window looking directly into the shower from the bedroom. Is it supposed to be sexy? I’m not sure it would be even if I was with my spouse. Don’t let that stop you from staying here though, the place is fantastic.

9.2 Excellent
Pros: This hotel was lovely. The staff were friendly, the room was lovely and the dinner was exceptional. The restaurant is clearly in great demand with many people coming from outside the hotel, so it's worth booking. We hadn't, but they managed to fit us in. It's in a small village in the heart of the Black Forest, and the surroundings are beautiful.
Cons: From the address, we thought the hotel was in Baden-Baden but it's actually about half an hour away in the Black Forest. It's so nice that we didn't mind in the end.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: The apartment/hotel is very charming! And the owners were super nice as well. The location is great as it's a walking distance to the old town. The shower is also good and so is the wifi.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Amazing decoration and furbishing. Very friendly owners, and very nice and big rooms. From the pics I thought it was middle in the fields, but in fact it is in the village. Nevertheless everything is very green and quiet all around. The sorrounding area is very nice and green and it is really worth to have a walk to the main part of the village on the other side of the river for restaurants, ice cream, beer, etc. I didn't expect that. Nice surprise.
Cons: Pillows, but already told the owner about this and he said they usually have more in the room, but may have forgotten them in my room. Nothing dramatic (I used a folded blanket beneath the pilllow and the problem was solved).

Pros: We first met Oliver as we arrived. He was great. We had dinner which was exceptional. There is a walking trail directly behind the hotel. The hotel is an old hunting/fishing lodge. There is beautiful woodwork and wood chandeliers. The rooms are newly remodeled. The rooms are completely functional and comfortable, but not as nice as the old lodge itself. Woke group of 4 highly recommend Waldhotel Forellenhof
Cons: Nothing

6.7 Good
Pros: Nice caring staff.
Cons: All rooms should have elevators, room service is not available and no tea making facilities.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Excellent location in the middle of the forest. So silent, peaceful and fresh air. Superb healthy breakfast, Friendly staff. Very tasty food as well.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: If you are looking for peace and quiet, this is it. You are close to Baden-Baden, but it feels like you are out in the forest. Well, you are. The staff is first-rate.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is nestled within the Black Forest so you can actually hike from the hotel. Buy from the hotel reception the hiking map at 2 euros and you can use the map to hike to different parts of black forest. The hotel has a lot of character and is surrounded by nature. Our kids love the mini golf and it kept the kids and us occupied when we are back in the hotel.
Cons: Hmm, we had dinner at the restaurant and I must say, the service can be improved. They did not provide us with table setting until our food came, and we had to ask for our cutlery, unlike the other tables with guests. I am not sure whether it was because we did not speak German. But the staff who served us is friendly and I take it that they were just too busy.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: really lovely traditional hotel, staff and management are very friendly
Cons: nothing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful location, a walk away from public transport into town. Get a pass to get a free hour in the spa, so worth it. If you have a car go then the nearest village/town 6 km away for a bit of food.
Cons: Restaurant not open Monday or Tuesday but if you have a car go to nearest village. Check google maps.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The setting in the forest, the very traditional building with a 1910 style but with a modern touch in the bedrooms, the staff, the excellent food, particularly breakfast.
Cons: Nothing
10.0 Excellent
Pros: We enjoyed the location. Easy to get to using the train and bus, with hiking trails right behind the hotel. We especially loved the breakfast. The rolls and bread were fresh every day and all the foods wad delicious.

6.3 Good
Pros: Clean Nice swimming pool and fitness friendly staff Modern
Cons: Water boiler not available and when requested, an old one brought that immediately burned and filled the room with smoke. Pros: I really appreciated the Level of Service in the Rooftop Bar/Pool area. All the Staff were friendly & created a relaxing atmosphere with their relaxed, easy going personalities. A huge compliment to DAVID....he exceeded our Service expectations ...with his Open mindness approach to Service & Knowledge of the Menu. He is a Great asset to your Hotel!
Cons: No breakfast items Or options on the Menu for the Rooftop Bar....i.e. A Croissant with Jans/Nutella Or a Omlette with a slice of Bread. (Not every guest wants to eat a Buffet breakfast especially if they Are Not Big breakfast eaters....at the Price of 32€ ).
6.3 Good
Pros: The hotel is new and contemporary, the location is good , walking for short distance to the center
Cons: The hotel room service is expected to clean and wipe the dust every day, but they only replace bed blankets . We ordered connecting rooms but one of the hotel staff told us that the rooms are not available now because they are already booked but after two days they will be available. and we asked our rooms after those people checked out but they said we can not change it because these rooms may be booked, although this situation has been exposed to me in other 5 stars hotels and rooms have been booked

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Central location. Close to the Spa and restaurants. Parking was available....just a short walk to it. Staff were very nice and friendly. Property had balconies with couple of chairs... enjoyed the view.
4.6 Okay
Pros: The room size was large for Europe. The location was as expected, close to the old town. Car parking was easy and near bye. Baden Baden is a city that has a small old town and little night life during the working week. Its main feature is the spa resort, so at night the old town was pretty much dead except for one or two restaurants.
Cons: During summer the windows need to be kept open at night and there is street noise from trucks in the road passing under the hotel window. The airconditioning unit provided is a portable unit, totally inefficient, noisy and inadequate for cooling. The hotel must find an alternative method to keep rooms cool during summer.

