Pros: The hotel is run by a husband and wife team. They were very helpful and friendly. Our room overlooked the railway station car park and towards the station, it was very clean, light and airy. A short walk takes you to a few restaurants and the canal. All in all an ideal place to stay to discover the local area. Added benefit of a private car park

Overview Reviews
Located in Saint-Nicolas-de-Redon, Bel Hotel is within a 10-minute drive of Saint-Sauveur Church and Musee de la Batellerie. Featured amenities include complimentary newspapers in the lobby, multilingual staff, and a library. Free self parking is available onsite.
8.8 Excellent
Pros: Very Good Basic Hotel - very clean and tidy and the staff were very helpful and friendly. Rooms were spotless, tidy , bed was comfortable and bathroom was clean and fully functional. We only stayed overnight as we were breaking a long journey - but it was perfect for that. The Hotel is easy to access from out of town. there is plenty of parking as its located next to a shopping centre - that had everything including a fuel forecourt. We didn't eat in the hotel as its only a short distance from the town centre - on the canal ( useful tip is to use the shortcut thru the Car dealership next door - it cuts 5 minutes off the walk into town). Redon was surprisingly interesting and very picturesque - with the canals meeting the river and all the old building around it. plenty of bars and restaurants within a 10 minute walk of the hotel as is the town centre. All in All we enjoyed our stay in Redon.
Cons: No complaints here- the Hotel is a basic 2 star -the views aren't fantastic but very well kept and managed and well located for amenties.
8.3 Excellent
Pros: Friendly helpful staff. Good breakfast. Clean. Safe bike parking.
7.5 Good
Pros: Good Hotel, shame it's so close to a shopping mall, we stayed in July when it was hot , difficult to ventilate the room hence the uncomfortable nights stay, would have been fine if it was dull or raining. Plus some person had a long telephone conversation at approx 3 am which i'm sure everyone else could hear.
Cons: lack of ventilation and noisy guests
7.9 Good
Pros: Very clean, comfortable and well-run. Good for an overnight stay.
10.0 Excellent

8.8 Excellent
Pros: Good buffet breakfast. We could walk in a few minutes from the hotel to a nice pedestrian street, and beyond to downtown.
Cons: We had a bit of trouble finding the hotel, which was back in the corner of a new shopping mall. But once we had found it, we could tell it was really nice, inside and out. It was actually convenient to have stores so close by.
9.6 Excellent
Pros: Just the job for a stop over. Room practical, excellent shower. Staff very helpful. I had lost my adaptor and a replacement was found from one someone else had left behind! Big thanks. Good restaurant within walking distance. Our bikes were securely locked up. Ticked all the boxes for us.
Cons: Nothing

Pros: Close to Redon center where the office is located, plenty of food options nearby.
