The inconsiderate attitude of the night receptionist. Having had a flight cancellation in the UK and having to travel on a later flight and later connection to Recife Brazil totalling in over 10hrs flying time, arriving in Recife absolutely exhausted. The least we expected was a friendly welcoming approach from the check in clerk. He was first of all annoyed because I had booked a single room, however my husband decided to come with me at the last minute, this, the clerk seemed annoyed about, he would not accept we were married just because we have deferent surnames. We arrived at the hotel 04:30 am, we asked we could stay a little longer than the 12 noon check out. He showed no simpathy with our problem even the fact my husband is 74yrs old did not concerned him. The room was very bland and breakfast also very poor. Our room was overlooking a slum. We have used this hotel in the past, but we’ll never use it again. And we don’t recommend it