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful vineyard. The restaurant in the castle was fabulous
Cons: Wish we could have stayed in the castle. Couldn’t get the A/c to work. Probably due to user error
6.3 Good
Pros: Staff was kind and very friendly plus gave good advise at the restaurant, breakfast lady was amazing ! Style of the rooms is really nice
Cons: We found a sock in the cupboard of the room from a previous visitor :-( Receiving water in the room only on day one and not after was disappointing
9.6 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is situated in charmig position surrounded by vines. The breakfast was very good and in a beautiful patio. It is a bit pricy but al in all we can recommend it. It is possible to test their products at the wine shop just beside the hotel.
Cons: Nothing. It was not so clear where the reception was.
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Service and food in restaurant
Cons: Couldn’t find a reception but staff found us and were very helpful
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Very friendly owner and staff. Amazing food!
10.0 Excellent
Pros: the stuff was very friendly, the restaurant, the food was a dream come true
Cons: the wine mountains
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Staff were amazing, we spoke to each one of them and they were all helpful and let us understand more about the area. I liked the idea that the place is linked to a winery. We went there the next day and had wine tasting and bought some even for ourselves. Wine was so good! The location was 15 mins away from baden baden which we knew already, and that was something we liked actually. Being in Baden Baden all the time is not that needed, we could see the whole city in 1 day. However being in the country side, in this hotel helped us relax and enjoy the scenery around.
Cons: Air conditioning was a bit loud and not working well at night. I could feel the room temperature was slightly hotter than the outside even. Room was OK, we might have gotten a smaller one than usual but it was convenient for our 1 day stay.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Our second stay here. Quiet, super comfortable, we enjoyed an excellent breakfast served outside on the Schloss patio. Avoids the traffic of BB & ideal for access to the B500.
Cons: Nothing - just note that if no one is present at reception, then report direct to the Schloss Restaurant.

10.0 Excellent
Pros: Breathtaking views, lovely room, and the restaurant food was incredible. I loved it all!
7.1 Good
Pros: The views are stunning. We had a very nice walk. Also breakfast was very good!
Cons: To be honest it's a matter of expectation. We visited expecting a castle experience. Having stayed at 4 castles including the Ashford, this one was lacking on that. For us, it felt like a boutique hotel almost vineyard type of hotel. Rooms are ok. Restaurant on the hotel is for fine dining (we didn't tried it) and there is a second restaurant with very good food.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Beautiful, comfortable and clean Breakfast is good
6.3 Good
Pros: The view from the terrace restaurant was lovely.
Cons: Nowhere to sit in the evening other than your room. There was a small library with a few chairs but no tea or coffee or bar other than the restaurant. No tea or coffee facilities in room. No staff after 9 pm.
6.3 Good
Pros: The view from the terrace
Cons: For the idea of staying on the property of a Castile, it was far from that feeling. It was old and that is the only resemblance There was nothing to do there and you had to drive quite a distance to get to any kind of town.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Everything
Cons: Nothing
9.2 Excellent
Pros: The hotel is hands down beautiful with each room sparkling with luxury and everything seems premium from the perfect white linen to stainless bathrooms. The white orchids at every window were an amazing touch. The views on the outside are amazing since its located on a hill in the black forest.
Cons: The breakfast was good but could have been better and a 24 hour check in process would be very much appreciated.

9.6 Excellent
Pros: Extremely friendly staff Excellent Greek cuisine in the restaurant downstairs Quiet and calm
Cons: There are some temporary road works in the city and the light is right in front of the hotel so, busses, motorbikes and cars idle right outside tour window at all hours of day and night. It’s by no means the hotel’s fault, but, still unpleasant.

This historic hotel in Rastatt offers modern rooms, Wi-Fi internet access and free parking. It lies opposite Rastatt Train Station and a 10-minute walk from Rastatt Palace. Dating from 1907, the Hotel am Kulturplatz provides elegant rooms with a minibar, flat-screen TV and safe. A continental breakfast is available each morning. 7.5 Good
Pros: Very clean and quiet, and located right across the street from the train station. Comfortable clean room. Nice updated fixtures and bathroom. Decent wifi, signal was a little weak but it worked. Hostess was very polite upon check-out and offered me a free coffee for the road. The person who checked me in was not as helpful.
Cons: Not many facilities - it's basically a large B&B. So no office work room, no exercise room, etc. The staff never interacted with me until check-out. When I arrived they looked up my name in their book, and handed me a key and walked away. I don't speak any German, so was not sure about the Breakfast, was it included? Was some included some extra? The staff did not reach out and ask if they could help while I was standing in the restaurant looking confused. I ended up eating out with colleagues anyway, but was curious what the restaurant options were for guests. This was not written out anywhere that I could find. Most information even in my room was in German. I used Google translate to read it. This seems more like a German inn for Germans, not for international travelers. Overall though it was very clean and nice and affordable.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: The is a budget hotel and you get what you pay for. The staff were brilliant but we missed having air conditioning in the room. We were woken up by revellers on the street outside the hotel because we had to keep the window open to let in cool air. On the plus side it is a short walk through the gardens to get to the palace.
Cons: Lack of air conditioning.
7.1 Good
Pros: Nice atmosphere City centre
Cons: No heating in my room - despite this, I got no reduction on the room price
10.0 Excellent
Pros: Exceptionally well maintained rooms
